@@lukasp5892 Knowing lego they'd go straight for tos and tng first because they're more likely to grab the nostalgia and popularity factor for non trek fans.
Lukas P yeah I had the idea about a week ago to build the TOS enterprise 1:1 minifigures scale and quickly realized if it ever happened I’d have to be a millionaire. The saucer section alone would be as wide as a kitchen table is long. Maybe as wide as a dining room or wider. And I’d have no idea how to deal with the pylons and nacelles. And I’m talking about making each deck removable with every room and locks to keep it all in place. I can always dream though.
Lukas P yeah I’m thinking of maybe going with the NX-01 in the future instead. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about the secondary hull or the interconnecting dorsal, just the nacelles and pylons. I found deck plans online. But if I did build it I don’t know how I’d be able to have kids and build this thing at the same time. Maybe retirement in 40 or 50 years.
I made my own Enterprise out of Legos in which the Enterprises is still under construction and even has lego scaffolding around it to support it. IT IS HUGE! I made it so that you can look inside and see the Shuttle Bay, Engine Room, Docking Ports, Turbo Lifts, & even a bridge is visible once you lift the Dome. Would love to share with you my pic's. But not sure how to send.
Lego really needs to get the rights to produce lego star trek sets... As a Star Trek fan, this Enterprise is pretty amazing, even if it's more of a display model you can't really play around with, but it really does look fragile, gotta be careful with it! But it's very nice, not easy to make Star Trek ships out of Lego I heard! Live long and prosper, Brickvault!
I have the mega blocks enterprise and it is awesome. The deflector isn't the best on this one, and the white color is a little off. Better if it was in a grey brick IMM
It's good, but I can also see some compromises to the build. The pylons are a little "thicker" than it should be (among other things). The Mega bloks TOS version's only "con" was that the saucer isn't as "smooth" as this one. If it wasn't for that stand, it's easy to tell that it's very "fragile" by how wobbly that is. I can easily understand why it's only ever going to be a display piece that should be encased in a clear glass/plastic case.
I’m almost certain that with a solid technic structure beneath lego pieces and plates, making up the basic shape, LEGO could totally make an official Star Trek USS Enterprise set that is swooshable.
lol the maker of this also has a sovergein ( mass effect), b'rell bird of prey, stargate ha'tak ship and fighter and stargate hiveship....so...i think we might see 1 of those 2 :D
The only question I have is can is this also available as a version of the ncc1701 refit but without the a basically the ship from the motion pontiff as that one has always been my favorite enterprise
Well, the Enterprise-A does have one minor difference from the Enterprise-01 refit: color scheme. The Enterprise-01 was more of a bluish gray similar to the Enterprise-D of Star Trek: The Next Generation, while the Enterprise-A was more or less white, akin to the TV show original Enterprise-01.
Personally, I would have made the stand more arrow-head shaped so that it looked like the Starfleet insignia badge all officers wore on their uniforms, including the star in it's center. But that's just me. ;)
This would be perfect for the LEGO Ideas category. Especially since it’s been 40 years since this version of the Enterprise first soared on movie screens.
It's a good build, but in no way does it compare to the Mega Bloks build. Not enough smooth areas, nothing lights up, too many details are just... off. Don't get me wrong, it's a thing of beauty, but, when it comes to Mega Bloks' design for the original ship, it's not even close.
This looks great, but I need to say something. The Enterprise A is one of my least favorite Enterprises. It's the beautiful refit, but with an ugly -A slapped on to the end! Not to mention that it's about as reliable as a German transmission!
that roughly includes shipping cost if you are ordering in the U.S. BL came out to about $535 with 7 or 8 stores. if you're an Aussie or a Kiwi the cost would go up a bit.
@@BrickVault im from Europe, but still comparing it to even lego's ucs its cheap, most of the time mocs are really expensive... one of the few moc's that seems like a fair deal :P
The Megablocks model is a different design of the enterprise as this mock, This is the Kelvin timeline enterprise and the megablocks is the TOS timeline enterprise, it'd be interesting to see what your version of the original or enterprise D from TNG would look like.
This is actually not the Kelvin timeline Enterprise, but the Enterprise A from the TOS movies (not the show), and it's still from the Prime timeline. Also, I agree about wanting to see a proper TOS Enterprise or just the D as well!
Omg it’s so big. Hey bro I’m going home now to see you tomorrow I wanna is a time to go get food I am so freakin was the night you got the food I got you and you can go to eat with your is that I like to eat and I don’t wanna is it the funny part
Brick me up, Scotty. I mean, beam me up. Stupid auto-correct.
The angles on this ship are amazing, it's so cool how everything goes together.
Hate to disagree with you, but the MegaBloks Enterprise is a fantastic build and looks great on my dining room table.
I got it too. It is an epic build and looks great
I really wish Lego could get the license from CBS/paramount to make Lego sets 👽
PandaInAction ♐ as do I.

