AH is like a less depressing Qrow from RWBY. I mean if stuff goes as planned Qrow is becoming a darker version of Geoff... only the closest thing to a daughter he has actually loves him and is excited about what he does for a living
Jeremy talking about his hair medical procedure and all the needles he had to be stuck with sounds like a horrible experience but hopefully will lead to good results. Kind of awesome of him to be talking about it so candidly since it sounded like a rough time.
I don't know about you guys, but I personally love the amount of diversity we have in the cast now. Don't get me wrong, I will always love the days of the Original 6 and even the days of the Original Lads and Gents, but Matt, Jeremy, Trevor, Alfredo, and Lindsay all bring in their own personalities and everything just mixes together super well. If the diversity of the cast wasn't there, we wouldn't have the Dusk Boys, the Twins, Chaos Corner, and so much more. Achievement Hunter, in my opinion, was never about the same people playing games, it was about the same group of friends playing games. Groups of Friends change throughout the years, and so has AH. However, with every change the Dynamic grows stronger. Keep Doing your thing AH. *Edit* Wow didn't expect people to respond to this. Anyways, to everyone whose opinion is that some of the new cast has no personality, I have to disagree with you. To me they all have personality that mixes well with the rest of the cast while still standing out. Their personalities come out in stuff like Lindsay Wins, Mario Mayker, Achieve Land, Things to Do, and AHWU. While I get the old days were amazing, I would never say things suck nowadays. And I may be biased having only been watching for 4 years, but I think that AH is just starting to grow and I can't wait to see how things are in the Future.
Yeah, I really think they do a great job with how much they change it up. I really enjoy the main 6 far more than the rest of AH, but it's good seeing Matt, Lindsay, Trevor, and Alfredo appear just enough to create a new atmosphere, while also not destroying the nucleus the 6 have made the last 3 years or so.
Jeremy is basically me when it comes to movies and TV. When I was younger, before I had a smart phone or laptop, I used to collect DVDs and watch movies all the time. I would keep up with TV shows, too. Now all I watch is twitch and youtube, and even then, like right now, I'll be on my phone doing something else while the video is on in the background. It's like I have to have multiple sources of mental stimulation to be satisfied. Recently, I got back into movies by putting them on my computer though, haha. I don't know if Jeremy would read this, or even care, but I've found movies are more convenient to watch if they're on my computer or laptop. That way I can watch it, but I can also do something else if I need to since I'm already on the computer.
Magnum references the cartridge of the weapon. Magnum is larger than the original cartridge it was developed from. A lot of modern weapons use magnum ammo, such as the M16 family which uses .223 magnum. Magnum basically means more power.
Also to be fair to Jeremy, the weapon in L4D2 is labeled the 'magnum' in all relevant source materials, and while it is based on a Desert Eagle and similar handguns... for legal purposes it can't actually be called that (marketing licenses, etc.). Further, the Desert Eagle itself can be chambered in magnum calibers (the .44 Remington magnum and the .50AE that the DE is most associated with are extremely similar), and was developed by Magnum Research Inc. for manufacture by Israeli Military Industries (MRI was recently bought out by Kahr Arms, however). You can functionally call a Desert Eagle a magnum and be correct a number of ways, and the L4D2 gun is *not* a DE anyway. ...Yeah, that whole thing triggered me in the comments for that video. I'll see myself out. (NOTE: I forget if the .50AE is considered a magnum round, but do know it's got the same rim diameter as the .44 Remington round. It very well could be.)
Firearms based on the AR platform (The M16 is derived from the AR-10) are chambered in .223 Remington, which is more common for civilian use, and 5.56x45mm for military use (virtually the same round with minor differences.) the .222 Remington Mangum round was a prototype round and hardly saw any use, and was later reclassified as the .223 and saw slight revisions. Saying Magnum makes it's more powerful isn't a very apt description, because there are plenty of "Magnum" cartridges that are far less powerful in comparison to rounds that don't have the Magnum preface. *Misread the first sentence.
