This time I visited Hot Spoon, a popular curry restaurant in the Kosugi area of Imizu, Toyama Prefecture. Kosugi area flourished as an inn town during the Edo period. The city of Imizu is also called Imizustan because of its many residents of Pakistani descent. Hot Spoon is one of the oldest Pakistani curry restaurants in Imizu. The restaurant attracts not only Pakistani but also Bangladeshi and Nepalese people, and it was a place where you can experience the South Asian atmosphere.
