"can i turn into animal?" "can i fly?" "can i become wolf?" that all of he's think is become one of his traits in the future... as a Shapeshifter... as LOKI... LOL
Spoiler: Listen at 3:36 "You sure I can't turn into a wolf?" is not there by coincidence. At the end of the game it's revealed that Atreus is actually Loki. According to Norse mythology, Loki is the father of Fenrir the wolf, who is said to kill Odin during Ragnarok.
This was such a bad ass moment. I love when he says, "can i turn into an animal?" And kratos answers him back,in way where he almost seems relieved that it was such a childish response. Amazing.
The soundtrack when he says : "I'm a God boy, from another land..." that piece of music earns the entire scene specially for the faces of Kratos flashbacking with us into the other 3 games
Oh my god for the first time Kratos bring down the barriers in his father son bonding🤣 playing god of war since the first game never thought Kratos would ever be like this
The real reason why Kratos didnt tell atreus that he was a god, is that he didnt want atreus to experience what kratos did in his childhood, but Kratos was wrong, instead of anger and regret that he would get from his son, what he got was a humour of a peaceful child, "Can I fly? Can I turn into an animal?"
Ro Van 5 min later that peaceful child kills an unarmed god. And he has lack of everything and anyone. Even 5 min later he shoots his own father. Loki is no good boy
Inoticed that too. The wonder and curiosity of a child completely caught him off guard and you could feel the tension fall and turn the a nice father/son moment taking about being awesome.
True, but he is still a child, once he hits the teenage years all bets are off whether that complex will resurface worse than ever or he will actually heed his fathers advice and warning.
I'm just glad that Atreus took it so well. I was a little worried at first, but as soon as I heard him ask, "Can I turn into an animal?" I smiled on the inside. I have a feeling Kratos did too.
Atreus: I don't feel like a god. Kratos: When you get extremely pissed, like a Spartan, and start going on a complete god killing rampage, then you'll feel like a god... killer. That's what I did. And that's probably the only ability you will have. But it's a damn good one. Atreus: ... Kratos: You are quiet again.
Atreus: ... I was just thinking.... What happens during sex? Kratos: wha- what? Sex? Boy. You are not of age Atreus: I know, I just want to be prepare for when that time comes. So I won't disappoint Freya Kratos: ...... Hmm... Sex. As a God, when you have sex, red orbs come out everywhere Atreus: Um... Oh. Ok
Atreus: Dad, will I be extremely powerful when I learn how to use my god powers? Kratos: Yes, boy... For about an hour. Then you will either be dropped off a cliff or forced to use a sword that will drain most, if not all, of your life essence and magical abilities, forcing you to start from scratch and find dozens of eyeballs and feathers to become powerful again. This will happen approximately 2 times. Atreus: ... Why?
Aterus: I don't have any experience in having sex Kratos: Dont worry boi, you will be given button combos to guide you. My favurite one is triangle, square, then vigorously shake the analogue to finish them off Aterus: ........ Kratos: too much??
I just adore kratos confusion at the innocence and randomness of that conversation. He’s contemplating what it means to be a god and Atreus is just wondering what cool stuff he can do
The lightning came from the tooth of a dragon rubbed on the bow. As far as I know Atreus is pretty durable for a kid and can jump at a farther distance than a normal person can. Oh also Atreus has spartan rage.
As someone said those came from another source. He didn't show any real powers in the gsme outside of Spartan Rage, strength and durability. But with him being half God and half giant I'm sure he'll have some abilities
Well, big freaking spoilers here, do not say I didn’t warn you: according to mythology the kid will be able to shapeshift and use magic, and of course he is a master trickster,
darcel francis well the giants are weird, not all of them were giants, and some of them were also gods, the aesir and vanir are gods but it seems that it's because they became jottun, so there is a chance atreus is a norse God, but it seems that his mom is not a godly giant, so he probably is just a normal giant
Lymar Costanilla Atreus: You were god of what? Kratos: God of War Atreus: Now everything makes sense Atreus: But I also should be called the god of Death for the 4th times I die and came back.
