Some do, most don't. Most cracked versions don't let you update to the current version of FCPX. You need 10.0.3 or newer usually. You can try, but you might just get a blue screen when the effect is applied.
@spencersmat You need to just move them into the folder /movies/motion templates/effects. Then restart FCPX and you'll see them in the effects browser.
Thanks Dude. Just starting to use FCPx for my cooking channel. I like the split screen one you mentioned. Honestly I did not even know FCP could have plug-ins.
@Bilenutube Assuming you are using actual pre-keyed footage, if you follow all the steps it will work. Double check that you aren't missing something and give it another try.
Great videos Matt. I'm looking for some cool transition packages with effects for photo (stills) sequences. I know you can get some great packages for After Effects - do you know if there any available for FCP X?
My bad people!!! I just noticed, it was a QuickTime encoder!!!! It is quicktime encoder, that iMovie uses (of course, when you export via "quicktime") Sorry to build up hopes...
You have to locate the "home" folder - where you also can find Applications, Downloads, etc etc... There, you'll find a folder that is called Video - there is where you can find the FCPX folders!
hi mat i need these soooo bad for my videos rite now and never knew where to get them from.though i edit with iMovie,is there one for iMovie or even one that i can pay for ? cheers thanks so much you've helped me so much with editing .can thank you enough!!
well i restarted FCPX and my Mac for one thing, and in the "effects" folder i made an additional folder in which i put all of the downloaded effects into. i hope this helps
Aww man. This was one of my next videos lol now all the little kiddies will think I copied you when I upload haha oh well. This video is awesome though -- I found some different plug ins to you! Can't wait to try the ones you found and I'll show mine off soon :D
@nicdem25 that's the weird thing... in the systems folder for iMovie. There is a "plugins", but it doesn't support plugins. Just makes you wonder, what is the point of having a plugins folder, if you can't use plugins?? The closest thing to a plugin I use in iMovie, is the x264Encoder (google it, you'll thank me later) Is an awesome encoder much like h264, but it does the encoding/exporting way better. Which means, smaller size files & better quality (less noise). Supports advance adjustments.
You can get Colorista Free and LUT Buddy from Red Giant Software for free. They are for After Effects, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro 6 & 7. Hope this helped!
Wow, This great video. I Love how Final Cut Pro X Are Making good Video Editor with Funny Effects Video And Audio. And I Got iMac. Final Cut Pro X Is Amazing Video Editor :)
Hi, Is there any plugin or software which can match 2-3 different camera footage because in this case the editing will be much easier for me. I heard about a software which match the footage according to the audio level. Thanks in advance.
Harvest Creative Media There is a way to do this in the stock version of Final Cut Pro X but I am not sure how, look up a tutorial and you should be abke to find it. :)
***** the trial version should have all of the features of regular FCP just in a limited use in terms of time so probably, just look up a tutorial on how to use it and you should me good.
@a7xforever507 Macs play plenty of games, and as far as I know every major recent computer game release was on both Windows and OSX. The idea that "Macs aren't for gamers" really stems from the fact that for many years developers simply didn't make a lot of Mac games. That's not really the case anymore. Although, many hardcore gamers prefer to build their own machines, which is easier to do with WIndows.
@iPhoneiPadReviews You're welcome so much. Glad you like them.
@davagurodvil Mac has some great software, but so does Windows and Linux. Its all about picking the right platform for you. Thanks for watching!
