So, hello to a fellow Deep Purple superfan! I just love them - every lineup has been amazing in some way or another. Like you, I absolutely LOVE Steve Morse. I truly believe he's the best thing that ever happened to DP. Not only is he immensely talented, he's also extremely intelligent anda genuinely good-natured, laid-back guy. He is just the right personality fit for the guys. They seem genuinely happy together, and I give Steve Morse all the credit for that.
*DEEP PURPLE fun fact:* ---------------- How's this for an interesting statistic... Deep Purple has put out at least one album in each of the last seven (7!!) decades that charted at #20 or higher, somewhere in the world. The first to reach a Top 20 spot was released in 1968, and the most recent was released in 2020. Each of those points is remarkable alone, but combined it's absolutely awe-inspiring!
Im taking may Granddaughter to the O2 gig in October, she will be the third generation to see Purple, my son was 6 when I first took him she will be 12, I hope she enjoys it
Didn't you recognize that little melody at 10:40 and 11:13? That's the run-up just before the drop towards the end of _Child In Time!_ Very clever for him to include in here.

Great reaction as always. I was really pleasantly surprised by Simon, he fits in quite well.
Thank you 🤘
I had the pleasure to see Simon two times with Don Airey and watched a lot of videos of their shows. He's that Gibson Gary Moore style player :-)
Nice! He’s a lot like Moore 👍
