Thank you both for being brave enough to share your journey. It amazes me that we spend most of our lives avoiding pregnancy or fearing it due to circumstance but are never taught or told just how difficult it can be, the conversation of fertility really needs to be normalised so I thank you both for your selflessness in discussing this deeply personal and traumatic period of your lives.
My own story is similar, we tried for three years naturally before we saw our NHS fertility consultant who suggested IVF, however, we had a miracle and got pregnant naturally as we were waiting for referral to the clinic. Our beautiful baby girl was born in Nov 2022 and she has completed us.
I never normally comment and have been a silent watcher for a long time but I just wanted to thank you both, say a huge congratulations on your impending bundle and share my hope for you both that the weight of this journey lifts the moment you meet your precious baby. Enjoy every second once they arrive, time really does whizz by all too quickly xx

You will be helping so many people to understand what is involved.
It’s so good to know that your journey has resulted in a pregnancy….you will both make amazing parents.

Thank you for sharing, it’s so important to raise awareness of infertility. I found out via a HSG, after trying to conceive for 3 years, that both my tubes were blocked and told my only option was an operation and they would remove both tubes. IVF was then my only option. It was an absolutely horrendous time of my life so I completely empathise with what you have been through. I did eventually conceive after 4 rounds of IVF and now have an amazing 5 year old little boy, but it changed me and my whole life as I always wanted more than one child but now I have had to accept he will be my only one.

Woah.I can completely empathise .as i had a hysteroscopy .along with my laparoscopy .as my periods were so long and heavy and painful. That showed i had fibroids embedded into my womb and ,whilst i conceived later ,the baby wouldn`t (4 mnths) survive and is was the foreign body in my womb (as was explained to me). Mine was all done on the NHS ,so ,theyre not all horrific experiences. However ,i was lucky in that we`d really completed our family .this baby was unexpected. You know is lovely to watch this video now ,knowing you have your longed for little one on the way.So so happy for you guys.❤❤❤

Had the same experience with the NHS. Got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis on the day of my colonoscopy (literally whilst I was still on the table lol) and sent away, then had to chase a YEAR later to ask for any sort of follow up? The NHS is fantastic, we are so lucky to have it, but it should never be free from criticism because of this! At the end of the day, it’s a service we pay for.

Thankyou for sharing the pre IVF part of your journey. I can emphasise completely with just wanting answers and that desperation to have knowledge and progression. We are TTC our rainbow and every month is a month too long. So glad things are going well ❤

It is so expensive my aunt says it's so much more so these days as every year costs rise for anything and everything these days 🙄 all that matters is the little baby end goal worth all the stress 👏😄💖
