Heidi I’m so glad for Patrick and his dad that they could share the time together and that Patrick documented the trip. My dad’s been gone 5 years this year and I miss him every day. I married a Guffy in WPB, Fl. in 1989. His family were the McGuffy Reader’s. He had an amazing family, unfortunately he wasn’t them.

This was so nice! My son and his dad took a trip out west last week, and they are heading back now. We live in Indiana. They went to MT for the 148th anniversary of The Battle of Little Bighorn. They stopped at Devils Tower yesterday and going to the Badlands today. This was an awesome trip your husband and father-in-law took. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing those memories. I am envious of Patrick getting to spend so much quality time with his Father before he passed. Many of us don't get that opportunity. I lost both my parents in an accident so I saw them healthy one day and the next time I saw them was the calling hours. I am so glad Patrick got to take that trip and make those memories. It will be a comfort to him in years to come. Phil

Back in the day (1960's and 1970's) we would go to a big auditorium and watch travel logs of people who would visit far away places. It was usually a slide show with a narrative. Thank you for posting this beautiful travel log.

What a wonderful trip final trip they were able to take together and wonderful father son time.
