Tonight we continue the progress on the 1955 Belair. I got the frame back from my painter and wanted to get this thing on the ground. I need to assemble the frame and Ridetech air suspension to see how I can route fuel and brake lines. This car is really coming together and is by far my favorite in the garage. I can't explain in words how much I Love the Look of a Lowered or bagged 55 Chevy Belair. I think the Ridetech suspension will be fun and this thing is going to be a blast to cruise around in. In my opinion this is the perfect stance. We also got the New Billet Specialties wheels on. 18s in the Front and 20s in the Back. The wheels are billet specialty legends. 20x10 in the rear with factory Tubs. Follow along as we have a lot to do on this thing. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

Oh Boy, you couldn't buy a better built new car!! When you started this project I recommended buying a new chassis, man was I wrong. You are going to have blast with this machine, you won't want to shut it off. Everything you are doing with her is the way it should be done. Great to see you so excited! That’s sometimes what it takes to get motivated to continue. Just think there’s plenty more to look forward to on this project I.e.the sound the LS will make ( hope it has at least a little chop to it) the first drive, etc. This is going to be a knockout when completed, it has everything going for it… color, wheels and now stance!

That looks sharp as a pencil... Take your time with the project build.. and do it rite with the correct bolts and hardware.. wait till you powder coat the frame.. your going to be nervous using a floor jack to lift it up after it's powder coated...👍🌲

Are you going to put a modern style gauge cluster on the '55?
Not sure yet.
Did you get the clearance on the driver side with the upper control arm and steering box ? Thought that once you were able to pull in the box all the way, that it would fit. I ask cuz I got the exact same setup from Ridetech only coilovers and not air, just haven’t installed it yet. I highly recommend the CPP 500 steering box, very nice. I have the exact same color and all…thought I was looking at my car ! lol…nice stance btw…was that at ride height or in the weeds at the end ? GL !
