- Now we finally have a good reason why recent Jurassic Park fan games were being taken down. This is the kind of game we have been waiting for and I couldn't be happier about it's announcement.

@@lethal6973 because then it would let you play as the main characters from the movie and through the scenes as well like in the fan game but the new one is just a random character nobody cares about on top of that it takes place after the main story, plus with a T rating there’s not much you can do for the horror factor

To be honest, the announcement of JP Survival was THE highlight of the Game Awards for me. The render trailer was perfect. The only thing that worries me is that we've hardly seen any in-game scenes. And the three small in-game scenes we saw looked like a 7/10 at most. So the game could be a great project if it goes in the direction of Alien: Isolation. But it could also be a big flop, only time will tell. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of JP Survival and I hope this game will be a huge success.
I agree, and I also want to mention something. I do agree with your opinion on the in-game scenes they showed looking kinda rough. But at the same time, the text at the bottom displays "Alpha In-game Footage", so _hopefully_ that means it'll improve.

This man has zero humbleness in him. He thinks that Universal is shutting down projects like this because they are making their own official game. The reality is that these fan projects are major IP infringements and they are always being either shut down (Galaxy in Turmoil or Apeiron) or the fan group is forced into some legal agreement with the IP holder (like Black Mesa or Skywind).
People like him kind of prey on fans, not being humble. They make these basic demos promising full-blown fan games and asking for donations while being well aware that this is highly illegal and will never be released.
He is no better than greedy corporations like Universal. Frankly speaking, the owner of this channel sounds like great material for a management person within Universal.

That trailer felt like a punch in the gut but I’m super glad you are making this into a positive with all the bs that’s been happening. I’ll be excited to get both games I just think I’ll be a little biased when choosing which one I prefer 😂
Jurassic Park Survival is being developed by Saber Interactive whom parent company, Embracer Group, is facing financial struggles. Krenautican, please continue with your Cretacious Kingdom project. Who knows if JP Survival will actually release, so a back up survival game will be appreciated.
I absolutely agree that he should keep going but I wouldn't be reading into the parent company's less than stellar returns at this point. Universal has clearly pumped a huge amount of money into survival. I suspect it's less than a year away.
ya when watching the trailer i was like ok now i see why they sent the cease and desist stuff to you, glad to see you are taking this so well, and now we have two games to look forward to, i just hope the "official" one doesn't drop the ball and leave us fans disappointed in the end. They better explain how the hell the raptor got out of the locked freezer... never mind not freezing to death with the power back on.
Were there not three surviving Raptors in the film? Muldoon says that there were originally eight of them but that the "big one" killed all but two of the others...
I know that two Raptors were in the kitchen and with one locked in the freezer, that could still explain why there are two at the finale, that go up against the T-Rex... 🤔

I quite literally just found your channel and finished your last video, and you post! I love the new name and logo!
I hope the devs of JP Survival or Universal can give you some praise or acknowledgement for how dedicated you and your/their fans are to this project.
The two ideas can coexist, and inspire one another other to create more well rounded JP games. At the end of the day in my opinion, the goal for everyone is a rated M Jurassic park experience with the thrill of the hunt, or being the hunted. Not just a cash grab like so many dinosaur games have been in the past.
it might be just me but your rendered rex looks like the rex from jurassic park than what i saw in the JPS trailer.

Bullshittery from Universal sucks, but honestly I really like your attitude towards the while thing and your choice to keep on trucking under your own IP banner! I can confirm that your version is going to be leagues better than what Universal has in store. The passion you have for this project is insurmountable, and you're not being badgered by corporate higher-ups to leave some good pieces on the cutting room floor. Besides, your recreation of Jurassic Park The Ride is something that I myself have wanted to witness, since I never got the chance to go to Universal Studios Hollywood, though I have been to the Universal Orlando Resort, and the River Adventure on Islands of Adventure. 2:07 That's because they're a corporation. They have the resources to make a game LOOK amazing, and yet still be terrible because they're obsessed with money. They didn't want you to make your fan game because they were working on this at the same time. If you made it at any other time, or better yet didn't make any videos on it and just worked on it in secret, it would've been fine.
Appreciate all the love and hard work you've put into this project! As soon as I saw the JP Survival trailer I immediately thought about your game and I also had mixed emotions. On the one hand I'm hyped to see a JP themed survival horror game coming out, but I definitely had reservations/suspicions about the similarities between their trailer and your project. I really hope they were already working on this game and didn't steal your idea. That being said, it's true what you said about them owning all the production rights to the JP franchise so it's not like they're in the wrong to produce Survival, but still, morally grey area if they "borrowed" inspiration. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to seeing your completed project and would love to test it out if you make it playable for the public. Cheers!
Damn. Yeah after watching the trailer, I had to immediately come here to be sure. The love and passion that you’ve put into your game feels leagues better then the pre rendered footage that let’s be honest, was only a teaser. I’d pay for what you’ve got going.

There was a Jurassic park survival game that was release during after the events of lost world which is Trespasser a game where you play as Anne crash landed in Isla Sorna and discovering the secrets of what remains on that island

Make your own IP, you don't need Jurassic park IP to make a dino game. Write your own story. The lost wild did it without issues, you can do it.

Just found your channel and dayum your game looks amazing. Sadly I only play on PC but it looks fun. Also it good that you get your own branding. Breaking free from the corpo overlords and all that. Oh yea and your graphics are league better. The AAA graphics on the official look cg and fake while yours capture the films vibe.
You give that official game too much credit... The trailer we saw was fully pre-rendered and seeing the actual bits of gameplay shows how far the trailer is from the actual gameplay... It truly looks like a cheap game surfing on the Jurassic Park IP.

