@@joshkeller2671 Even if you end up being banned from Comic-Con for life, can't you still go by continuing to buy scalped tickets? I don't get it. It's like telling a known shoplifter that they can't buy anything from your store - that's hardly worth saying because they don't have to buy it. They'll still come in and swipe it off your shelves.

How upset they were reminds me of missing out on Iron Maiden tickets

I went to see Maiden a couple of times and it's an awesome show. They're getting up in years though. One time Linkin Park came to my city and for some reason or other I couldn't go, and a short time later everything went down. Sad about it for the rest of my life
Always love their sad nerdiness through the series but Pennys reactions make it funnier "how did i become friends with these guys" kind of look 😂

Me personally I don’t understand why scalping is illegal. U bought ur ticket, u can do with it what you want.
You bought ticket to use it on the event because thats how its intended to be used. Not sell it again. Its like you buying a cooked food to eat not to sell. Only opportunistic and greedy people do that. Its true you can do whatever you want but youre still a greedy POS. 😂

This was a generally funny episode but it’s the only time they ever stress about getting into comic con; if it’s this hard, how are they able to go so many times?
it's easy they get their comic book guy to get them badges like any normal comic book aficionado

Im not familiar enough to comment with every episode where comic con is a plot point but there are a few possibilities:
1. Theyre discussing other comic con locations I know at least one episode they went to comic con in bakersfield.
2. They could be going to a different convention as this episode noted there are a number of lesser conventions one can attend.
3. Over the years going to comic con and getting tickets has become exponentially more difficult as nerd culture has become more influential in hollywood the San Diego comic con has become a showcase for studios to make announcements for all or at least most of their major film projects sparking more demand from a general audience
They mention comic con plenty of times and I'm pretty sure there are a few more plot points related to it. But the show doesn't show every single second of their lives. Also it would get super old by like the third time if they kept doing a comic con storyline for every damn season

My husband works in event and production and works shows all the time at local venues. And even HE'S stumped as to why the San D con doesn't extend their event to more than 4 days, being how popular it is and how quickly it sells out! It is kind of dumb of them.

I don’t think scalped tickets is against the rules and if it were they’d just make it so the person who bought the tickets had to be at the event. That’s what other events have done to mitigate scalping
I felt sad for them they love comic con, I love how howard tried to help his friends.

I always wanted to go to comic con
Just don't shower for 3 days and eat nothing but pizza and fast food burgers and just imagine standing in a line for 8 hours before you watch the stream of panels. It's 95% of the experience. The other 5% is being awkward person surrounded by other awkward people.
Long story short...not really worth it

…reminds me more of why I need to get tickets to New York Comic Con. I usually go on Sunday, but I’ll try Thursday. Friday and Saturday are out of the question. The most important thing is to get the tickets EARLY!!!!