So hey small detail that I might have missed out son. Yeah ummmmmmm so I'm Kratos the God of War and once I was so pissed I killed everyone on Mount Olympus because I could. Okay let's go champ.

**One of the most dramatic scenes, in the God Of War saga, where Kratos reveals their godhood to his son** Shoulder pad at 1:56 : "Don't look at Atreus, look at me!"
Skip to 1:30 & you can see how much he doesn't want to tell his son the truth. He fears his son will react with the anger, resentment & what he calls the "curse of being a god." Even until he had no other choice. Then we see his reaction to his son's response, a clear feeling of both confusion to such a positive response as well as a flood of relief. It's probably the first time EVER in Kratos's life that his history/blood has turned out for the better & he gets it from the one person he loves & protects more than anything else in his past. Kratos: *Drops god reveal*
Atreus: ...Can I turn into an animal?
Kratos: Can you..."turn into an animal?"
*Seinfeld theme plays*
No, no i do not think so
The acting here is impeccable, the way Kratos says "i do not think so" conveys such a mixture of relief, disbelief, amusement, and fatigue
how the hell is Kratos a better father than goku?
King Kenji Kratos is around.
Kratos shows up
King Kenji the green alien that wanted to kill humans did a better job of raising his first son
Kratos is considerate enough to not die in front of his children multiple times.
Jian Ouyang Untrue 😂
I love that his first concern was if he can turn into an animal hahaha
Devin Isaacson they were talking about something serious and kratos was obviously waiting to see if the kid had any concerns about the matter and thats what he asked first. That's why i said it was "concern"
Well its his inner greek god coming to light
Edward Pimentel as per legend loki can turn into a wolf. Hence the significance
Well, Zeus could turn into animals and fucked a lot of people hahahah!!!
OneShallStandOneShallFall makes me wonder if he was into bestiality lol
"can i turn into animal?"
"can i fly?"
"can i become wolf?"
that all of he's think is become one of his traits in the future...
as a Shapeshifter... as LOKI...
LOL
"can I become a wolf"......huehuehue think about Loki's son, Fenrir..
Nematoda Rine Fenrir and the World Snake but Hela is a Human but no mortal
Spoiler:
Listen at 3:36
"You sure I can't turn into a wolf?" is not there by coincidence. At the end of the game it's revealed that Atreus is actually Loki. According to Norse mythology, Loki is the father of Fenrir the wolf, who is said to kill Odin during Ragnarok.
Why are you here if you dont want spoilers?
Nice
Was thinking the same too. Either he adopts a wolf pup in the next installment and it grows up to be Fenrir or Atreus shape-shifts into the wolf.
You piece of shit.
I came here for funny comments not a spoiler of the end of the game by some cunt.
JackDagnaIs the title of this video is itself a spoiler. You knew what you were getting in to.
This is how it happened this is how atreus became a prick
I think he was drunk too...
@@edmardisla8492 same, that Greek wine is no joke
@@edmardisla8492 especially cause he's tiny and like 11 🤣
Kratos: I'm a god boy.
Ya god damn right you are.
1st thing he ask "can i turn into an animal ?" Forshadowing the ending. If any know ending
Dylan R
It's funny, because he's actually can do this in the Norse mythology :D
I think almost all norse gods except Thor can shapeshift. some have fixed forms some don't
raynaldo arlen k.eman
See Sleipnir myth ;)
Dante McFarlane what makes it even funnier is Kratos's reaction to the question. He's like:
"Ok, what now?"😂
then he turns into a rat
This was such a bad ass moment. I love when he says, "can i turn into an animal?" And kratos answers him back,in way where he almost seems relieved that it was such a childish response. Amazing.
The soundtrack when he says : "I'm a God boy, from another land..." that piece of music earns the entire scene specially for the faces of Kratos flashbacking with us into the other 3 games
“You sure I can’t turn into a wolf?” Oh boy, just wait.
Kratos be all like "Oh, he's turning into a furry. Woe is me!"
Oh my god for the first time Kratos bring down the barriers in his father son bonding🤣 playing god of war since the first game never thought Kratos would ever be like this
Kaio Ushigami He did have a bit of soft spot for Pandora. And also his old family.
um pretty sure Kratos loved his daughter...