I believe Universal is using the JW Dominion Rexy design going forward. It was on the art cards for the 30th 4k blu ray. Even X-Plus’s new model kit used the JW Rexy for a JP scene. After all, Colin Trevorrow did go back to the old Stan Winston CG models in order to update her design. I think she looks great.

i realize im about 4 month to late to really comment anything that people will notice however i just wanted to say your game looks spectacular and as a jurassic park superfan whose been inlove with the series since i was a little kid i couldnt tell you how much i appriciate the details and dedication youve shown, keep up the fantastic work!
First of all im so very sorry that this happened to you man that your fan made game got cancelled by universal studios itself and i wouldve love to play the finish product of said game and idk hopefully maybe like for late 2024 like September or December or 2025 maybe releasing your game cause for what it is it looks good for being fan made...
Just know we are all here for you to support in any way we can... Hopefully we can salvage this fan made game of yours for Jurassic fans to play... And not have it be abandoned like the dinos and people apparently in the Jurassic franchise as a whole and especially not have it be like the cancelled tremors series for the syfy channel that was bringing back kevin bacon and only proof for that is that trailer...

Honestly, you should release what you have on Dreams now and move on. It will give us a taste at two things, who you are as a game studio and an establishment of your new brand Krestacious Kingdom. To continue to work on the Dreams platform is a waste of time in terms of a long term goal. You really should be building your new IP/brand with consistant semi weekly video uploads and learning the Unreal Engine by building content for your new IP there. Both of these will accomplish long term goals. I know this will be hard to swallow given the amount of time and success achieved with Dreams but now they are holding you back. Work on long terms goals and the future is Unreal Engine. Love your work! And more importantly you as a creator. Your community will support you!
When I read the description, I at first thought this was going to be a similar situation to Metroid: Samus Returns where it's debated that the reason why AM2R was taken down was because Nintendo was already making a remake of Metroid 2 (in hindsight, it was because they hate fangames and abused copyright).
It goes to show that blessings in disguise truly do happen. Now we the AAA console JP game that I've been screaming for since the PS1 days, plus we still get Cretaceous Kingdom. Thanks for the update; I've been worried since your Dreams release has been MIA every time I would check in on my PS4 Pro.

Although I am very happy that we're getting an official JP first-person game, I am very happy that JP: Operations is still being made. It is too early to say whether JP: Survival will be a hit, but I am pretty sure that Cretaceous Kingdom is going to be amazing from all of the work and care put into it, and the passion for the JP series demonstrated on the channel. Kudos, and keep it up!
That logo is extremely good. I love the color and the glow. Also there’s a bit of a typo with the word “THEIRS” in the video but it’s not a big deal or anything, just thought you should know.

I have concerns about JP Survival. The few gameplay moments they showed us seemed scripted or pre-animated. On-rails survival games kind of defeat the purpose for me. I want to explore and have a different experience for the first few playthroughs. Not a guided tour through a nostalgia museum where I relive the films. But maybe that's asking too much from the technology.
So it looked like an interactive movie more than a survival game. But I'll reserve an opinion until we see more...in the coming years?
Its possible it'll be like the Long Dark with a story and linear progression side and a free roam mode. Or there's certain items you need from set locations and these moments are around those every time.
It's like Alien Isolation.

For me it doesn't matter what title the game has. More important is the level of detail graphics good storyline and to catch the atmosphere i think your videos before have proven that. You could also put in some Dino crisis related themes facilities etc if universal keeps the pressure high. No matter what you make keep it up this is a day 1 buy we will do whatever possible to support you

I'll definitely play Cretaceous Kingdom, though it still sucks that it had to be changed. And while I'm sure JP Survival has been under development for a while, I'd say they definitely ripped off several aspects of your trailer in theirs. And I won't lie, their reveal trailer didn't hit me with that "magical" feeling like yours did. The way Jurassic Park should make you feel. And tbh, ripping off several elements of your trailer in theirs after they hit you with a cease and desist is pretty friggin' hypocritical of them 😂
How did they rip-off aspects? Both games are meant to be survival type games so naturally they would have similarities.

Your version is definitely build off of love and passion. And I'm gunna go ahead and say it I think your responsible for them creating survival.
Just saw the trailer. I think it’s an interesting, making a game where we have some personnel still on the island, like how they did the Telltale game a few years back. But, I’ll have to hold my breath til the game actually comes out. Because while I’m a HUGE JP fan, I feel like when someone tries to do a game based on a franchise like this it might fall short of what everyone was expecting. But, I’m excited nonetheless. Your game on the other hand looks amazing! The detail you put into it and figuring out everything before you put it into the game is why I’m always a fan of Indie games.

I think it would be a great idea if you created an add-on, i.e. a texture mod or something, that turns Cretaceous Kingdom into Jurassic Park operations, but of course, people would have to download this add-on from your channel.
Dude you were pretty much the first thing I thought of after I first saw the trailer. I’m sure in a roundabout way it was a bittersweet moment for you, like a simultaneous feeling of excitement while being kicked in the nuts, but I applaud you for staying positive and handling it all with grace rather than feeling like everything you’ve done was pointless. It wasn’t. What Saber will eventually put out and what you will eventually put out will be different games, even if the themes and other aspects have similarities. Obviously there’s will be more polished, but if you can manage to make half the game, hell even 1/10th of the game they put out while they quite literally have 1000x the resources you do, that speaks volumes to your ability, tenacity and character. Keep on keeping on my guy.
It took them long enough to finally catch on to what we want, but at the same time since your a fan I feel like you have a better feeling for what fans really want. I can't wait to play Cretaceous Kingdom when it comes out! I know love your story telling. I'm not sure yet how Universal's portrayal is going to truly be. The trailer was awesome but they've let me down in the past whereas you have always been Top notch!