The Spaceballs Car/Ship is available, isnt it ?
I have never seen it?
Excalibur Builders what about the Eagle 5 (the winged Winnebago)?
"...not swooshable." *SWOOSH, CRASH*
As I am a huge Star Trek fan this is so awesome.
Finally a Star Trek Lego model that looks like something!
My favorite design for the Enterprise. This custom looks amazing.
The Klingon Bird of Prey instructions would be amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous ship.
Oh My God!!! That looks so good!!!
I would buy this but I need to complete my 1/350 uss enterprise refit model kit first
Boldly going where no man has gone before.

I’d be really tempted to change out the inner warp grille tiles from grey to something blue.

Yes, link please! I want to see these!
Please give us a tour of the studio and show us the creations. That would be cool.
Best starship design in Star Trek. Such a well balanced looking ship.
The original series ship was better. Will give this one a close second.
Reliant instructions at the same scale would be awesome
Builds like this make me want to give up MOC designing. It's so good.
may the force be with you
Is there any chance of a D appearing on the store any time soon?
I would really like to see a speed build of this model PLEASE
Is it possible that there could be an enterprise 2009 UCS build because that would be amazing
I would love to see an nx-01 or a pre refit constitution class
Lego would work really well for Nx-01!
Let's petition the Lego company to bring Star Trek into the picture, I bet they would sell fast.
Awesome build now for other star trek ship like klingon

i would love to see a UCS Jango Fett Slave 1 or a Vulture droid and its variants
They should really make the enterprise into a offical LEGO set
i only wish one thing from it......THAT IT IS MINIFIGURE SCALE!!!!!!!!!!!!! and also the bridge looks like a piece of the milenium falcon
Now we need a USS Vengeance from Star Trek Into Darkness
No
Or the Narada from 2009 Star Trek
Mega did a good job! However, the refit just looks so much better in the movies. The refit is my favorite by so much. I also like the Galaxy Class.
Again, in no manner does the refit look better than the original.
Wickedly awesome!
*Eat your heart out discovery 💢
I don’t like Star Trek that much, but GOD DAMN does this look fantastic.
I NEEEEDDD IIITTT
Now all you need is a Klingon Bird of Prey or a D7 Battle Cruiser to display it with...
We need voyager now
You should make a minifigure scale droid gunship
the grey bit around the navigational deflector is way too jagged and its just distracting
Looks really good but its pretty lame that it falls apart when you pick it up
Cool
Will you ever do a uss reliant
Is fan mocks dead?
No, just delayed because of review wave (Star Wars + Endgame) and some big MOCs we work on. They are coming back :)
BrickVault good I love having that variety of Lego content
Nice
simply gorgeous! but the nacelles are too wide imho.
where do people go to get all these lego pieces
Star trek 💪
The mega bloks Star Trek it’s super cool…is worth it to get it…
You can also get Star Trek ships from Blue Brixx now. Probably cheaper than trying to find the Mega Bloks one.
@@aarala excellent thank you👍
The saucer can actually come off in canon, so I’d call that a feature of the design
That's funny it didn't even occur to me
If I recall the saucer section only came off on the NCC-1701-D.
Joshua Fredericksen, watch trekyards, they have a lot of knowledge on the subject
It's always been able to separate, even back to the original series. They just never did it in the show.