TheHarmony didnt mean people thought at the end of his murder spree he was going to have a kid again.
“Can I turn into an animal?”
Greatest tension killer ever!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Boy.
*B O I*
The real reason why Kratos didnt tell atreus that he was a god, is that he didnt want atreus to experience what kratos did in his childhood, but Kratos was wrong, instead of anger and regret that he would get from his son, what he got was a humour of a peaceful child, "Can I fly? Can I turn into an animal?"
Ro Van 5 min later that peaceful child kills an unarmed god. And he has lack of everything and anyone. Even 5 min later he shoots his own father. Loki is no good boy
Inoticed that too. The wonder and curiosity of a child completely caught him off guard and you could feel the tension fall and turn the a nice father/son moment taking about being awesome.
Atreus quickly afterwards developed a brief God complex. He was falling into the kind of arrogance the Olympians had.
Jericho Strayker but after they escaped from helheim loki loses his god complex and returned to being nice
True, but he is still a child, once he hits the teenage years all bets are off whether that complex will resurface worse than ever or he will actually heed his fathers advice and warning.
2:40 LMAO great......now he's going to start acting like Kanye
Ares Am I Yeezus 😂😂
"yall should stop playin wif god"
Atreus, I'm happy for you and imma let you finish but Aphrodite was the greatest goddess of all time. Of all time
Stephen Strange yooo I'm fucking dead 😂😂
lmao
I'm just glad that Atreus took it so well. I was a little worried at first, but as soon as I heard him ask, "Can I turn into an animal?" I smiled on the inside. I have a feeling Kratos did too.
I love how Kratos' fears about Atreus learning of his heritage seem subverted here, but they are realised in a different way as the story progresses.
“Can I turn into an animal.” The foreshadowing is crazy
Atreus:whats you godly power father?
Kratos:strength of 10 men...and anger issues.
Mini Panini 10? You mean 10000 man
*boi*
Wheather a man, God, or Demi God... one thing is for sure. Kratos is a badass
HIT(X)MARK
Damn fucking straight
Whether*
Regardless you are correct !
Sex? Boy. You are not of age
Atreus: I know, I just want to be prepare for when that time comes. So I won't disappoint Freya
Kratos: ...... Hmm... Sex. As a God, when you have sex, red orbs come out everywhere
Atreus: Um... Oh.
Atreus: ... Why?
D P was reading this in Kratos voice and the BOI voice lol
Aterus: I don't have any experience in having sex
Kratos: Dont worry boi, you will be given button combos to guide you. My favurite one is triangle, square, then vigorously shake the analogue to finish them off
Aterus: ........
Kratos: too much??
Kratos: dont worry BOI i have someone who well be your sex tutor.
Atreus: Who?
Aphrodite: I am.
2:05 the fact that Kratos didn’t overreact to the silly question shows growth on his part
I just adore kratos confusion at the innocence and randomness of that conversation. He’s contemplating what it means to be a god and Atreus is just wondering what cool stuff he can do
Atreus gift is the ligthing bolts from his bow and arrows
Zhengkang Vijaya could be
The lightning came from the tooth of a dragon rubbed on the bow.
Well, big freaking spoilers here, do not say I didn’t warn you: according to mythology the kid will be able to shapeshift and use magic, and of course he is a master trickster,
He's fucking loki
"I am a God boy" that's gotta be the greatest quote you'll ever hear any video game character say. Whoever did the VA for Kratos really nailed it.
Will, Loki is a Half-God, Half-Man and a another Half-Giant.
Which makes him 25% Man, 25% Greek God 50% Norse Giant.
Haxy Go Giant, he's part giant
No
:|
darcel francis well the giants are weird, not all of them were giants, and some of them were also gods, the aesir and vanir are gods but it seems that it's because they became jottun, so there is a chance atreus is a norse God, but it seems that his mom is not a godly giant, so he probably is just a normal giant
You realize you just said 3 halves right?
Atreus: Can I...turn into an animal?
