2019 Alaska Cruise Noordam Holland America

A "first-time-cruiser" flies to Anchorage, boards the Noordam in Seward, travels south for 7 days to Vancouver. He walks through the various decks, restaurants, lounges, stores, and other areas throughout the ship. I did the reverse of you. I boarded the Noordam in Vancouver and got off in Seward. Then I went onto Mt. Denali for three days before coming to Anchorage and flying home.

We didn't make the Denali area, but spent almost a week in Anchorage... there's so much to see and do right there in the city.

Thank you so much for doing this awesome tour. We are looking at taking this cruise on this ship next year. Just getting started. Were you able to pick your room prior to paying? I'm on HA's website and it's not letting us select an exact room before wanting us to pay. You should make a cruise tips video!

We had an inside cabin.. they all look alike for the most part. We were just one floor down from the spa, near the front of the front of the ship. It was number 811, and were surprised by the amount of room inside, storage area, and bath area.

Isn't the Upper Vista Dining Room included in the cruise fare?

I asked and was told there was an extra charge, so I actually don't know. I suggest you ask yourself.