Extreme Short version - a 'magnum' is either a larger firearm cartridge typically derived from a smaller, less powerful caliber, or a handgun chambered to fire that specific caliber. Some guns can be the same model, but have different calibers - only one specifically chambered for firing a magnum cartridge is explicitly a magnum (nitpick ahoy). Incidentally, a friend pointed out that even if the magnum in L4D2 is a Desert Eagle, it's chambered in .44 or .41 Magnum because the .50AE the gun is usually associated with in other media only holds seven rounds. In the game in question, it has eight (half the starting pistol) which is only used for the above two calibers.
1:09:00 just wanna throw this out there that kylo was fighting Rey after he took a Chewbacca laser to the gut and just had to kill his dad so he wasn't doing too good physically or mentally, and in the second movie they didn't really fight it was just kind of a force explosion it looked like after pulling the light saber apart. Lot of people seem to forget kylo got fucked up before the fight.
Jeremy, Magnum describes the power of an Ammunition. It can also mean that a weapon fires the same caliber, but this new magnum round has more power behind it, i.e. .44 and .44 Magnum. Same Bullet, but different powder charges
The cartridges tend to be a bit larger as well to accommodate the larger amount of gunpowder. Same size projectile. This is why many Magnum rounds won't fit or fire from a standard gun.
I know it's kind of, odd, but I really appreciate the brief conversation they had about dental work. I'd never consistently been to the dentist as a kid, so as an adult, the thought gives me EXTREME anxiety. It's helpful to hear the guys speak about it like it's no big deal, I've been putting off getting some work done for truthfully way too long. I usually feel super embarrassed about my dental issues, but knowing that people I admire deal with the issues as well is comforting. So I guess I'm just trying to say thanks for being human beings and for speaking openly about it.... :)
I love achievement hunter. Been consistently watching you guys for 4 years now I've rarely laughed harder watching anything else and I have never consistently watched as much as I have watched achievement hunter. I hope I die the day before achievement hunter dies that way I never have to go a day without the crew 😏
The difference between a clip and a magazine is that a magazine is what holds ammo, while a clip is just for loading most internally magazine rifles. Basically, clip for loading ammo, magazine for ammo in the gun. Also, a magnum is just a term for a more powerful version of the same round, like 7.62 and 7.62 magnum
A clip holds onto ammunition, and a magazine (whether internal or detachable) encloses ammunition and is what the ammunition is fed from into the chamber. Some clips hold cartridges so they can be fed into a gun and are then removed, but some need to stay in the gun with the ammunition as part of the functional mechanism of the gun. For instance, the stripper clip of the C96 Mauser is used simply load the gun, and its removal doesn't affect the function of the loaded gun. On the other hand, the M1 Garand needs the clip in place within the internal magazine for the semi-auto mechanism to function properly. A less well known example these days, but most revolvers designed to fire rimless ammunition use full moon or half moon clips to hold cartridges in proper position so they don't slide too far forward into the chambers of the cylinder.
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, I don't remember the hour I spent in the waiting room. But apparently I was reading, having conversations, and a bunch of stuff.
I really want videos of Matt and Jeremy just watching the first pokemon season and just doing commentary/screaming at it. Pretty much I want Pokemon theater mode because it would be funny.
The comic Trevor is referring to about Wolverine killing his future self is from the Age of Ultron storyline. Wolverine had to do this because it would've created a time paradox had they both gone back to the same present, thus fracturing reality.
Magnum just means BIG or really big so a magnum round is just a really big round so anytime there is a normal sized of powered round and someone makes a bigger and or more powerful version of that round it often at times is called a magnum.
1:51:15 The first shot of anything is the best because you psych yourself out for the worst pain ever. After the first you think its not so bad and lower your guard for the second shot. It hurts like hell and all shots after that are fueled by the fear of the pain from the second.
As far as I know, Magnum is anything that is larger than it is supposed to be. Frank Reynolds' Magnum Dong is just a Massive Dong. Magnums in reference to pistols are occasionally used in reference to physically large pistols, like the Deagle, but it's usually a variant/has been altered to fire larger caliber ammo than it normally would. Magnum rounds are bullets of a specific caliber but have been engineered to have a bigger impact

