i never get why some people get so worked up about off leash dogs. I've had the cops called on me for walking my dog off leash at a local park and even had a couple people complain about my dog being off leash in my own yard before even though she's well trained and well behaved. That time with the cops the cop even said the guy who reported me had called over a dozen times about dogs off leash and there wasnt a single one of those times where the dog actually did anything wrong. It sucks because in many places the dedicated off leash dog parks _suck_ and they're just big empty lots full of nothing but grass and mud, often without any shade or water so they're mud pits most of the year and unbearable deserts in summer, and most off leash dog parks aren't that big, i've been to some that are only just big enough for a decent game of fetch provided you dont throw the ball too hard.
