It always breaks my heart when kids die. They had no saying, no way of obtaining necessary survival skills for the area, no knowledge of tyres, cars and f*cking what. It shouldn’t amaze me how void of empathy people can be anymore at my age, but it still does.
What if they never actually got lost? I mean everything was going well until they reached the Death Valley. What are the chances of the children being abducted in the middle of nowhere? I mean the children’s bodies were never found, just the remains of two adults. What if the minivan was left on purpose in the middle of nowhere to make it look like the family got lost but in reality the two children got abducted and the adults were left to die having no use of them, ever thought of that? I may be wrong, I’m just saying what if, I mean more then ever in 2020 society is starting to realize that abductions occur more often now. Nevertheless may they Rest In Peace.

I always felt that they really admired our desert regions but did not have an appreciation for how it can easily become lethal. My family and I have been going to brittany for our camping summer holidays for over six years now. Two years ago we went on a daytrip to the Brocéliande forest and took a wrong turn at an intersection. We found ourselves at exactly that castle. You can imagine my shock of seeing a place, I had thought to be completely normal, except for the fact that it's a pretty sick castle, to appear in this video!

The Death Valley Germans is such a heart breaking story those two boys, young children depending on the adults to care for them, dying in such an awful way it just breaks my heart. I realize that they have no terrain like that in Germany but it makes me angry to think that their father and step mother took them out into that horrendous place to have their lives stolen away and where they died in such an incredibly appalling way, I weep for those children.
That dirt mound looks exactly like a large dumper dropped it off. There are still green treesat the foot of it, i think its a pile of some kind of radioactive waste.

I'd never heard of the Hanbury crater before the beginning of this week and now I've seen two separate videos about it, without even specifically searching for it. When I was a kid, our Elementary school a block away, had a gas leak all weekend while it was locked up, and at 4 am on monday morning, an automatic pilot light came on, blowing the entire thing sky high, blowing out windows for blocks around. It was so intense that my sister and I were thrown out of our beds by the concussion. It was the early 60s, and every adult thought we had been hit by a nuclear bomb. There was a huge mushroom cloud and flames going 100s of feet up. Our neighbors were running around outside in curlers and boxer shorts screaming bloody murder.
Dear God. That's an incredibly intense experience to live through.

It is possible that as massive as the explosion was it didn’t destroy the entire facility. If the construction was such that not even all the munitions were detonated then it is possible that there could have been survivors
Lizza Angelis I agree it might not have destroyed the whole facility and may be survivors. What I fail to believe is EYE WITNESS was alive anyone within the close blast radius aka a EYE WITNESS would of died. survivors in the facility could well be true but I doubt any close eye witness that can 100% confirm, it is educated speculation I guess.
Well, he states “an inexperienced worker removed a detonator with a brass chisel instead of a wooden one. This was CONFIRMED by an eyewitness at the time of the explosion.” Sounds like the eyewitness isn’t only lucky, he must have used a telescope from over a mile away to see the inexperienced worker light the place up. A lot about these stories don’t make a whole lot of sense. Especially when they come from different sources all over the place.
I used to go on holiday to Brittany with my family every year. Around 2008-ish I think we were on holiday and got lost around the maze of country roads around Brittany and ended up driving right past the The Chateau, we had no idea what it was but it was incredibly creepy especially as it was late evening, and when we spoke to the people on the holiday site they had no idea where we were describing and I remember convincing myself it was a ghost castle and we wouldn't be able to find it again. I've not given it much thought for years, super weird for it to be on here!

Its been a while since being in that castle all I know is that I was there when I was about 23 maybe 26 but seeing a man or women in the halls. The castle has paintings of the family and the servants and its really nice, oh and make sure to sleep in the wife and husbands bedroom for ghostly experiences. But I may warn you to do so as 3 or 4 people died of unknown causes

I grew up in the next village along called Tutbury and we all as local kids spent our free days exploring the crater which by the 1990’s had security patrolling from the nearby Gypsum site at Fauld. Looking back now I see how dangerous it was and why the security didn’t want us in the crater. It was just seen as an adventure when you’re 10.

I heard of one of these dissaperances before , the Explore with us channel covered the death valley German's dissaperance before. I watched the video they made and they reported that that the children were never discovered. There was also alot more to the story.
Very sad. Maybe animals took the bodies. But no something struck me as very wrong. If i was a tourist lost in a foreign country I wouldn't take a "shortcut" and through a desert no less. 4 flat tires?!?
And common sense also says if the car breaks down you stay with it.

Those that don't think ghosts are real then I'd say you've never had a encounter with one. When i was younger I had a friend that had a old house and this house was built in away that didn't have the whole basement floor filled in with concrete. The original owner of this house who was a immigrant from Germany died in the home back in the 1800's. The family didn't have money to give him a proper burial so he was buried in the basement. Years later he was dug up given a proper burial and the house was modernized for that time. Fast forward to the 1980's early 90's and a friend of mines mom bought the house. An abundance of strange things happened to make her question her sanity,eventually she started doing research on the house and found out the above mentioned things about the previous owner . I was at the house and seen the TV change channels right in front of me,thing was it was a old floor model push button that didn't have a remote ,doors open and close,things literally floating in the air. They knew the ghosts name and would call it by name and tell him to stop doing things that would scare them. The house caught on fire in the late 90's and that was the last time they ever "seen" him. Actually you couldn't physically see the ghost. Well that was my experience,and I've never had another "encounter" in my life.