TECHICALLY, Wolverine kind of drowned in adamantium. He dies by being encased in it. Then he gets made into a memorial for the main Earth-616 Wolverine.
All of this episode just cemented why I adore Jeremy and Trevor. The rest are great of course but I would straight up hang out with those two and have no problem having a great time.
I doubt you'll read this Jeremy but one thing to realize about some anime is that when it's brought over to the states they rewrite the script not just translate it, especially back in the day. So, Pokemon is a prime example of an anime where they Americanized it so that it could be more relatable to a western audience, and that's why the animation vs the script feels at odds at times. They also edit some anime to remove more mature content, a common one for instance is removing guns and replacing them with water pistols or nothing at all (so it looks like they're just pointing at the characters or something, YuGiOh is an example of that).
1:13:45 :: Ah yes, the 'Blessing of the Protagonist' predicament as I like to call it. When under absolutely no circumstances will the primary principle protagonist ever be able to die in the story, breaking any illusions that may cause viewer anxiety, tension, or thrill. They may be hurt, lose an arm, become blind, fall into a coma; But no matter what, you know that they can't die. I think that's good though. It makes the subversive stories more enjoyable and rewarding when they are far and few between.
Jeremy should watch more movies... He's actually really great at analyzing and figuring out how to make characters tangible and unique. Which, isn't too much of a surprise if you've read his book. I know he's terrible at taking compliments, but... Jeremy is an amazingly talent person. Definitely an awesome fit for Achievement Hunter and Rooster Teeth, as a totality. The analysis on Star Wars was really fun to watch.
Guys, you should bring back the "versus", but now with the teams! And maybe using sugestions from the community for the games. Like two teams of two playing old age of empires..... All teams playing guitar hero ia a competition... I dunno, it might be a good way making the audience to like new members even more! And a great way of we participate more! Love you guys! Hugs from Brazil!
They have a newer comic series where they attempt to get wolverines body from the "tomb" "shrine" like thing and it was revealed that he wasnt infact dead and someone got out of the metal cacoone.
Personally getting my wisdom teeth out wasn’t bad at all. I had 3 removed, I went under on anesthesia and when I woke up it was done. I didn’t have the whole obnoxious talking experience because I could still comprehend everything that was happening. The only part that sucked was not being able to eat actual food and when the sockets get sore.
Rewatching this and I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed a week ago. I HATED coming back from being under anesthesia. Videos of me being "high" are hilarious but I threw up several times that day. Nashua was real and I looked like a bruised chipmunk for a few day.
Haven't seen anyone talk about it, and there's no reason *to* talk about it, but the reason the dude was in the cell when he could break out super easily, was because he needed somewhere to sleep for the night. So he just got in trouble with the police.
I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed last week I’m the same as jack it had no effect and I was mostly recovered the next day. The painmeds were strong but only took em for 2 day. Weird how that affects people differently.
'I promise I won't drink too much' We all know that's a lie Jeremy.
Too much... for him...
AH is like a less depressing Qrow from RWBY. I mean if stuff goes as planned Qrow is becoming a darker version of Geoff... only the closest thing to a daughter he has actually loves him and is excited about what he does for a living
I agree with Jeremy, bring back Danny Phantom!!
I forgot about that, that is sad. But he is doing his own thing.
Didn't Hartman say Phantom Planet ended the series in a way he found satisfactory?
butch did say he would love to make a new movie for danny phantom
Best outro ever, well said Jeremy.
It's like he drunkenly stumbled his way through a high school presentation XD
27:07 Jeremy shaves his head for optimal aerodynamics so the jokes can effectively woosh over his head.
Jeremy talking about his hair medical procedure and all the needles he had to be stuck with sounds like a horrible experience but hopefully will lead to good results. Kind of awesome of him to be talking about it so candidly since it sounded like a rough time.
time stamp on that?
1:47:42 , after he finished the 3rd ad read :)
TY!
I remember you, you told me about the hilarious ending with the switching camera stuff. Thanks Btw
#1 comment as usual

