Very sad song - Brian May sang the last verse as Freddie never completed it. There will never be another Freddie Mercury - absolute legend. 😔
Yes. From what I understand is Freddie was tired and said he'd be back to finish. He never was able to come back. Just 5 months before his death. R.I.P.
@@nanner3200 Brian finished it beautifully
you all probably dont care but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid lost my account password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Seth Noah Instablaster :)
@Jamie Matthias i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
The last words Freddie Mercury recorded was this song. He didn’t even get to finish it before he died. The crazy part is that his last words he actually sung in this song was “I can take it if you see me cry... I long for peace before I die”.
Unbelievable.
Also the first ones. Going Back was the first time his voice was recorded on tape, before he was in Queen. Like in a circle that closes.
Actually his last words sung are "sweet mother love." Freddie's singing at the end is all from previous recordings. This is so phenomenal. Having seen 3 friends at the very end of their battle with AIDS, I'm stunned how this amazing man was able to do this at all. His legend will live forever. Thanks for doing this guys. 💛
Awwwwww Man 😩
These lines get to me too 😞
@@3ScotsInk
I thought his last words were ‘I think I’m going back to the things I learned so well in my youth’.
Pretty sure that last line is Freddie
The hardest part of this song is when you hear Brian come in for that final verse bc you know Freddie is gone
This song..... Freddie from mother love to Goin back, to a crying baby is like a cycle of life & him going backwards with his memories.... 💔 Love you Freddie... Forever 🌹
Freddie and Brian wrote this but you can hear Freddie's inner feelings as he knows he is very close to death. Freddie was so brave and so determined, he was an inspiration to many in life and in death. R.I.P. Freddie Mercury and thanks for the music.
I like to think it was a message to his mum, a personal message of love from mother to child, he was facing something terrifying, no matter how old you are, your mother equals safety, comfort and peace, it's perfection
In 100 years time, people will still be talking about and marveling at Queen and The Beatles.
Now that you have done his last song, you are ready for the song Brian wrote for him after he died. It is sung by Brian and Roger and it's the last time you will see Deacon with the band 😞 It's called " No One But You (Only The Good Die Young) (Official Video)" its a heart wrencher, a tear jerker, but also very touching at same time. You may as well react to it and get the band aid ripped off...have tissues 😂
I request this song to every Queen fan reactor and have yet to have one do it. Maybe the brothers will be the first?
That's a great song too.
@@nanner3200 JackThatBack (David) does that song . He’s an amazing reactor . Check him out
He had such strength right to the end. RIP Freddie. 😥
I cry everytime I hear this song. Absolutely beautiful man inside and out. Thanks guys.
Yes😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪Queen.
Freddie 😪🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷nr one.
How can you listen to this song without crying your f*ucking eyes out!? What a song! What a power Freddie had until the very end! No one will ever top him, the king of legends! ❤️
1000000000% true
...
I very rarely cry after listening to songs, but this one always gets me
4:48 But John Deacon's bass lines? Do we want to talk about it? Mamma mia .... wonderful ......
The sound of Freddie's soul flying towards eternity, towards something blissful ... magnificent ...
Brian wrote this on scraps of paper one line at a time. He handed them to Freddie & he sang each line 3 times with a drum machine. He was to weak to finish & he never came back. Brian had to finish the song off. If you haven’t done a Winters Tale” you should. Last one Freddie wrote & sung. The video with lyrics is beautiful. I just love both they make me go back & remember. 👑😢
YESSSS - A Winter’s Tale is gorgeous!!
A Favorite of mine Also A WINTERS TALE ♾️💯💖🌹👑💘💋
Winter's tale is the last Freddie wrote. Mother Love was the last he sung.
Such an emotional song. Always brings a tear to my eyes. Excellent finish on the last verse by Brian, it must have been tough. 🥺
Poor Brian, he was very depressed and suicidal after Freddie died.
Yeah Freddie was so ill and he could not finish this song... No words need. He is light, he is the world, he is everything...
NO WORDS NEED ❤
Indeed. I am no longer sad for a human once they cross over because I now know what you just so eloquently said. Pure Love.
Like your comment Elene 😢
I miss Freddie...have you seen the crowd at the greenday concert singing bohemian rhapsody while they wait for the concert to start? Freddie doesn’t even have to be there to control the crowd...😢💔🇨🇦🖖🏻
This song is haunting. Amazing artistry that comes from the soul.
Every time he says
“I long for Peace before I die”
The tears start
RIP to the greatest there will ever be
Yes!!!
Me, too! 😭😭
😢😢❤️
Breaks me every time.
