Since clots from the legs that could cause a pulmonary embolism (clot in the lung) passes through the IVC, putting a filter in is a good way of preventing pulmonary emboli in patients who can’t have blood thinners (like trauma patients).

I’m semi familiar with blink-182… Feel like I’ve heard this guy‘s name before… First time I’ve ever seen him or heard him… I could listen to him talk all day long. I don’t know what it is about him but there’s such a calmness to him.
Best part about music is that it can have whatever meaning you want it to have. Artist writes it in their own meaning and how it relates to them, but as fans we can take it and use it for us to have it’s own meaning we want/need it to have. That’s why I’ve always liked rock/metal the most. Rap and other stuff too but rock/metal bands write their own music. Most of it is personal and to me just means more as it comes from a place of passion or sorrow. Beyoncé has 5 writers and the song means nothing personally to her other than making money. Country can be that way too where it’s all the same stuff. I don’t mind some blink but not a huge punk fan. Travis is a hell of a drummer though and respect for him as one of the better drummers out there. To me, music is my meditation. Brings me back to moments in my life. Gets me through hard times and good times. Helps the party go and helps you deal with loss. Does anything and everything for anyone who wants it. It’s worldwide and goes back forever. Love music.