LanderGames 2715 I’ve honestly grown to love all of them. Lindsay can frustrate me actually playing games but as a personality she’s amazing
I'll agree with it all except for Trevor. He needs to chill a bit.
LanderGames 2715 Well said! :)

Drunk Jeremy equals Jeremy concentrated lmao
It's Pink Kryptonite Lil J but close enough.
i knew jeremy was hosting thanks to the title

This group is actually really good together 😂😂 wouldn’t mind seeing more of them together! Also the raft is great! Please release more 😄
When Jeremy said "Wedding Peach", I was punched in the face with flashbacks lol
Actually going to check out Felix gray. I liked how Jeremy pointed out it won't distort colors.
Nice try, Felix gray salesman
That ending speech by Jeremy was absolutely amazing.
29:03 for the title, back up couple minutes to get the meaning :)
Jeremy freaking out about anime is like the best thing ever!
Just so you know, the coloured dwarf star that made superman gay was pink kryptonite.
"Sometimes getting a needle is fine. ... Drugs are fun!"

First Off Topic that I have watched, and not disappointed!
I love achievement hunter. Been consistently watching you guys for 4 years now
I've rarely laughed harder watching anything else and I have never consistently watched as much as I have watched achievement hunter.
I hope I die the day before achievement hunter dies that way I never have to go a day without the crew 😏

Arcticxzf clip loads ammo, magazine holds ammo, in other words.
ForevermoreNevermore Yeah pretty much
SKS' use stripper clips to load their internal magazines, I believe.
Agent Darkness you're right, basically any bolt action rifle from ww2 and before is a safe bet, other than that I'm not sure
A clip holds onto ammunition, and a magazine (whether internal or detachable) encloses ammunition and is what the ammunition is fed from into the chamber. Can Jeremy Rants About Pokemon be an animated adventure. Holy fuck that was amazing.
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, I don't remember the hour I spent in the waiting room. But apparently I was reading, having conversations, and a bunch of stuff.
My new favorite thing is Jeremy explaining Animes. It's so fucking great.
I really want videos of Matt and Jeremy just watching the first pokemon season and just doing commentary/screaming at it. Pretty much I want Pokemon theater mode because it would be funny.
Jeremy the spokesman of Spyro hahaha
Can we talk about how amazing Jeremy's book is?
Lol jack is like the uncle watching his nephews
The comic Trevor is referring to about Wolverine killing his future self is from the Age of Ultron storyline. Wolverine had to do this because it would've created a time paradox had they both gone back to the same present, thus fracturing reality.
I love that pause after 'Milkable'
I watched 7 minutes of this in the RT Site, and I felt as if I was cheating on RUclips... mixed feelings right now haha :D
I Mr Cardinal I you cheater
Solo is a movie that fulfills the "Star Wars" feeling excellently. If you love Star Wars because of its special feeling, this one will do it for you.
Magnum just means BIG or really big so a magnum round is just a really big round so anytime there is a normal sized of powered round and someone makes a bigger and or more powerful version of that round it often at times is called a magnum.
1:17 As a matter of fact Trevor, I would have noticed that! Lol

when my dentist removed my wisdom teeth they gave me local anesthetic.
"If you've never tried drugs before, go for it.
The first 10 minutes felt like they were giving the audience “the talk” lol
I was surprised by how much i enjoyed this episode
Jeremy's rant about Pokemon might be the greatest rant ever.
Gotta say, I like this cast a lot more than the others. Still drinking game, shot everytime Trevor says "like"
Magnum only refers to the cartridge, usually games calling a gun a magnum is just indicating that it is loaded with magnum rounds
funny jack talks about how they started the raft while im in the middle of watching the raft finale XD
As their talking about harry potter i legit get a harry potter ad xD
As far as I know, Magnum is anything that is larger than it is supposed to be.
Frank Reynolds' Magnum Dong is just a Massive Dong. Magnums in reference to pistols are occasionally used in reference to physically large pistols, like the Deagle, but it's usually a variant/has been altered to fire larger caliber ammo than it normally would. Magnum rounds are bullets of a specific caliber but have been engineered to have a bigger impact
Hufflepuffs did you know are also Exceptionally good Finders
Find!
michael explains mountain monsters, then we have jeremy explains pokemon !!

