I’d suggest either add text that says what blocks are, or remove the shaders. The shaders make it extremely difficult to tell what I’m looking at. Especially trying to tell if something is spruce vs dark oak or deeplsate vs blackstone.

Just getting back into Minecraft this build and tutorial made me so nostalgic. It took me two days to build and it looks amazing on the server. Had fun the whole way. Having conversations like “I know that camera angle anywhere…he’s about to copy and paste again!” Only thing I hated was potting the plants. They suck because I can’t pick a flower I made this on my server with the All The Mods9 modpack and my wife. She’s somehow more excited than me to finally play survival. I decided to build this over a shallow lake and glad I did. The water by the walkway surrounding the fountain quickly became an aquarium and used the same circle strategy in the beginning of the video to make walls underneath to see the fish. Now all that’s left is to finish adding in some more modded stuff like a fully operational kitchen, living room, etc. Definitely going to use your building style for a dock
Seven years ago, when my friend and I first started playing Minecraft, we both used to be so excited about this game. Even though we weren't particularly skilled builders and the buildings we made were unsightly, we had a great time working together anyway. She now claims that this game is really immature... Even if I am better at construction, playing by myself is not what I want :(
Definitely not immature! There's so many creative and intelligent things about this game a person can make and work with. I think it's great you still enjoy the game and you improved in building. Maybe try out public servers if you're by yourself? Do what makes you happy
I don't follow tutorials, but I find Rainy's videos to be relaxing build videos that I enjoy the tutorial aspect for having more insight into the details of the build.
Had zero issues with this tutorial and ended up choosing diff wood & stone it looks lovely w the new mc wood update&deepslate! For those complaining about texture packs just pick a diff type of wood it’s not that important plus it’s fun to do diff combos! For the beams going vertical I went with the bark versions and WOW they popped! Loved it! If you play with friends who refuse to build their own house and always shack up in your basement this is the perfect build lmao! (For a fun colorful version do cherry wood warped fences crimson wood & quarts it reminds me of cotton Candy SUPER CUTE!)❤

I've been trying to build this base for myself and my friends in our survival world. It's now my 1st week off trying to build it😅. Besides that awesome build, I've been returning to this video so many times to try to get everything perfectly, steady progress so far.
Spent almost a week making this in survival and I'm about halfway through. Once i get to the entrance it should be rather simple. Just a pain having to do the side buildings 4 times but its worth it!

Why not build in another biome? When I get tired of a place, I start over in another biome so as not to erase the world. that way I don't waste time spent at that specific point on the map and it can be nice to revisit after a while.

Hey friend. I just finished recreating this build as a spawn base for me and my friends on my server. Took me 12 hours and still have 75% of the interior left to decorate. Absolutely amazing job and very well made tutorial. I wish I was this creative :)
In case anyone is confused, the first pillars you make (the 17 tall ones) are 16 + the base block, so once you map out and place the starts of the pillars it's 16 on top of those. I had to slow the video and could to make sure i was doing it right cause it's not specific if it's 17 total or 17 on top of the bottom block.
lmao i made a mistake too and i was like half of the build, i wont destroy all of it and re-do it all again. so i just sticked to it and adjusted the other builds one block higher.

Took a month and a half... maybe a little more to build but totally worth it. This is now my servers home spawn house. Looks amazing but a real material list would have been great. I have about 24 stacks of Blackstone stairs left over somehow.. and had to get so many little things to finish it off but I will say was 100% worth it. Now I gotta build the rest of my buildings in the same fashion.
This was an awesome video to follow. The biggest build I’ve tried so far, took me about 20 hours over the last 3 days. I loved it! There’s so much details! And a lot of it is repetitive which makes it much easier to follow! Thank you 😊
Just got done building this insane build in our survival realm was really hard to make on bedrock with the shaders you have and but this build is great
This circle was hell, I've spent nearly two full hours trying to make the puter one and now can finally start with the inner one. My tip: after 4,3,3,2,2 draw a line to the other side of the circle and see if bith sides aline. Do that more often with the 1,2,1,1,2 etc to Check if you f***ed up or not, than it should work😢
Took me forever building this, not even including picking what materials to use in place of the stripped dark oak, nether brick and blackstone combo, but I finally got the ratio that appeals to me. I decided to go with oak logs (not stripped) birch planks and cobblestone, and I'm quite happy with the results. Though I will admit like some others have said, it was quite difficult following at times, and some of the materials were hard to identify. For more than a few parts (especially the blackstone gate) I made minor errors following the video that cascaded into major problems because some of the steps were semi ambigous as where to place what block where, costing me a lot of time to go back and fix. But otherwise amazing build. Took me weeks, but it was all worth it in the end.

