Thanks in advance for the video..
I use to repair Mototrbo series radios since 2014 and after many cases, discovered that what cause the battery unchargeble condition is the control circuit inside. I also made a technical report and sent to Motorola Dealers in order to improve the battery service life and they dont even replied yet.
I consider myself as an expert on those transceivers upon have rapaired hundreds of them and do not recommend such radios. They have been presenting same quantity of failures as much as any other less expensive tranceivers. Doesn't worth the cost. Believe me.

Nice look inside of an Impres battery. Shows the actual circuitry of the Impres technology.

That's true, more like laptop battery.
I have also "cheap chines from Aliexpress" clone without impress (of course it's labeled impress) - i'm wondering what circuitry is inside, but right now it hold capacity so i can't open it.

That's not an Impres battery. That's a normal 1400MAh 7,2V metal hidrure Mototrbo battery, but not impres.
The impres are the high capacity litio expensive mototrbo batteries.

@@stopnwonow5044 Sorry to desagree with you..that's endeed an impress technology battery. Sadly, they're pure rubbish. I repair Mototrbo series transceivers and batteries fail in less time than old NiCd batteries.
      A real loss of money.

Motorolla made it that way so you would need to buy a new one instead of just buying a rechargeable battery. It's all about control.

Fundamental flaw here looks like you have twisted miss - shaped the casing as is still needs to sit in charger base.would of used dreamel at beginning.

Глупенький мальчик. Аккумулятор надо обернуть полотенцем два раза. Резко, но несильно, ударить молотком по шву. Аккумулятор открывается как орех. 😅
