The Big Bang Theory created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007, and concluded on May 16, 2019, having broadcast 279 episodes over 12 seasons.
The show originally centered on five characters living in Pasadena, California: Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), both physicists at Caltech, who share an apartment; Penny (Kaley Cuoco), a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's similarly geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar). Over time, supporting characters were promoted to starring roles, including neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik), microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski (Melissa Rauch), and comic book store owner Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman).
The show was filmed in front of a live audience and produced by Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions. It ultimately reached the no. 1 spot in its eleventh season. It was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series from 2011 to 2014 and won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series four times for Parsons. In total, it won seven Emmy Awards from 46 nominations. Parsons also won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series in 2011. In 2017, the series spawned a prequel series, Young Sheldon, based on Parsons' character Sheldon Cooper; it also airs on CBS.

Knowing Sheldon, he would absolutely hate episodes VII-IX.
Acctually, sheldon did see episods vii and viii at least, we know it fo a fact because in the last episode ir one before that (I dont remember which exactly) he said he watched the avengers trailer and then he had sex twice with amy, and according to the shows time-line it was avengers endgame trailer, and this trailer was relesed in 2018, when episode vii and viii already comes out, and during the serias we see the gang walking to a new stars wars movie we can assume is episode vii or viii and sheldon said it was not bad

At 1:58, Sheldon refers to funerals as "silly superstitions." Even a socially awkward guy such as he should understand that funerals have nothing to do with any sort of "silly superstition." Funerals are for those left behind. They aren't designed to wish the deceased Bon Voyage to the afterlife, or appease an angry deity, or ensure that the deceased soul is allowed to enter paradise. They are for allowing the living to grieve and move on. Perhaps there are some funerary rites that are for religious or superstitious purposes, but, as far as I know, most aren't. And Sheldon should have known that.

Sheldon is my favourite,I think Jim made him likeable ,he knows what he wants,he cares about Leonard ,even said .to penny not to hurt his friend.
He supported Amy ,when she was hurt by penny and Bernadette.
He offered penny money ,when she was broke,even though he razzes her about getting free food,and internet.
Sheldon never made nasty moves on a woman,unlike Howard ,who creeped out several ,before,meeting Bernadette.
Sheldon is self absorbed,and knows he is smart ,
As for raj,the only peson who never grew, or changed,except talking to women eventually without getting hammered.
Howard is my least favourite,the way he treated raj,and women is just nasty.