Kratos: Not in this game at least.
This is a really big turning point in the game. After this scene, I noticed that Kratos spoke differently to his son- softer, more encouraging.
DAD OF WAR 4
Lymar Costanilla Atreus: You were god of what?
Kratos: God of War
Atreus: Now everything makes sense
Atreus: But I also should be called the god of Death for the 4th times I die and came back.
So hey small detail that I might have missed out son. Yeah ummmmmmm so I'm Kratos the God of War and once I was so pissed I killed everyone on Mount Olympus because I could. Okay let's go champ.
and nearly kill humanity
lunaruno in greece
Atreus : Can I turn into an animal?
Me : I wonder if they're gonna include him birthing Slepnir in a DLC...
No microtransactions.
@@DarsiPadilla DLC =/= Microtransaction

So not only is kratos a badass but he's also a good dad. Wow I'm in love with this game
doesnt matter how often I watch it, it never gets boring
wow, love the foreshadowing when Atreus asks Kratos if he can turn into animals. Sick.
"I'm a God what is the most desired thing I would like to do? Hm...." 2:07
I feel like atreus is actually a furry
God of Furries
+Nguyen anh minh
He was fucked by a horse, and gave birth to a horse.
@@Beerbottles123 While he was turned into a female horse
I love the look on Kratos' face when Aterus asks if he can turn into it an animal because the look is legitimately "I don't actually know I've never tried."
The way kratos reveals himself...no wonder atreus attitude became somewhat cringey. I like how he reacts tho.
Golden1_1Dragon it's not Cringe. Try frustration, surprised, angery, annoyed? You do human right?
The WindyREDPanda he was rude to one of the dwarves.
Cringey as in reminder of something you done before n you know know it was wrong
Golden1_1Dragon his been fucked by gods and man like an overused needle in a drug house, its pretty understandable why he distrust others, that is not cringey at all
Though his not as bad as in the previous installments, having a family might have chill his ass a bit
Why would you cringe he’s a child and that’s a pretty normal response
Well his behaviour does become abit weird. He does a complete 180 and becomes phycopath and then does a 180 again and goes back to his normal self in like 30 min or so found it abit weird.

I love the surprise in his face it’s real subtle but watching his eyes dart around like he expected Atreus to say something negative. What a fantastic game!!
Title: God of War - Kratos Reveals to Boy He's a God
The way the game camera focuses on Atreus and back to Keaton’s in that angle is SO beautiful
Atreus: Can I turn into an animal?
Me: I see you have your priorities straight...
"Can I turn into an animal?" Aged pretty well
One of the most fantastic adventures to date. An absolutely brilliant story told perfectly.
Kratos is the definition of dad lore
I love how inocent atreus´s response is
"What a fool you are. I'm a god. How can you kill a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence. How could you be so naive? There is no escape. No Recall or Intervention can work in this place. Come. Lay down your weapons. It is not too late for my mercy."

“Often I don’t either”
Kid's reaction is what you would expect it to be, they nailed it
**One of the most dramatic scenes, in the God Of War saga, where Kratos reveals their godhood to his son**
Shoulder pad at 1:56 : "Don't look at Atreus, look at me!"
Is it just me or does this give you the chills
no you are not alone haha
That was the cutest thing ever "can i turn into a animal"
Skip to 1:30 & you can see how much he doesn't want to tell his son the truth. He fears his son will react with the anger, resentment & what he calls the "curse of being a god." Even until he had no other choice. Then we see his reaction to his son's response, a clear feeling of both confusion to such a positive response as well as a flood of relief. It's probably the first time EVER in Kratos's life that his history/blood has turned out for the better & he gets it from the one person he loves & protects more than anything else in his past. Christopher Judge nailed his performance as old man Kratos.
And thus begins Atreus’ brief descent into arrogance before he’s snapped back into reality.
"What do you really want to do right now?"
Kratos: *Travels back in time and slaughters the gods again*
I went to muspelheim.
That honestly was heart warming
“You sure I can’t turn into a wolf?” OH *BOY*
How the fuck they managed to pull off making freakin kratos a loving father figure?
