- Enjoy! This was a limited concert at the Mann Center, I recorded some of my favorite orchestral parts in order to share with those who may not have been able to make it to the concert!
Anyone who has left before the "Into the West" live song is not a true LOTR nor Howard Shore fan.
@123 Kidd still. This live performance deserves it.
Maybe they are a true fan but they need a bathroom more🤣 As he says at 7:41
its okay to cry because as Gandalf said, not all tears are evil....i cried watching this
yeah its like what gandalf said i would say do not weep not all tears are an evil
Damn, if I was there I would probably have cried during the whole trilogy.
Gui Porto the people that left early, were crying
@@BamBam-3886 i probably would cried tears of happiness to a beautiful and wonderful piece of orchestra of such an ending
i cry like a goddamn baby at this part. What a masterpiece, this kind of cinema comes once a century
nothing quite hits me as hard as this does. not these days. not anymore. nothing just carries the same heart, anymore. two decades later, and nothing has been able to consistently make me weep like this does. this was where The Lord of the Rings, and the stories of Middle-Earth ended for me. this will always be the most beautiful sendoff in any medium to-date.
Unbelievable that they're leaving early. Into the West with the pictures is the greatest end credits of all time. They paid good money for that concert.
The end credits for the fellowship is on par if not better.
Could be security making sure that the gates are properly manned
When you realize that the journey began with a hobbit’s door and ended with a hobbit’s door. There and back again
I decided years ago that the music soundtrack is the heart and soul of any movie. And the LOTR has as much of both of any film made. Thank you Mr. JACKSON.
Give your thanks to Howard Shore
I don’t understand, you purposely attended a screening of the film with live concert orchestra, and yet you leave at the end just as the credits roll? Mind boggling.
Not a good enough excuse.
Ultimately what Frodo represents is the trauma people suffer in war. JRR Tolkien fought at the Somme and suffered horrifically, just as Frodo suffered at the hand of Sauron and The Ring.
So many people come back from war unable to truly come home, their suffering has changed them and they can't cope, they struggle on in an unkind world trying their best to find peace; but many never find their peace. Too many have lost the battle with their own minds and die before their time as a result.
Just as Frodo never fully recovered from his wounds and suffered even though he was safe in the home he fought to protect, so he left his world in search of peace
The most moving musical score I have ever, and I suspect will ever hear in a film.
I cried so hard 😭😭
here in 2020. it is june 13th, 2020. i am here. i am alive. i am sad. i am sobbing. this makes me cry like my little 15 month old every time. i will always sob to this ending. i grew up as a 10 year old watching this series, i played every lord of the rings video game. i know every place on the middle earth map. this makes me happy... and makes me sob. i am now 26 years old. long live the king.
Same here man, 26 year old watched it at 10 and played every game haha. The best movie of all time
3:35 Nooo! I'm crying soo much :-( it's not easy to leave your best friend
The wonderfulness of this ending music is unrivaled, and indescribable
Why are these ignorants getting up - the credits are often some of the best music...
probably americans
I agree, but we all have to go to the bathroom 7:43 😄😄😄😄😄
They couldn't handle the tears anymore xD
Also its super disruptive to the people wanting to listen to the credits
Maaan, I remember watching this for the first time. I was alone in my room. I came from shedding a few tears of joy from "You bow to no one" to just sobbing because of this. This trilogy is a masterpiece, really.
Who the hell is chopping onions? 😢❤
I remember watching the movie in the cinema when the movie came out in 2004, I was nine and couldn´t begin to fully understand tolkien but it touched me deeply and the older I get the more it touches me. I was nine crying my soul out by the time "into the west" starts playing. Nowadays I still feel like the little kid but with a greater appreciation for what the text and movies simbolize and I cannot express how grateful I am to have had this experience.
man this is so heart breaking :(
This is very sad that Bilbo Baggins was dead. RIP Ian Holm.
When did In pass?
Ian

Yup me too
Me still crying in 2024 after watching this movie 1000 times
Lord of the Rings IS FILMMAKING!! ❤❤ WOW never fails to disappoint. Peter Jackson and company were the fellowship that set out to change the film industry they just didn’t know they were making a masterpiece
I always cry😢
LOL at the people leaving early. Seeing this movie with a live orchestra is a once in a lifetime experience and there are people leaving early?! Wild. Absolutely wild.
