Great review. Love your enthusiasm. 71 yo man here. Never had a wheel but putting the TMX together today. Very excited about it just watching you. There’s no comparison with a controller. I will take your challenge and race you, when I’m ready. Jejejeje
We have an Xbox One S. When we plug it in, the steering wheel moves like it is suppose to but the screen starts flashing saying the control is disconnected. How do we fix it?
I see your setup only has 2 pedals. But came with a clutch. And when I play forza horizon 4 it makes me use the clutch as the brake. And the brake as the gas. Do you know if There settings so I can size all the way it’s made to be used?
Hey just asking I’m not an expert but can you use the TMX force feedback wheel on ps5? Cus I’m planning to buy it rather than g29 g29 too expensive for me
I don’t get the part on the instructions where it tells me to put the pedals to a cockpit. I looked up what it means and i cant seam to find anything about it.
You want to hook the pedals up to a cockpit? I have another video that talks a little bit about that. ruclips.net/video/7It2acz10Ck/видео.htmlsi=tB25c7OOKH6c8EST
Thanks for the review. I just got one of these today. So hard to get used to it compared to a controller, but I am hoping I can learn to drive again soon.
Marianne! That’s so cool. Make sure and take a few days to just tweak your settings. Get a feel for the wheel, how it feeds back, how sensitive it is.. as it can all be adjusted. Let me know how it goes!! Are you on Xbox?
@@JonJLevesque Thanks! Yeah I am on xbox a good amount of time in front of my TV. I just attached the wheel to my desk at my PC now and started playing Forza Horizon 4 through the xbox app on my PC. I like being closer to the screen (versus the TV), so I think this is where I will mostly play from now on. I'll let you know how it goes.
My TMX is still going strong! I made a new video about my entire race setup and the TMX is still a part of it all - ruclips.net/video/7It2acz10Ck/видео.html
Hi! I'm building a cockpit for my next steering wheel TMX Pro. I am in the process of making the support to install the T3PA set. Do you have the right dimensions. Length and width. Because I can't find the right information on the internet. Thank you very much for your time :)
Hi bro, that start rotation is the wheel re-centering itself, that is why it runs to both stops on either end of the rotation. Not really anything to do with force feedback setup, you can do that in game.
Hi, How do i calibrate the wheel? Mine is either malfunctioning or needs to be calibrated somehow.. when I use it randomly loses control... the wheel that is...
@@JonJLevesque like when I -play with a regular remote, there is no issues. when I use the bran new wheel.. the car rumbles... the steering wheel loses control it almost feels as if i was driving in tough terrain and I cannot keep car straight... thanks for reaching out!

Hi! Nice video! However, I get a feeling that wheel movement in the game is kinda slower than on TMX itself. I have watched some other videos with TX or G29 and can't tell the same. That could be pretty annoying if You want to get best immersive. Is there anyway to adjust the deadzone?
@@blackbirdios7477 Hello! Thank You for comment :). I have just bought the TMX and You're right. It's all about the settings. But in my opinion it works much better in FM7 than i FH4. Cheers
I'm wondering why on start up my tmx spins alot more violently. But I can assure you when I'm drifting in game it doesn't spin that fast.. actually it barely counter steers with out assistants from me ruclips.net/video/kV2FsD-AnNI/видео.html that's me drifting on assetto with the tmx n that's using full 900 degrees rotation

Nice review and demonstration of the wheel. The TMX pedals are upgradeable. However, the wheel is not removable. You need to have the Thrustmaster TX Servo Base to swap wheel attachments -- which is a much more expensive investment.
It’s my birthday on April 12 and my dad said if it’s in stock he’ll get me this wheel. Does it need a wall plug type thing? And btw in real racing wheels they use the paddles on the back to shift gears
Thanks for the video. Enjoyed the information. I’m planning to play truck simulator. Do you feel okay with it mounted to the desk? I can’t afford a rig as of now😇
so upset cuz i had a backstage pass and used it on some other car, then realized i needed the ferrari 599xx Evo and noticed it was avail backstage, but i have no passes now. It is in auction for 12M! i guess i have to wait till next festival series to get another backstage pass unless u know another way.
I've got a TMX Pro and I use around 10% minimum force in most sims just because the wheel has quite a bit of deadzone itself, applying extra dz is making things worse.
Great video, stoked for my TMX to arrive this week!
Hope you enjoy it!

Yes the official ones

I have seen some cases when people have had to return this wheel due to reliability problems. Have you had any issues with it so far?
Zero issues so far! Nothing but solid performance
Where is the clutch and since it doesn’t have it, how will that affect driving and how do you get a new set of pedals with a clutch
So this is the base set. You can buy upgraded pedals with a clutch and plug them into the wheel base.
get the tmx pro set it has the best pedles
