@@soul0travel138 Actually, the Lord of the Rings is Sauron. He made the rings. The overall arc of the entire series is ultimately about his rise and fall.
That sort of melancholic moment when you return home from a long and fantastic trip, and you just sit down to get lost in your own thoughts. that precise moment was so amazingly captured in the scene at the Shire's pub. The four of them didn't say a word, but we understood what they felt.
@@0Tyson0 you don't know? Tolkien actively denied until his dying breath that The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit had anything to do with World War 1.
Beautiful scene. Though my morbid curiosity makes me wonder what this would have been in a darker timeline where Sauron got the One Ring back and turned Aragorn into the new Witch-King after killing him at the Black Gate...
Imagine you are one of those hobbits and all you wanted to do was wish your friend well as a king, but instead have a king and his entire kingdom bow to you. I would be crapping bricks
If Sméagol and Gollum occupied the same body, why was he in the tavern scene at the end of the movie? Wouldn’t he have died with Gollum? Never understood this. Can someone explain this?
Smeagol/Gollum isn’t in the tavern…he’s dead at this point I assume you mean the guy holding the pumpkin? He does have a similar look but I’m pretty certain that’s a completely different actor lol It wouldn’t make any sense to randomly stick Andy Serkis (Smeagol actor) in the scene… I believe it’s the actor Tim Gordon but I’m not 100% sure
Anticlimactic for a movie format. Peter jackson transmitted what Tolkien wanted to show when a soldier comes back from war and the struggles to adapt to society. This is a well made change at least for this format. The same thing happened with Glorfindel and with Frodo leaving the Fellowship of the Ring.
4:15 Way to go clapping and cheering during the most beautiful crescendo of the whole score. From a musical perspective the whole movie builds towards this moment and the crowd completely ruins it....
The audience is encouraged to applaud and show their enthusiasm and excitement for their favorite moments. According to the OP, the orchestra and chorus got standing ovations all three nights.
@@3allzBruh if I paid to go there I would be even more pissed that people wouldn’t wait til the end to clap instead of listening to it in its entirety. It’s disrespectful to the musicians.

And in that moment, 4 little Hobbits stood taller than all the kings of men.
They are the lord of the rings.. they're the only beings in middle earth humble enough to withstand it's power

Love this quote from the book
You’re god damn right.
"You bow to no one" is one of the best scene in movie history
This is the best scene in the entire series.
That’s my still get goosebumps moment
2023 ... this ending still gets me to bawl as a 43 yr old ...
Aragorn singing in Quenya still gives me chills. ❤
Arwen turning up never fails to not make me cry!
to not make you cry or to make you cry? I am confused.

Hugo Weaving's acting is so great here too. Him giving her away is heartbreaking and joyful.
Me too, it’s the only part that weep every time at. I can’t wait for the day that I look into someone’s eyes like that
It doesn't matter what your height is, big or small, remember that you have virtue and courage.
Out of the Great Sea to Middle-earth I am come. In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.
"my Friends, you bow to no one" is one of my favourite lines. Seeing the subtitles gave me a nice chuckle mid cry
wholeheartedly agree:)
I cry EVERY time i see this scene. This trilogy change my life. Thx Professor Tolkien, thx Peter Jackson!!

Its exactly how it must have felt coming back from ww1 to tolkien

@@uncreative5766 Doesnt matter, it clearly takes influence from it, regardless of whether he chose to admit or recognize it or not.
Thinking of it, Sam's loving eyes is nearly impossible to play that vividly, he's so great in this scene!
I've seen these scenes dozens of times, I'm 80 now and I still get very emotional....especially at the Grey Havens fairwell.
"you bow to no one" Makes me tear every time...
Love this Barcelona audience. They’re demonstrative in a good way.
There was a seriously electric atmosphere inside especially for the last 2 films 🔥
No, shut the fuck up during the movie. Absolute lack of emotional continence.
My God, the best trilogy in history, a masterpiece, years and years and generations and generations will pass and it will give the same emotions ❤
As much as I hope to see this with a live orchestra and crowd one day, I know I will be absolutely sobbing the entire time
One of the greatest movies ever done
Go get her , Sam ❤😂
I love the clapping and cheer from the audience ❤❤❤❤
Water from tears from this hall raised sea level by 1 meter
that shot of aragon and arwen standing oppsoite is uttery perfect.
what a movie! what a scene!
To everyone whining about the clapping: the crowd is encouraged to cheer and clap. Don’t like it? Watch another video.

Cant wait for the Madrid Concert
So amazing how well they play.
The way I cry everytime
FYI what he whipsers to Legolas, means "thank you"
gondors armor looks so good
So beautiful.
Sorry orchestra and choir. The moment where Aragorn kneels before the Hobbits is a time for thunderous applause.
Even with a full orchestra, you get lost in the images and beauty
Muchas gracias!!
Impresionante

Why does the crowd always clap while it's ongoing, you should only applause when the consert is over.

Really dislike all that clapping.
Don’t go to one of these shows then, tbh
Really wish everyone would stop clapping
Surely someone recorded the concert from a different angle and sound, from another presentation number.
How dare those ticket paying people clap at a live event not realising Chris141 from RUclips won't be able to bear it! How rude of them!