Dude why are you all leaving before it finishes? There's still like 15 minutes of music that you paid for that you're skipping out on...
Thanks for posting this!!
Best trilogy
This is the most beatiful thing i could ever attend to. Better than all other conserts in my mind
I bet I would've cried in this part :(
Strange how Frodo in the Heavens scene starts to speak more slowly than he usualy did, but its a kind of speaking like the lords of the elves often do? :) Well, he is now Lord Iorhael indeed :)
yeah bilbo said i think i am quite ready for another adventure but the grey havens is actually another home where frodo used to be at he was set out to save the shire as the boat starts to head into the sea frodo and bilbo go to a new place where they will call home
WHY ARE THEY LEAVING BEFORE IT FINISHES?
Crying
I wonder if the individual artists feel goosebumps while playing as well
They may even cry
first time that i see a video with only upvotes, thats LOTR, guys.
Não existe momento mais lindo que este (estes)... Esse final e simplesmente PERFEITO.
🥺
FML. Gets me every fucking time 😭😭😭😭😭
Its the first time I've noticed a somewhat darkened voice and face of Galadriel when she says - "time for the dominon of men". Thats strange - I've never seen this like that, and I know The Movie bit by bit for 20 years, including dialogues and music, becouse I've seen it about 12-15 times :D Its a second or two of her acting and yet its there :) Amazing :)
Because we know what happens when men are in control
@@tharakir1328 It was talk about Men as all kind of them, not only about males :)
@@tharakir1328 it's more 'mankind' than the gender you sexist fuck
Its funny how Pippin, always in the movies the least for catching understanding of whats going on :D and now he turns to Frodo as the last one of the hobbits. And funny how one of his first lines in the whole movie was "what is going on"? It seems that he wasnt created by the filmmakers as the brightest one :D though he was at the end of the book q.capable of making an insurgence in the Shire against the occupation of Saruman and his band of ruffians. And after that he was to be Thain of the Shire some day after his father. So he was not entirely "fool of a took" :D
5:37 - 5:40 goig to heaven
actually a new place to call a forever home frodo was set out to save the shire as the boat leaves it takes time on a new adventure to another place in middle earth a new place called home
making me cry ughhhhh
😣😣😣 this gets me all the time
Why the hell would you leave? You stay for all the credits
Where's the tissues?
A+
This would make a great commercial for Dignitas.
2024?
Why on earth are there subtitles when everyone speaks english here?
And because the live music is not as controlled as the one edited in a studio, sometimes it overpowers the dialog and people can't understand what someone has said...
Namárië Sir Ian Holm
Ik this isnt the proper video to type this but u a. Legend for killing that cheater.well done also if u still play cs i would like to play with y
Haha thank you, sir :D I haven't been playing many games the past year unfortunately haha if I ever get back into it at least I know I'll have someone to play with ;)
Zyphon thx for the respond i will be waiting for ur comeback eventhoguh i dont know u xD
😭😭😭😭
2021
I think gandalf receive the present from valar . He become a valar anymore.
I think Gandalf have the ring of fire one of the 3 rings of elves
I find it very moving that when it came time for Gandalf, one of the most powerful beings in Middle Earth, one of the Istrai sent to Middle Earth to protect it from Evil, to leave it for the Undying Lands, he said goodbye not to any Kings or people of power, but to four little Hobbits.
6:38
i bet not a dry eye in that whole theatre
05.00 music? Please
Did he go to the bathroom then?
Hard to watch.
I've always hated climax of the last movie when Frodo was at precipice of destroying the ring, and then chooses to not destroy it.
I mean, yes, it was heavily implied that it would be impossible for any one to want to destroy it...
But that is always to miracle of goodness over evil, light over darkness;
That no matter how hopeless a certain scenario can be; that goodness will always prevail.
Imagine if the scenario was like this:
Frodo gets corrupted, but before even attempting to wear the ring,
Sam's talk-no-justu - compelled Frodo to finally let the ring go and destroy it on purpose,
Then Frodo would finally return to his senses and would make the right thing to do; throw it into the fires...
The end.
But no,
Instead, he gets corrupted just like Isildur did during the 2nd age.
Like , ugh.. bad writing.
