I hope you get well soon. You are a good person sharing all this information. I am praying for every health issue to be gone for you. You are helping people like me stay positive and what you said is true its not easy to get this off your mind without support. I appreciate all the videos.
My dad was diagnosed with portal hypertension in his liver due to a blood clot in his liver. And early onset liver cirrhosis in late December. Now after cleaning up his diet and drinking milk thistle every day his blood work came back perfect and the dr said his blood clot is completely gone. The dr said idk what you’re doing but keep doing it and now he only has to do one check up a year.
Hello neal, i have liver disease, tired a lot of the time with a feeling of nausea, i have kidney damage, heart failiar and varaceas, of course i get depressed but since i have given up, my head is not so dun in and i feel a little bit healthier. Stay strong and may your god be with you. ❤
Heavenly Father, We come before You today, lifting up Neal, who is battling end-stage liver cirrhosis. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon him. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we ask that You bring Neal comfort during this difficult time. Father, we know that You are the great physician and that You are able to heal all wounds. We humbly ask for Your healing touch upon Neal’s body, but most of all, we ask for Your peace to fill his heart, as it is said, “The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace” (Psalm 29:11). Let him feel Your presence with him every step of the way. As Neal walks this challenging path, help him to remember Your promise: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). Let him trust in Your strength and not be overwhelmed by fear or despair. We pray that Neal’s family and friends also feel Your love and comfort during this time. Give them the strength to support him, and may their hearts be filled with hope, knowing that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we thank You for Your unending love and faithfulness. No matter what happens, we know that Neal is in Your hands, and nothing can separate him from Your love, as Your Word declares: “Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers…will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39). In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
Neil (I hope I spelled that correctly. Microsoft word has been no friend to my spelling abilities over the years!), I want to tell you how impressed I am with your upbeat and positive disposition in the face of your challenge. You are probably blessing more people than you could ever imagine. I am not sure if you are religious or not, but I wanted to share a couple of links with you about faith. The lower the score the better. The highest it can go is 40 and the lowest is 6. Transplants won't look at you until you reach 15. MELD stands for Model End Stage Liver Disease
@irishkk88 NO. @Edshater is right. I mean, sometimes it does, but usually, you have to be in the 30s or more, and an implant is imminent. A lot of times, it goes down. In RARE cases, it can reverse some
My doctor asked me to get your Liver function test done after seeing my chest xray, he believes my liver is pushing through my lungs.. I am not sure though as I don't have notable symptoms.. I don't know what to do ?

PAH occurs in people with portal hypertension, owing to cirrhosis, so that condition could very well be related to your cirrhosis.

I know that this is an off the cuff. What does a meld score of 13 mean?

Does it progressively get worse, even if you stop drinking? @@Thatdudefresh