Ugly crying for me every time….💔
What a voice! What more can you say, I mean c’mon it’s Freddie Mercury for goodness sake’s ❤️
Freddie ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪
The static at the end were nanosecond samples of every Queen song, ending with a song (Goin' Back) that Freddie recorded in 1972/73 and called himself Larry Lurex...a special project recorded separate from Queen, but still had Brian and Roger playing on it.
yes, it was rewind through all years with music to first song of Freddie - Goin' Back, and then - baby's crying. Cycle is completed. And also - it's symbol because the one who has actual Mother's Love is child
Going Back was taken from a Dusty Springfield song from 1966.
@@bigmallly7863 Yes, and as I understand it there have been several other covers, as well.
It is so hard to listen to this song knowing it was his last one -- this man who was so talented and gave so much of himself to his music and his thousands and thousands of fans, it's heartbreaking. Freddie left such a magnificent legacy of his music and his showmanship - anyone who saw him either live or on video will never forget his mesmerising presence on stage. You could never take your eyes off him. Not forgetting the other members of Queen of course - all brilliant musicians - we are so lucky to have had their music. Thanks so much for this reaction, guys, it was very moving and I think we just have to remember Freddie, in his heyday, giving us so much enjoyment with his music.
❤️❤️
He was magnificent, brilliant a good soul. He loved his fans, he loved the band, & Mary.
My God I could cry for days. Queen has been such a big part of my life.
We love you Freddie
Did you know that Brian sang the last verse because Freddie was not able to finish it? Please check out some of Brian's solo music.
I cry every time.
When Brian May takes over the vocals for dying Freddie. 😫😫
One of the greatest collaborations in rock history. Brian & Freddie were a force to be reckoned with. 💔
5 months later he was gone...Roger has remarked that going into the studio kept him alive. He wasn’t supposed to make it passed ‘89.
Awwww Man!! 😢
Being a die-hard Queen fan, I’ve purposely never listened to this song.
This will be my first listen. Miss you Freddie.
♥️🎶🎤Love This Song 🎤🎸♥️ Tears are flowing 😭😭😔 The video with lyrics is heartbreaking 💔💔
Without a doubt it is the saddest song of Queen ❤️ Greetings and I hope you continue to react more to Queen. 🤩🙏
Whenever I listen to this song, the only thing that gets me out of the sadness is to return to 70's Queen so I can relive the magic from the beginning. The energy, the joy, and the creative genius of Queen from day one brings me right around. I vote for Stone Cold Crazy Live at the Rainbow '74! You'll feel better. Promise.
Yes...thats exactly what I do..go to the seventies.
Freddies music will be around forever as long as people listen to music . When we are all dead and gone Freddie will still be here in his music
Beautiful, heartfelt reaction to a song I can only listen to very rarely. Freddie's voice...for me, that voice is magic.
We can say goodbye to him as much as possible and listen to the songs in his performance. There's nothing more we can do.
💗🌸💗🌸💗
Freddie left us far too early. The universe is cruel.
Awwww Man!! 😩 Every time I listen to this song I weep! 😩 Saw an interview with Roger Taylor who said that when Freddie hit those notes in the lines - “I’ve walked too long in this lonely lane ... “Out in the city in the cold world outside ...”Roger said “SPINE-CHILLING” 👑💗👑💗 Miss Freddie ☹️ 🎼🎼
He gave everything to the last😪
The best👑
🎸💯 😭 QUEEN‼🔥🤟
RIP Freddie darling. ❤🕊🙏
This song is so beautiful. It's hard to listen to because of the lyrics and we know it's his last. I cry every time. Freddie's singing is so amazing even when he was too weak to stand. He loved singing, Queen and his fans so much he gave us his music until he couldn't anymore.
Shortly before Freddie recorded Mother Love, he wrote a song that he managed to complete before he left Montreux to return home. It' s called A Winter's Tale and perfectly illustrates the magnificent spirit that he possessed. Please give it a listen.
Agreed. It's absolutely beautiful and outstanding that he could write something so optimistic and joyful. A true testament to his unbreakable spirit.
I never, ever listen to this song, it always makes me cry. But I made an exception just for your channel. I gave it a like. Now let’s see if I can make it through. He always felt his music, you hear it in song after song, and see it in every video and documentary. Yes we love him and we miss him. Every. Single. Day. Not many people you can actually say that about during your lifetime. Family members certainly, however mine led long and beautiful lives, and I spent a lot of time with them. I spent a lot of time with Freddie/Queen and their music too. He is gone as well, but way, way too soon. Just a few more years and there would have been medicine that would have saved his life. The timing of it all. You will find as you get older that life is short and you just never know. He was a beautiful man with a beautiful soul. ❤️
"Mother Love" was the final song co-written by Mercury and May, and was also Mercury's last vocal performance. Mercury's vocals were recorded between 13-16 May 1991 after the Innuendo sessions''.
