I'm the dad that got the benefit of both your shop and the machine shop's attention to detail. Thanks to you and my fantastic family I will have a memory that will last forever. I can't believe you and my son-in-law and daughter accomplished this in such a short time. Thanks to all who were involved!!!
It was an honor to be part of the whole thing. One of my favorite cars. Thank you very much for taking the time to comment and watch this video! We appreciate you and your family very much! Glad you were able to enjoy it again!
I'm glade you get to enjoy this special machine and take it out to meet people. I'm shire every where you go you get thumbs up or people want to have a conversation about your car.
Happy for you. My dad had the exact car in Canada. Scrapped it for $200 because he couldn't find brakes for it. I was 5 yrs old he still talks about it today at 85 yrs old.
Great job! We appreciate all you did and working with our timeline! Seeing how happy my dad was these past few days was so worth it. He had to get in and tinker around with everything and has watched this video several times with a huge grin on his face. My mom was so emotional...she loved having all of us together and seeing how happy it made my dad. We can't wait to put it in a few car shows and just enjoy some riding around in it!
Awesome! I'm glad we could be part of it! Thank you very much for the opportunity to work on it! It is definitely an awesome care with a lot of history! Glad it's back on the road!
Wow! You guys did an awesome job on my brother’s car! It was so awesome to get to ride in it again and see him behind the wheel. I was 15 years old when I first drove it and my brother taught me how to drive that three on the tree! I’m now 65 years old. Seeing his face light up was priceless. Thank you for getting the car ready so quick so our family could share the memories together.
Thank you very much for watching and commenting! We appreciate the opportunity and this was one of our favorite cars! Glad you could all enjoy the car once again!
My friend has the exact same car! A black '57 Belair 2dr hardtop that he hasn't driven since march of 1968 when he blew up the bored and stroked Pontiac mill. His kids are working on it now, bringing it back, too.
Great story! Our 57's been in the family since 1985, currently going thru a second makeover. Part of the family, all our kids were raised with it being around.
Incredible video Brothers. Thanks for sharing. Glad you got your dad's car. She's a beauty. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT
Thats black on black. The money shot. That car never lost its value .broken down its worth over 10 grand. Matching block too? Good car. I was very impressed
I use a stamp punch to number the caps on the rods that way if your going to reuse the rods all of them will be labeled. If you can find the plastic pop bottle crates that the pop trucks use they work great to keep the pistons in their position without them being mixed up

Why does everybody assume black oil is bad? The oil absorbs all the stuff out of the motor that's why you have to change it.
Which makes it bad.