I have to say this was one of the hardest tutorials to follow for me but I managed to do it. This is an amazing build, however I hope to see easier tutorials from you in the future :) Edit: I successfully made the whole thing!
A truly amazing build. It can be a little difficult to discern what's happening, but that's why you can slow down the video and zoom in. Patience is key for this build

I see a lot of build videos that don't include if your starting with the front, back, west, or east. Could you include that? I want mine to face a certain way and I always get turned around and they start somewhere else. Lol. But I'll sub. Can't wait to see more
@@jammyboi2345 it's certainly pretty easy minus the sea guardian stuff. The Blackstone is quite common in the nether and probably is the easiest to get from there. The nether brick on the other hand is a pain in the ass to make since you need to heat up netherrack.

great build i just think the lighting and texture packs shouldnt be on unless youre clearly labeling every block. i had to guess on a few of the blocks

The build is incredible!! I have some feedback about making the tutorial a bit easier to follow: please please label everything! Some parts were unclear how many blocks were where or how much spacing to provide, which could be found using context clues or the things around it but would have been much easier if it had been labeled, in addition to that you didn't say what blocks you were using in some parts, which can also be found just browsing to see which looks the most similar but still the same idea of it would just be simpler and would've taken less time for the re-builder. Other than that, it is a super beautiful build and I enjoyed putting my own spin on it with different color schemes and whatnot. You're definitely talented!
I love the build but can you make another video on how to place all flowers and other decorations. It's a little hard to make them while your looking at it from one side 😅😁

I followed along and built this. Only mistake I made is the first set of towers I built where the entrance should have been. I didn't want to go back and rebuild them so my entrance came in from a different side. lol. Turned out fine though. Love this build!

I'm building this myself. Using warped planks instead of spruce and cherry logs. Building it in a Mangrove Swamp as well. Was going for a spooky/Halloween theme with it
@@JamesAllenRefuerzo ( mostly cause of the shaders) the darker blocks are almost identical to each other cause of the shaders , and some stuff you can’t really see very well what they placed down and have to assume or wait for a different angle later in the video.
I KNOW, I built this on a server with a couple friends and it was facing the wrong way. I had to improvise and turn the back into an entrance instead 😕

I did it and put my own twist to it. cause idgaf lol I kept getting mad I couldn't see what they were 😂
spruce looks darker then usualy in the shaders and dark oak is more like chocolate colour and deepslate vs blackstone deepstone is more greyish
also the shadders are called bsl get them if you want they are nice

lmao i made a mistake too and i was like half of the build, i wont destroy all of it and re-do it all again. so i just sticked to it and adjusted the other builds one block higher.

Took a month and a half... maybe a little more to build but totally worth it. This is now my servers home spawn house. Looks amazing but a real material list would have been great. I have about 24 stacks of Blackstone stairs left over somehow.. and had to get so many little things to finish it off but I will say was 100% worth it. Now I gotta build the rest of my buildings in the same fashion.
This was an awesome video to follow. The biggest build I’ve tried so far, took me about 20 hours over the last 3 days. I loved it! There’s so much details! And a lot of it is repetitive which makes it much easier to follow! Thank you 😊

This circle was hell, I've spent nearly two full hours trying to make the puter one and now can finally start with the inner one.
My tip: after 4,3,3,2,2 draw a line to the other side of the circle and see if bith sides aline. Do that more often with the 1,2,1,1,2 etc to Check if you f***ed up or not, than it should work😢

Took me forever building this, not even including picking what materials to use in place of the stripped dark oak, nether brick and blackstone combo, but I finally got the ratio that appeals to me. I decided to go with oak logs (not stripped) birch planks and cobblestone, and I'm quite happy with the results.
Though I will admit like some others have said, it was quite difficult following at times, and some of the materials were hard to identify. For more than a few parts (especially the blackstone gate) I made minor errors following the video that cascaded into major problems because some of the steps were semi ambigous as where to place what block where, costing me a lot of time to go back and fix.
But otherwise amazing build. Took me weeks, but it was all worth it in the end.

I have to say this was one of the hardest tutorials to follow for me but I managed to do it. This is an amazing build, however I hope to see easier tutorials from you in the future :)

A truly amazing build. It can be a little difficult to discern what's happening, but that's why you can slow down the video and zoom in. Patience is key for this build

@@jammyboi2345 it's certainly pretty easy minus the sea guardian stuff. The Blackstone is quite common in the nether and probably is the easiest to get from there. The nether brick on the other hand is a pain in the ass to make since you need to heat up netherrack.

The build is incredible!! I have some feedback about making the tutorial a bit easier to follow: please please label everything! Some parts were unclear how many blocks were where or how much spacing to provide, which could be found using context clues or the things around it but would have been much easier if it had been labeled, in addition to that you didn't say what blocks you were using in some parts, which can also be found just browsing to see which looks the most similar but still the same idea of it would just be simpler and would've taken less time for the re-builder. Other than that, it is a super beautiful build and I enjoyed putting my own spin on it with different color schemes and whatnot. You're definitely talented!

I followed along and built this. Only mistake I made is the first set of towers I built where the entrance should have been. I didn't want to go back and rebuild them so my entrance came in from a different side. lol. Turned out fine though. Love this build!

@@JamesAllenRefuerzo ( mostly cause of the shaders) the darker blocks are almost identical to each other cause of the shaders , and some stuff you can’t really see very well what they placed down and have to assume or wait for a different angle later in the video.
