I have a hack for getting the white backing. Duplicate your image as a basic cut to be cut out on white htv. Giving you a silhouette of image to press your dtf image on top of. This allows you to user on color shirts and the color pop on non fabrics.
You are doing it all wrong you will have to encrease the time and the temp and if you are using a sublimation printer you will have to use coffee mugs that have a special sublimation coating not a mug from the dollar tree I do sublimation all the time
I want to say thank your for trying this out because it was a question of mine and I come here to YTUniversity for all things new. I appreciate you!

Thank you! I tried to do my fireplace glass with the same result. I'd like to know how people are doing it too.
Try wiping the mug off with alcohol first then press the image.
I use laminate sheets on the dollar tree mugs, it turned out pretty good.
I'm going to try it on glass etched with armor etch
Amazing video! Super informative! Thanks!!!
The comments are missing the point that she's trying out the dft hack. It uses sublimation ink with the dtf adhesive powder to stick it to the mug.
Hi Fefe. What kind of files are your images? SVGs, pngs any special kind of clip art?
Hey Linda. They are mostly pngs. Most I found on Canva.
Love the design. Did you design it or get it somewhere?
Mostly from designbundles.com. I will see if I can link them in the description. Thanks for asking.
you have to add the sublimation coating first
Ceramics need longer cook time.
hey sister the time and heat both needs to be increased
Thanks. Lol. I am not sure if I am willing to try again. But I will definitely keep that in mind.
I tried this dtf hack on a mug......😂😂😂. It ended up just peeling off.
that is becouse you need more time five min at 400 F and if you are using a sublimation printer you will need sublimation coated mugs

Thanks for the information Oscar. This is a hack for DTF printing using sublimation ink so i purposely chose a mug without sub coating on it.