Finally someone who knows hos stuff about Queen
@@chaos-fk6fs Thanks, but I copied and pasted it off Wikipedia.
This song does me in. I didn’t know whether to watch it or not. 😭 To know that Freddie had passed when Brian recorded the last verse, breaks my heart 💔
I'm here for Queen
Chills throughout this entire song! Hauntingly beautiful and incredibly sad! Brian’s guitar parts fit this song perfectly- weeping sound. The inner strength Freddie had was just astounding! I wish he could have held on longer for the new treatments but sadly it came too late. The end is gut wrenching! Freddie should still be here creating music & performing all these years! It is just so tragic and unfair. No one will ever compare to Freddie as a performer, creative genius, or a vocalist! The only King of Queen! Heartfelt reaction guys!
The King 🤟🌷
I love that they put in Freddie’s first recording, Goin Back, under the name Larry Lurex, toward the end. His first and last recording together.
They had recorded their demo in 71
72 their first album then he was asked to do the covers as larry lurex but it was released a month before their first album release 73
No words can describe how it felt when Freddie passed, but this song surely does. The legacy lives on to this day though and will go on. Thanks for this reaction.
Freddie sang to the end. Voice is weaker💛what a strong man. Imagine Brian had to finish the song.
at the end that fast jumbled sound was EVERY Queen song ever recorded played at once on super speed
I just love love your reactions to know what great music and genres were in my early years.. Freddie was a legend!! Keep rockin guy's to appreciate good music.. love you dudes..❤❤🎶🎵
Beautiful song and a testament to Freddie's amazing strength and will to create music till the end that he was able to hit those notes in the middle.
Thankyou guys!! Freddie was the g.o.a.t. Kept on going, untill he couldn't anymore. A performer and professional untill the very end. Sad, but also beautiful at the same time. Queen 4ever! They made so many great timeless music, a great legacy. Much bless and love to you.♥️
LEGEND NEVER DIES ✊
It's heart breaking he had to go through such pain n sadness he gave his all bless him R I P freddie x
You guys are legends of reactions of Queen i know Freddie looks down and see you 2 carry on his legacy to so many new generations fans of Quenn, thank you for your legend reactions for my favuoirt band of all time much love from Norway
Beautiful song
He was amazingly strong and positive until the end. I don’t know if you’ve reacted to ‘A Winter’s Tale’? Freddie wrote it at the end of his life, just before he returned to the UK to die. Some say he wrote it looking out from his hospital window, others from his apartment, either way he was looking out at his beloved Lake Geneva in Montreux. It is a list of all the beautiful things he saw and felt. The last line is “It’s bliss”! If a man dying can see and feel bliss, we should all stop complaining about the little day to day nothings. Such a gorgeous, inspirational song. Legend has it he recorded it in one take and the music video features his handwritten lyrics.
I believe that the last part was a compilation of every recording he ever made, compressed into that small time.
When my time comes i go to visit Freddie. ❤️
He was so passionate with his music 🎶 🤧 😭 makes me cry every time so sad he never finished it 😢
😢 I still love you.
An absolutely heartbreaking song.
Incredible Expression of courage! He was so brave, and his friends/ bandmates were his tight circle of protection. 💔
Genius!! Love Queen 👑
The fast forward section in the song is every Queen track he sang, "Going back" is the first song recorded with Queen as "Larry Lurex", the baby is I believe a metaphore as going back to the beginning of life.
I agree with your comments so much. I think all of us feel the same way. Musicians like Freddie are a gift to this world and I personally will always be grateful to him.
‘A Winter’s Tale’ is another song Freddie sang as he was near dear death 😔
Most people when they're told they have a fatal disease they make a bucket list and go sightseeing all over the world and do things but Freddie he just wanted to do what he loved, sing and make music, I for one am glad he did!!!! Wonderful music the last years
I think you will enjoy Queen - One Vision. They also release a short documentary (20 min) how One Vision was created. :)
Watch "Larry Lurex - Goin' Back" it was Freddie, Brian and Roger in 1973. They made experimental single with cover songs of Goin' Back and I Can Hear Music
We can hear at the end "Goin' Back"
Guys thank you for this reaction. Very quickly decided to put this song. This song has a special meaning for me. Thank you. This was pure enjoyment. Listen to this amazing man. Such powerful words. Pure feelings. Simply amazing. Thank you Freddy for everything.
Wonderful song. I get emotional everytime....i cried. I really sad he is not here. Thanx for your review. I LOVE THIS MEN INFINITELY .
( sorry for my english)
This song brings me tears every time
Bravo guys strong words you said in the end
Freddi proud🥰
I have lots of words in hearing this song, but they are so crowded in my heart but my heart can only speak in tears --- Freddie you will live forever.
