@@MisterBanaszak Just asking because I have 500+mi on my Patton, but I ride only urban streets with it, a curb drop here or there but no jumping. So far it's been a wonderful experience. I'm a heavy rider and while speed is not my thing, the available power for under 25mph maneuvers is very comforting.
thanks for your review, tossing up between this and the hero. The hero looks to be a pain to work on; I'm sold :) What are the things you are putting over your shocks for protection from dirt?
@@MisterBanaszak yes but, would like to see them on the wheel or you putting them on and what that looks like. Looks like diy but maybe accordion style rubber fork sleeves would be better suited for that.
Nice! I'm considering the Mini, too (currently have a T4). Did you weigh the parts you removed? I wonder if a bit of rubber between the light and the battery case might be a good idea for vibration?
It does not vibrate… Till now I really like the wheel! No for me the wheel is really balanced and not heavy especially off-road where u feel it the most, so onroad u should be fine and give a more stable feel from the weight… u feel it when u pick it up!
U can use them both… if u do very difficult technical trails I would suggest 16inch and it has more torque and nimbleness… it’s still stable onroad but not on high speeds… there is no perfect wheel! So if u do easy off-road trails and more streets go for 20inch
Hi, i was wondering if I have a defective wheel or is it just how it is... I can repeatadly bottom out my mini, even just jumpimg of a quater meter drop, I'm 75 kg and when i put all my weight into the landing, I feel a rough stop of the suspension. Have you noticed it too? It seems to happen mostly if you ride on a lot of small bumps, which use too much suspension and the rebound just can,t keep up. Even once I set up the fastest rebound and no rebound bypass the problem remains. Is it just how the wheel is, or shoud I set up something different?
Ok is this all the time? Then u should look at the 2 little side screws of the battery boxes… Sometimes it’s not a perfect fit and if the wheel is new it needs to settle in? Try loosen them up abit and look if the suspension travel is smoother while not on the wheel… It should go really smooth and if not it’s the sliders that are not inline perfectly! Hope this helps for u?
@@MisterBanaszak the thing is, the suspension feels amazing, it just bottoms out to easy for my liking. I will try the screws thing, i will also install some suspension o-rings just to se how much of it i'm using
@mikoajzeman3 with 75kg it should not bottomout… because my friend is 100kg and he does big drops and no bottomouts so easy! Think u don’t have enough oil in the suspension maby?
@MisterBanaszak ah ok...I had a used mini before, I liked it but sold it. I have the extreme bc its new but honestly, the mini felt really good on the street really quick. If they put a smart bms on the mini ill probably buy it again, I just love how it's all metal.
The trolley handle seems flimsy, is it possible to replace with aftermarket handle?
No idea… but it’s easy to access so I think is doable!
Can you put an inner tube in tire?
Yes I allready did in an other video!
Nice review! And great idea about removing the trolley handle
Less sh*t to break 😏
Is it narrower than the Patton? Why do you think your Patton suspension kept leaking?
Was a demo unit and bad quality I think…
It’s narrow the mini and need to put good pads first

It’s not really needed and I made something to put in the back behind the suspension! U can see this in the video…

What I learned from experience is that the dirt is not really a problem because of the dust seal that works nicely…

What size of wheel is better for 50/50 off road/city?

@@MisterBanaszak That is a probability. Just to be sure, I have the grey knob all the way unscrewed and the hidden one all the way tightened.
@mikoajzeman3 the knob on the right when u stand on the wheel u turn with the clock all the way and left side counterclockwise
what was the weight difference?
Not much but I don’t have the extra cnc grey bars on the front and back…
I never trolley so I just removed it!

@andyl2991 yes the mini out of the box was solid! Good build and nice suspension…
Hey love the video how did you adjust your suspension?
Everything clockwise is the softest setting except the rebound u should put it in the middle!
I will make a video soon if it’s needed!
Just to let u know u should open it up and tighten all the bolts and screw I have the mini for 3month and it’s all loosened
Thanks for the advice! Will do this and locktide all bolts that are loose…
with all that weight reduction, you should be able to jump at least 0.8 mm longer now! 🤣
Haha yes it’s all a mind game 😂
