- Now that Halo 2 Anniversary has campaign scoring on MCC, let's see what happens if Arbiter kills some human enemies on the missions where he encounters them. Will he get points?

Unfortunately we have dick-riding master chief fanboys that won't allow it. Arbiter missions in halo 3 were removed because of that reason and this is why Halo 2's campaign is superior than 3.

This Is an Overrated Image I can't believe people hated on the Arbiter missions. I thought it was a brilliant way to underscore just how terrifying the flood was. It showed us just how dangerous the flood was, striking fear into the generally fearless Covenant. It gave us a much needed different perspective.

Brutes are programed as enemies, no friendly prgraming was ever made

W ES Bullshit their Set as allies on Sacred Icon. Their default faction is allied to the Player.
W ES wtf are u on? Use assembly on vista and modify the squads to spawn them and they are allies the only thing they don’t do is talk or make noises even when shot so if you don’t fucking know shit don’t fucking say it.
its a simple mod to replace all your allies as brutes. the harder part is making them your allies because there's no mission in halo 2 where brutes are helping you
so those pelicans where not controlled by flood. well then.

Tl;dw: We don't gain any points, we don't lose any points if we kill a marine that is an enemy. - We lose points (13) when they are friendly.

If I recall, he loses points in Sacred Icon. Let's see if the video confirms this. Wow, nothing? I thought for sure you'd lose points, since you can lose points for destroying UNSC vehicles, with FLOOD DRIVERS, while being The Arbiter in QZ. Is it possible this was fixed? Fun video, as always!
It makes sense since you aren't meant to encounter marines as the arbiter until saving Johnson's squad at the Scarab platform, so there shouldn't be a point change until then.

Probably because they didn't intend or think players would be to reach and kill those marines so never made the score counter for them.

Then the next level after scared icon there was a navy ship and if u fire at the right spot u can see some one falling out from the ship

Probably because Bungie never intended any actual UNSC assets to engage with the player during this mission. So when you kill the marines, the game has to register the kill and does so under the only available biological enemy types - the flood.
If you want to try to justify it with lore you could try to say they were so heavily infected by spores that the infection had already started changing them.
I never knew that Pelican with the scorpions were Marines but yeah now I wonder what they were doing

FUCK THIS MISSION i was playing this on solo legendary the other day and that wasn't even the worst mission so far

They could let you get points during the Insider Program.

Maybe you already tried this but if not can you make a video of you playing as an elite, brute, or marine in one of the first 2 halo games and see what it is like to get infected in first person?
No one can get infected on screen in the first 2 halo games. Surprisingly, this feature was added only in Halo 3

JSnake I think is not possible, Because there are no first person models and animation for that, even if he get to does that,,. He has to do a lot of things to make it work
JSnake that's ok. I think there is no bump posession mods for any halo games besides Halo CE and Halo 2 Vista (yet)
there is a mod where you can spawn halo 2 and halo 1 enemies in halo 3 and vice versa with the other games. i honestly don't know what would happen if a halo 2 or halo reach brute got infected by the flood in halo 3. (I'm guessing the game crashes)
It’s weird that most Sci-fi games or movies always have this humans vs aliens and always focus on the human perspective instead of both sides but favour the humans where in Star Trek and especially Star Wars have good and evil humans and aliens and be a interesting experience to fight humans in a first person shooter perspective in a Halo game where you are a member of the Covenant similar where it be interesting in a World War 1 or 2 campaign story game where you play as the Japanese, Italians, Germans, French, Canadiens and both sides of the Allies and the Axis and be nice to play as Australian or New Zealanders in those world war games since I’m Australian and it be interesting for many other war games like playing as a Locust soldier fighting against the Gears (Gears Of War) or playing as a Skynet T-800 Terminator fighting against The Resistance (Terminator) and etc.

I guess if we were to get deeper into the lore, Thel has already killed countless marines prior to Halo 2. And since his role as the Arbiter was to retrieve the Index, the humans still remain as his enemies.
However, if we took a different approach to the question, then yes Thel does get points. The flood human combat forms may be undead, but they’re still marines.

What's weird is that on Quarantine zone I get +24 points and -150 points at the same time for blowing up a Scorpion that has Flood in it.
+24 for killing the flood, -150 for killing the friendly vehicle.

@@pellet1167 Arbiter is technically a UNSC ally in the game files, even before he’s betrayed by Tartarus. Vehicle allegiance is a separate stat, independent of who is driving it.
@@pellet1167 also keep in mind Halo 2 is held together with store brand duct tape, Bungie was crunching hard.

Yea. The whole thing about arbiter never fighting humans in Halo 2 seems to be caused by the whole videogame controversy/over sensebilaty nonsense that was going on the last decades. Funny though, it was with many media/entertainment forms the same way. As Horror Films where becoming a thing, people where also reacting like it would be the cause for all kinds of bad things on the human psychic.

So no one is confused why there are two arbiters and no Master chief?
Master Chief no because that's how co-op worked on halo 2 it wasn't until halo 3 that different players were different characters. It wouldn't have made sense In halo 2 anyway because chief and arbiter were enemies for most of the game

I honestly hate the scoring in MCC , it’s such garbage compared to Halo 3. Like how am I playing normal with 5 skulls and I only get 30 points for killing a brute ? I’d get atleast 800 in halo 3 on 360. BS
I have a theory in halo 4 cinematic it shows chiefs mom. Cortana was made from a living not dead human but that human was unnamed. I think I know who it is. So back to halo 4 cinematic, on the beach we see chiefs Mom glitching into Cortana. Dr Halsey said John or the chief had the perfect mind and physical genetics she could have passed them down to Chief or John. So my theory is what if Cortana is a clone of chiefs mom in ai form. That is by theory I really hope you see this because I thought a lot about it and I think you would like this
Hero Presentations Hero Presentations Cortana isn't a clone of chiefs mom. In Halo: The Fall of Reach, it talks about Halsey being the basis for Cortana, and even how she was afraid Cortana chose John because John was Halsey's favorite.
Cortana is based in Halsey, but the kind of ai that is cortana is made out of dead humans, cortana was made by cloning Halsey brain and using it to create cortana, that's lore canon