He had to leave part through recording. He said he would come back to finish it but wasn’t able to so Brian had to finish it & sing the last verse
Brian dod such an amazing job piecing everything together, it must Have been so hard to work those hours worling with freddies voice now that he was gone. He did an amazing job taking over the 3rd verse to finish it.
I stood in the spot where he sang the verses to this song and listened to this song at the studios in Switzerland, it was heart wrenching.
That was Dr Brian May singing at the end as Freddie didn't make it back into the studio, they had three takes of each verse apart from the last one,it came out after he died, I think they bought out another two albums after his death with material he'd left behind, and they released around 15 in his lifetime, the end of this song is Freddie going back to being born hence the baby crying, and part of the Queen song about going back
Always brings a tear to my eye listening to This, Freddie was in so much pain and tired, is voice was a little weaker but still perfect. now you need to listen to No one But You (only the good die young) a song wrote by Brian May and sung by the rest if the band a tribute to Freddie, last time Deacy played with his friends, he was to heartbroken to carry on, they all loved Freddie so much.
Yes...he was a legend...to sing..when you are slowly dieing.
Stunning song and vocals! So sad he is gone. Never forgotten though!! Thanks for the reaction Bros! You Rock! 💕
❣️❣️❣️
You made a beautiful video guys. Your words were very moving. Thank you for sharing. This song says it all. He's going back to through the years back to when he was a baby and feeling safe with the love of his mother. Love how they included his Larry Lurex song. Love that song.
Well done Freddie RIP and also well done Brian. That must of been hard to do.
Let's react to "Exercises in free love" in there you can hear the true voice of Freddie Mercury
"I've walked too long in this lonely lane
I've had enough of this same old game
I'm a man of the world and they say that I'm strong
But my heart is heavy, and my hope is gone"🥺😢😭
Short story of this song, for everyone that doesn’t know:
Freddie was very ill whilst making this song, he only had 3 takes (that’s what I have heard) to do this entire song, he was doing it, but he got really tired and he said he will be back to finish the song. He never came back... he had passed away November 24th 1991. At the time they only had about half of the song finished by the time he died so that is why they put the guitar solo and that’s why Brian had to finish the rest of the song. His last vocal word was “love”. He never got to finish this song...
In the last part: "My body's aching, but I can't sleep. My dreams are the only company I keep. That's such a feeling as the sun goes down..." Freddie already died in that time so Brian had to sing his part instead. But Brian sounds so...sad and melancholic. He lost a friend and a brother.
Freddie Mercury is One Of A Kind‼‼‼ There will never be another like him❣🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I was that subscriber! Thank you so much for this reaction. :)
Just Woow , no words
Brian comes in towards the end. By then Fred is gone forever.. sobs
I am sobbing my eyes out. So hard to listen knowing how close he was to leaving forever. Such a brave man. That last part is chilling!!
"I don't wany pity just the safe place to hide" - it's unbelievable that Freddie in his condition could sang like THIS with THIS voice. Freddie is (yes, he still IS and always will be) the most incredible singer on this planet
Every time I hear this, I tell myself I'm not going to cry. And every bloody time I well up at the pain and emotion in Freddie's voice. And then Brian starts singing and I lose it..... every bloody time 😥
Freddie Mercury was a rock God, not only for the voice but, his song writing skills and incredible stage presence. I consider myself so lucky to have seen him live with Queen 3 times. The first time in the front row with him sweating on me, LOL!!! He is THAT good in person too! He also proved that he had incredible inner strength towards the end of his life. He truly did accomplish it all. I became a Queen fan when I heard them, long before they became really famous. I was a kid but even then I knew how incredible they were. I was honored to meet John Deacon oh so many years ago!! RIP Freddie, there are many of us who still enjoy the legacy you left behind and for that I will always be thankful. Thank you for your reaction, this song, Mother Love, is a masterpiece too!
I personally feel that the baby's cry at the end is Freddie's life coming full circle. Maybe born again in the next level?
He was very brave.
I cry everytime. Freddie gave it his all until he could no more. Music is what he lived for. Roger said it gave him something to get out of bed for... the mid section music gets me hard because at that section, particularly...you know from Freddie's last verse he had died....then Brian completed that last verse... Other band or singers would cancel for a bad cold, Freddie continues with a bad throat in Live Aid and still sings better than most dying...with Show must go on to Mother Love. He still reached that big voice. Propped up against the mixing desk. What a legend. And what strength he mustered. RIP Freddie darling.
Hello guys I love its content, I recommend you listen keep yourself alive to queen, it is a very good song from the beginning of the band, I hope you can do it, I love its content❤️
The very last part of this song is a snippet from a song Freddie covered in 1972 “Going Back” under the pseudonym name Larry Lurex.
How sad… beautiful Freddie
