The Yanmar YT235 looks to be a versatile and incredible value for most owners of farms and large pieces of property. It has an outstanding warranty, great features and abilities that are optional on other brands. 35 hp is more than adequate for small to medium sized farms. The ergonomics are amazing 👏. Just wish I had the land and room so I could enjoy this tractor. Nice.
Yanmar are fantastic, my only problem is I don't have a Dealer closer than 45 Miles from my House. Something breaks, That is a hell of a drive to get it fixed. That is why I went for Kubota.
I own the yt 235. i agree with everything you said except I would not call the seat a "premium" seat. yes it has arms and yes its semi comfortable to sit in UNTIL you start moving. This seat only has a couple rubber bumpers and springs for a suspension. In my opinion, Yanmar failed by not providing a FULL SUSPENSION seat like you find in most other tractors. Heck even most zero turns give you an adjustable suspension seat! I know they were trying to keep costs down, but I wish they didn't do that here! OR maybe give us the option to upgrade the seat to a full suspension seat. You cant buy one from Yanmar of America for the YT-235 even though they basically sell the exact same tractor in Europe which has a full suspension seat.
I actually agree with you, the seat is premium compared to the competitors in the same category. However they could have done way better in the seat department. If you haven't already checked, give our parts department a call and see if you can put an air ride seat on it, if you would like. (405)604-5454
I noticed the same thing. I have been kicking the tires on the YT235C and the John Deere 2038R. I loved the Yanmar when I tried it out. I feel like the fit and finish is second to none. The only thing I do not care for is the seat. I did see a video with a YT235C with a fabric pretty high end seat in it but it looked like it was in Europe which you stated as well. I am not sure what the reason for not offering it in the US is?
@@justinkarkos5600 I'm pretty sure that's the same seat as the one you find on the yt3 series cab tractors. You can probably get that on the yt235 as well.
@@Ooooopppsss I haven't looked at the YT3 series tractors in person (they didn't have any at the dealership I went to.) I didn't realize they offered that seat in the US. That was the only "gripe" I had with the tractor. Other than that I think it is a very well built unit with some great standard features. Thank You I will look into this further!
I am regretting not going with this after purchasing the SA424. I didn't think I'd need more HP, but after getting into larger projects across the 20 acres I own, I need more. Wonder what tradeins go for right now
I have a Ventrac 4500z with wide wheels kit. 72” finish mower. It’s limited and implements are too constant . 61 hours and I thinking I should have gone with this machine.
Let’s hope yanmar is going too stay the course . Dealers in ontario now . Going too check one out . They’re features and warranty are on the right track . I need a new 50hp tractor with cab . 👍👍
I have a Gray market 1980 model 2610. Yanmar is a solid company. I have owned about 5 Yanmars they are excellent. I have sold everyone for more than I paid.
I am looking at a SA324 tractor for tilling and compost management. Although the tractor is light in HP for a 60" tiller I have not considered any other Yanmar. BUT..I thought about resale values and feel that the YT235 will likely hold its value much more than the much less costly SA324. So in my mind I am considering the higher cost of the YT235 vs the SA324 and the resale values of each and think that it might be better to put out extra money up front to get the better tractor now knowing that the resale value will hold better than the lower cost and market rich SA234. Thoughts?
@@scubaguy5455 what is wrong with these new Yanmar tractors? The small Yanmar excavators the older ones are bullet proof they’re fantastic machines I don’t know anything about these tractors
How does this compare price wise to a New Holland Workmaster 35? Do you have the means to be able to do a side by side comparison on them? I'm debating between the Yanmar yt235 and the New Holland Workmaster 35. I do like that the Yanmar has a cab option for the 35hp. I haven't seen that on the New Holland. Thanks for the great video.
I noticed that the hydraulic connections for the loader are mounted underneath the floor on the right side of the tractor . Doesn't seem to be an ideal placement for those hoses. Doesn't it take away the ground clearance height plus couldn't they be damage easier in that location. Thanks
Hello I’m looking for turf tires for my yt235c can you help me source some. My dealer here in Ontario Canada seems to be having a hard time for some reason. Can these be ordered from yanmar in the US, please help me out. Thank you.
What is this tractor going for now in Oklahoma ? 2 yrs ago you said just under $23,000 . Today in Oregon it's $27,170 . Maybe it's better to pick up in Oklahoma ? Or what would shipping cost to Estacada Oregon 97023 ? Thanks
It will! However we recommend you always have plenty of weight on the back of the tractor, if you are lifting with the front loader. Also the ym342a lifts more and costs about the same. We recently made a video on that tractor, which you can find on our RUclips page.
@@TractorBobs I paid $27,900 for mine the other day, that's with loader and bucket. I did get the 3rd function and liquid ballasts for free though. Is that reasonable in your opinion?
Why is the lift loader capacity so low on this tractor compared too other tractors in it's class, and yes seat looks less than other comparables. Thank You.

Looks really nice but...I like a bucket that will roll and lift or lower at the same time instead of either or.
This one can lift and roll symotaniously very well.
On the website it is 26k. 37k after added implements....holy crap...
Très belle vidéo
Très beau tracteur et très bien équipé
Doit être très agréable à conduire
J'aimerais bien l'essayer.

Order the backhoe with it. If you order it later, it's a expensive installation.

I need the CAB!
Why don't they put self leveling bucket on them like the Summit tractors?
As much as I like Yanmar the RK tractors give you so much as standard equipment for a good price
They have a Yanmar engine, but that is about the only good thing about them.

Do these tractors have a front facing pto shaft for like a under belly mower
Can you put a pivoting side flail mower on the yt235? Thanks
Yes you can
What about MSL for pallets forks?
Does Yanmar offer an "add on" cab for the YT235 yet ? I purchased a new 2022 YT235 in August because it was available but it does not have a cab.
Why can’t I save this video to my playlists?

How much do a cab cost??
IMO, better to buy something old with primitive electronics and good parts availability.
I'd rather not have hydro trans
Some days I feel the same way. Luckily Yanmar just released gear driven tractors! Stay tuned for those videos.
Can it pick up a round bale?
