Eloy is a monster! You should check out the videos from the current and former Angra drummers as well. Aquiles Priester is another very technical and hard player and Bruno Valverde is a young insane drummer who plays metal on a traditional grip (he recorded drums for the Kiko Loureiro solo album). You need to listen the last album of Sepultura, Quadra. It's a masterpiece of metal! I already had my CD because this deserves a place on my collection.

When Eloy arrived bassist Paulo in an interview with his way he said, "oh, all right", when he saw Eloy playing he said "fucked for me", Eloy is among the best drummers in Brazil and if not in the world, since he played a lot well, he was even exaggeratedly called a "new Neil Peart" because of the rhythmic adaptations ... I really think it is an exaggeration. Sepultura renewed the sound a lot and Eloy really became this monstrous drummer ... he wanted to see Aquiles Priester and Dave Lombardo together ... it was going to be a show of technique, speed and aggression.

Dude, Eloy is a monster. That's for sure. But you gotta check original Sepultura drummer Igor Cavalera, during the mid 90's shows. It is incredible.

When Eloy arrived bassist Paulo in an interview with his way he said, "oh, all right", when he saw Eloy playing he said "fucked for me", Eloy is among the best drummers in Brazil and if not in the world, since he played a lot well, he was even exaggeratedly called a "new Neil Peart" because of the rhythmic adaptations ... I really think it is an exaggeration. Sepultura renewed the sound a lot and Eloy really became this monstrous drummer ... he wanted to see Aquiles Priester and Dave Lombardo together ... it was going to be a show of technique, speed and aggression.

Even if Pat didn't know about him until then, it doesn't make sense to talk shit about Pat just because of that. It's normal, every day we discover new songs and bands. Besides, can you imagine the feeling of discovering a band like Sepultura at this point? Better yet, imagine what it must feel like to meet Eloy's work now, afer so many years. Pessoal, na moral, não sei se o Eloy já viu este vídeo, mas acho que ele ficaria felizão de ver alguém analisando o trabalho dele de forma tão entusiástica e com tamanha empolgação. Mesmo que o Pat não tivesse conhecimento sobre ele até então, não faz sentido falar merda do cara só por causa disso. É normal, todo dia a gente descobre músicas e bandas novas e imagina só a sensação de descobrir uma banda como Sepultura à essa altura do campeonato? Melhor ainda, imagina a sensação de conhecer o trabalho do Eloy agora. Deve ser algo muito foda, e ele falou super bem do nosso batera brazuca, então acho que a gente sempre tem que valorizar esses caras que de alguma forma promove o nosso cenário de metal e os nossos músicos, que muitas vezes são muito pouco valorizados no Brasil, infelizmente.
