I'm showing my age but I remember watching unsolved mysteries about the light on the train tracks.
That show started my interest in true crime! It scared the crap out of me as a kid though.

I grew up with Unsolved Mysteries in the late 80s into the mid-nineties and enjoyed having Robert Stack scare the living hell out of me on a weekly basis, and I remember the Gurdon ghost light story quite vividly. That was an incredible show and I've watched some of the new episodes but they just aren't the same without Robert's voice narrating the stories.

How is tested blood categorized as neither animal nor human, yet Type-O, exactly?
Basically all blood cells are spheres/ balls and type A, B, and AB negative and positive cells have little shapes sticking out of the spheres (different shapes for different types). However, type O blood cells have no attached shapes and are smooth spheres. Not sure how they determined if its animal or human blood, or neither, but thats how you tell blood cell types.
There's a ton of videos on youtube for basic blood typing.

Actually if u read the article @ 8:03 it says that it came back as HUMAN!!! Article says blood WAS human 2 or 3 times! Sooooo idk where the narrator came up with it "wasn't human from. The woman involved says in the article that she doesn't believe it was human no matter what the police say, but that's all I see.

Unexplainable event:
yesterday me and my mom were talking about life in the living room waiting for a repair man to fix the ceiling. He was coming in about 20 minutes and while talking we decided to close the door to my room where the fixing was needed, since it was open we didn’t want my cat to run out.
After a while of talking and watching tv we heard the door nob jingle as if someone was on the other side. We decided it was probably nothing and we’re just being stupid(keep in mind the door has been closed for a while through the years and Nobody has ever heard that door do that). After a while it did it again so we started getting a little spooked, this time the cat got scared and started staring at the door.
We talked and after a while the repair man came to fix it so he went in, checked it out and everything, walked back out to get his tools from the car and we all heard it move again, this time we all got up to see, and nothing. He told us that walking in and out of my room he got chills and felt something but didn’t say anything since it was probably nothing but after we all heard it, he told us.
We talked about that for a bit and discovered at least 4 people have died in our apartment plus me and my mom have had many other strange things happen. Weird stuff

Came back home from middle school to eat lunch, probably 2013, I took my shoes off, threw my bag and went to the kitchen to eat. I sat and started eating while watching RUclips videos about call of duty, I still remember the RUclipsr (402thunder402). At this time I didn’t have my cats, parents we’re working, and I’ve never been drunk or high meaning I was completely sober, also that day I wasn’t scared or watched a scary movie recently, no windows open, absolutely no excuses. So now I’m eating at the kitchen table and I hear something, I lift my head and see a knife on the kitchen counter slide across by itself for 4 seconds, at this time I was atheist so I didn’t panic and started finding a logical solution but I couldn’t think of anything, after this I quickly left.
I love the Devils Footprints, always found it creepy when in Topsham

I actually think it was a garden tool, just printed in the snow as a prank.
I first read about it in the early '80s. It still creepy.
The house I used to live in when I was about five was haunted. I used to wake in the middle of the night and hear creaks coming from across the hall near my parents room and occasionally some moans. I’d ask my parents if they heard it in the morning and they said it was probably just the old house creaking. One night I heard the noises and what sounded like footsteps down the hall. When it stopped I went to the toilet and there was a weird white glue-like substance on the floor. I managed to take some in a small container and still have it to this day.

I’ve never heard of this Black Flash. Good job finding a fresh story. Also, there was a sniper in Manhattan in the 1980’s. The shots came from a hotel across the street from Pennsylvania Station, which was a major train depot. Love the clever children who thought up the boiling water!
I think the footprints we’re left by a more logical explanation:-
1. Giant pigeons
2.Emus
3.Snow loving seagulls
4. As stated previously within these comments, my mother-in-law.

Theory: phantom sniper was just a very high grade (for the era) slingshot
If you use marbles, they’re made of glass, and the shattered glass could easily hide the evidence. I have a slingshot made from rubber plastic and metal that costed 30 USD from a Outdoor shop in Maine. My uncle hunted animals with marbles that varied in size. I’ve seen the damage it can do to a wild buck. That’s just my theory.
I was thinking that or could something that would melt such as ice pellet under high pressure/speed could possibly cause damage and leave no evidence 🤷🏼♀️

Get an ad-blocker. They're inexpensive, even free, and they work. The only ones you'll have to put up with are the sponsor commercials embedded in the videos by the sites themselves. *EDIT:* I just "renewed" my AdBlock coverage, which asks a reasonable fee: whatever you can afford, but with suggested levels. I gave them a nice chunk and renewed at about half that, as things are tighter now. At the top of my screen is their red octagonal "stopsign" with an upraised white palm in the universal "Stop!) and it says it's blocked six ads since I logged onto RUclips. Stay safe.

That 2nd story !! I read about it as a kid in Australia as a teenager and finally got to Devon in 2015. Frustratingly absolutely no one in Devon knew what I was talking about but all were interested once I started to tell them. I hadn't heard about the balloon though. Great story.

The Devils footprints are squirrels. I've seen them in the snow and their two hindlegs make a similar shape to a cloven hoof.

Hi, looking for a story I saw on top 5’s involving an ex marine who was driving through San Bernardino and came across a set up car accident but found it fishy and drove past to find the people on the ground were all right and got up along with a crowd of people on either end of the road. I know exactly which story you're talking about but u don't remember which vid its in. I've seen it scattered across a handful of different channels. Its deffinetly one of my favorites.

if animals had compatible blood types they could be blood donors for humans. I know it was mentioned that the blood is neither human nor animal but my point is that animal blood is closer to human than something else.

The first tale makes me think of "the Ghost Light" from Radiator Springs.
The first story is heard down south, pretty much where ever there are railroad tracks. You indicate the tracks are near a freeway. If there are ponds or even standing water, the headlights from the freeway can bend and be reflected off of standing water. It's always a decapitated railroad worker.....

I'm from North Carolina and in Maco, N.C we have a phenomenon that is almost identical. The historical facts are that there was a man named Joe Baldwin who saw a train coming coming and he was decapitated when he sacrificed himself trying to keep the two trains from colliding by waving his lantern back and forth from the caboose of the train. The tracks are no longer there and I am pretty sure it's fairly difficult to get to the spot where you are suppose to be able to see the light swinging back and forth.
Maybe the "Devil's footprints" were actually made by Spring Heeled Jack?

@Philip Nope, O is the most common blood group. The rarest is AB-.
The Black Flash was probably some young prankster terrorising a town for a couple of years then one day when chasing a bunch of kids, the kids poured boiling hot water on him, he probably couldn't go to get treated because he'd get arrested as his identity would be blown so instead he decided to go home and tend to his wounds.
Depending on how badly he was burned and it could have been really badly (i still have burn marks from a really bad hot coffee spill 9 years ago), he decided that it was time to hang up his black flash outfit and quit while he still had unburnt skin remaining.
Grew up in Gurdon, Ar. Visited the light many times & from my experience(s), it’s something out there. The tracks have been taken up though so it’s not as popular as it once were plus Gurdon is a town of like maybe 120 people at the most. The bigger mystery is the town Gurdon itself. Something creepy about that little town.
