Pale Morning Star is another masterpiece by them! I strongly recommend it.
The intro song “The primeval dark” blends really well with this song on the album

Insomnium are the best band from Finland right now. Everything they do is perfect.

Well, that's up for a debate. Plenty of Finnish metal bands that are legendary.
Insomnium, Dark Tranquillity and Draconian, the kings of melancholy and sorrow
DT is rather upbeat in some songs. I would say Katatonia.
"Weighed Down With Sorrow" by Insomnium is my all time favorite song. It's so full of emotion. (The track is dedicated to the songwriter / guitarist of Sentenced who died of a sudden heart attack caused by genetic heart disease)
Insomnium is one of the best Finnish metal bands - this song to me is gorgeous, and the lyrics are beautiful

Never heard of them? They are the finnish poets of melodeath. There are very good bands out there in the world, who are making excellent metal, but the high level of melody, meaning and force makes these guys unique. They are amazing and its a true blessing to live in this day and age, when you can listen to them constantly.

You guys should give Black Crown Initiate a shot. Invitation, Years in Frigid Light, or Belie the Machine.
Yeah they definitely need to give BCI a listen. If they do Years In Frigid Light, it has to be the album version rather than the rough cut from 2019 they released which didn't sound anywhere near as good as the final product.
Yeah, BCI are sweet as hell. I got a softspot for stench of the iron age!

Love this band first Love was Amon Amarth so when I heard you reference them I instantly subscribed. I've listened to everything they have up to the last couple of albums. Their best riff in my opinion is "across the rainbow bridge", check it out. MOST IMPORTANTLY

Masters of melancholy, they make some really special music. Crying while headbanging is a thing, lol. The Conjurer or Pale Morning Star would be a good next song choice.
my favorite band for the better part of the last 15 years. they're just so fuckin good. definitely recommend checking out an early song to get some heavier vibes, something like "Drawn to Black", especially.

Seven Spires was set to tour the USA with Insomnium, but Covid killed that. You two should check them out. "Drowner of Worlds" for something more extreme, and "Succumb" for something more melodic. Great band with strong elements of Power, Symphonic, Gothic, and Black Metal.

gotta love Insomnium. If you dig this you should really check out In Vain - Floating on the Murmuring Tide, its an absolute masterpiece, and might give you some unexpected but cool surprises :D

Please react to Dark Tranquillity. Absolutely amazing band. Their whole catalogue is fantastic. I would start with "Forward Momentum" or "The Dark Unbroken" if you like a more somber feeling. If you want something angry and energetic, "Lost to Apathy". :)

You had to listen to Primeval dark blend to this one. The song prepares you delicately and the introduction to the scale is very inticing, it lures you into it, and then when this song breaks you kind of know what you're in for the rest of the album. Just my take, While we sleep is my favorite song of all time. PS, just don't listen to the live stage rendition of it here on youtubes.. They missed the plot completely

when people dont have idea about music ofc they can say that the middle part of the song was too long...seriously my friend WTH are you talking about.the clean part of the song is the best part which should be even longer,from the other hand chorus is a bit boring and repeating .slow chorus should be last less because they making the song boring after some plays.