Matt is wearing the same shirt Joe (from Cow Chop)wore on his last video by Cow Chop.
I bought Minecraft with an aol email when it was in alpha and lost the information for it, so now I can't get my copy of Minecraft anymore. Kill me.
Lol. What year was that?
They had an Ewok movie...The Ewok Adventure! LOL.
Can we please have a drunken Jeremy Recap at the end of every episode? That was amazing
I love seeing you guys grow and so far I like all the people y’all have brought in now to get a first membership....when I can afford it

I didn’t realize Hotmail was dead to the world. I use it all the time. I only have a gmail for RUclips and Pokémon go
Wow, my family's first ever computer circa 1998 came from the exact Gateway store Trevor mentioned.
Oh god this point of the year for AH is coming up again. There’s only gonna be 3 of them there at a time for months
I love watching Jack when people talk about something he has no clue about

Kylo Ren isn't Dark-side he's a temper-tantrum in human form
Is it just me or is the middle of the video laggy? It was buffered but kept glitching
Hi achievement hunters love the podcasts
Wolverine loses his healing power when they rip the metal from his skeleton and it overloads his ability.
Oh jeez, you're talking about dentist visits and I've got one coming up in just over a month...
So I looked it up and "Magnum" (meaning: "bigger") is used for guns/ammo that are better than a previous version of said gun/ammo.
I think the anime Matt mentions at @2:00:30 is Mawaru Penguindrum. (It's a very weird show... but good.)
Infinity cod piece 🤣
Guys, you should bring back the "versus", but now with the teams! And maybe using sugestions from the community for the games. Like two teams of two playing old age of empires..... I agree. I've been out of a job for too long. I need to tally up more VS Victories.
Sometimes... the thing behind those silly names aaaaaaare... “Traditiooooooon!”
Trevor your shirt is great and so was the album.
They have a newer comic series where they attempt to get wolverines body from the "tomb" "shrine" like thing and it was revealed that he wasnt infact dead and someone got out of the metal cacoone.
59:33 Haven't laughed that hard in a while
When it comes to Magnums in America, the teenager going to school with one doesn't distinguish the differences.
bullets go in magazines, clips are for your hair.
Danny phantoms gonna be one of the in-flight entertainment shows on my next flight!

I'm glad Jeremy addressed why he shaved his head and that he's trying out something to try and fix his hair loss
I was awake when they took out my wisdom teeth. Like here's some novacaine and the stuff they put on your nose time to slice and dice.
Rewatching this and I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed a week ago. I HATED coming back from being under anesthesia. Videos of me being "high" are hilarious but I threw up several times that day. Nashua was real and I looked like a bruised chipmunk for a few day.
Dentists aren't free in Australia.
They aren't considered healthcare, it's considered cosmetic.
For the part about Superman being turned gay by a "pink dwarf"- it is actually called Pink Kryptonite! And it turns all Kyrptonians homosexual!
Let me blow your mind. Rifle round. 7mm Remington magnum.
Weird how that affects people differently.
if you need a replacement for Gavin I am English and willing. I also have quite a large nose
snailorgy Is that what the L in your profile photo stands for?
snailorgy yea but your name is snailorgy...
I'd love to see "Young Justice, high school Attorney" for at least 1 season
jeremy looks like syd barrett during the breakdown
I'm more excited about the boba fett movie than I was about solo.
Apparently I fell off my bunk bed once. I have no memory of that happening. That's how hard I fell lol.
