- Lots of terminal attack hate right now, while i do miss the cash out tournaments I think the community is overreacting as a whole. In this video I talk about why they may have made the switch and what they could've done better.

Honestly, I think they should just have 3 separate ladders for a ranked version of each mode. I know I can't be alone in the desire for ranked power shift
fr i wanna see what meta evolves when ppl get serious on powershift. last time i managed to get a full team of heavies and we big bodied the shit out the other team.
@@learnshredguitar Imagine this for a possible change to power shift if it were to go comp mode. Defibs can rez, but have limited charges per match, healing beam works as norm. However time it takes to respawn are longer the more HP your class has an respawn time increases after each death (so as to not promote spawn rushing the platform with lights).
Also maybe give the platform a single thin pillar in the center to prevent a meta of 4 snipers an a heavy taking over, also to make zip lining on to that damn thing in koyoto easier. I swear once some5thing is destroyed there it's impossible to get back onto that platform.
Ranked Power Shift would be insane lol I cant imagine what sorta of whacky metas would pop up.

although i liked terminal attack when it was an LTM, i have not yet played it since the release of S3. It's already "risky" playing a PvP given it's much more likely to get infuriated at nonsense, i'm not gonna boost that probability by playing a high stakes mode with and against randoms or god forbid do something as insane as try ranked mode in a game i view as one of the chillest PvP shooters released in the past decade.
The finals may have a competitive lore and setting, but playing it competitively is the worst thing you can do for your mental health, that's not to mean it's a bad competitive game, it's just a way of saying to no longer take multiplayer shooters seriously, they've been thoroughly ruined and have been so for a long time.

Bruh I agree, some of these players take things wayyy too far… sick of getting scoped anytime I step out a building.. especially when I get no respawn
@@Ch1kch1k yea its terrible as is that my 21 second respawn resetting to a total of 36 seconds is completely dependant on a XP5 light player whose actively rushing into a full team with 20hp. This is also why I prefer Power Shift or Bank It most of the time. Cashout is the most competitive I'll get.

Everthings been fine my guy. Season 3 has just been really stale so I havent been playing much, but they did recently fix aim assist so i have been playing again. Will start working on the next one soon.

If embark wanted more money, Ranked TA was not the correct move, player counts are peaking lower than in s2

my fav stream went to twitch con and asked they why thay sed it was cus thay wanted to rework the chshout torment game mode and thats why we dont have it in s3 but it shood be back for s4

I love terminal attack; it removes so many of the elements I hated, but most importantly, how many times did you play a match perfectly only to have a lousy team die and respawn right after you wiped a team, jack your cash out, and lose? I solo qued to plat 1 for season one. I quit a month before season 1 ended and returned two weeks ago. I'm hooked.

i love rainbow because of the desctruction and the weapon handling now I love the finals because it has better destruction and its more fun and less sweatybut I don't want the rainbow gammode in the finals
I haven't seen any ACTUAL confirmation for it, but i can almost guarantee you, ranked TA and the "play 5 matches of TA" paywall, is 100% on Nexon. Embark have been VERY receptive to the community. So the fact that they've said next to nothing about ranked cashout, just confirms it for me. Please don't blame Embark. It's nexon's money-hungry thinking.
That's what I was thinking as well. At the end of the day unfortunately it's about making the shareholders happy.

I think that they should just make it that if you take damage till you are super low, you should regenerate health to 2/3 of that class’s health.
The thing that I was thinking is that they rushed about TA for adding it as ranked gamenode
There are several things that still need to be changed to make TA better
Like
Heavy being 100 HP well that's bullshit make the heavy ass guy regenerate back to 250 instead of 100
For medium make it to 200
In that case, a bunch of sniper won't be a total pain in ass or disabling a port of map completely so that a bunch of pesky camper doesn't ruin the game or run away to that parts of the map like a little bitch they are
As I said, there are several bullcrap that I can that might change the gamemode for good.
Yeah the current implementation seems hella rushed. It was for sure not ready to be THE gamemode.

Me as well, most of the time. Its intended to mimic it, but its not cashout and that's where the problem lies. I am positive standard rank will make a return soon though.
Honestly, the mode itself is okay-ish imo. I think what caused the problem the most is that it feels like they were sort of rushing their ass off making TA. There should’ve been some dedicated maps for TA only, maybe some different, yet careful balancing to the weapons and gadgets (so that the fucking RPG won’t 1 shot more than 2 ppl spontaneously). Like the more I play, the more it feels like the mode is not well-polished yk? They could’ve done so much better and convinced people that it’s indeed a good game mode, but they sort of lost the chance at this point i think.. at least do the patches more often and “try” to balance the game but now it just feels like the developers themselves don’t really listen to the feedbacks anymore cus there are too many crying babies
Yeah see this is one of my biggest criticism of TA at the moment. It just feels so forced. Like we would be having a totally different conversation rn if Terminal Attack itself had its own maps that were actually designed and built for it. Also Imma just say it we need more maps. I have nearly 100 hours on every map. 6 months in with a total of 6 maps all of which I have played to death is wild to me.

I’m not really sure why, but the world tour experience was never good for me this season, 2/3 times a teammate would just leave and never come back, and the rest 1/3 times, the entire lobby just feels unbalanced with completely new players mixed with experienced ones
The "Leavers" are pretty common this season for some reason. Like thanks for ruining for my experience as well lol

Terminal attack is just lasting to long it's not fun playing 8 rounds😢 I want 3 rounds and then stop
Its especially bad when your having an off game and dying early. So you end up spending like 7 rounds as a spectator.
Coming from a csgo player, that shit is literally so fast. If i cue for a game im used to playing for a solid next 40-1hr for a ranked.

i LOVE this mode so much, the feel of the game is very distinctly different from something like csgo or r6, it plays faster, movement is better, and the game is just nicer, and I love snd gamemodes, i really hope ranked TA stays.
Its definitely Nexon. It has to be. This is robs life work. He probably had the cashout mode as the vision for the game. So yeah. Maybe both will be ranked. Otherwise, world tour it is. I love this game too much

bro I like your take on it I've been saying their focus should be cash out but they should have a extra ranked game mode (kinda like RL) of TA and maybe Powershift and they could keep world tour in some way or some sort I kinda hope they dont take world tour out next season it's fun.
I like World Tour as an idea, they should really just keep the them of world tour and slap the rank system back on it.
Cash out is too random for ranked. Ta is perfect for the finals and makes winning or losing less random and more skill based cash out is fun but doesn't feel very rewarding when you lose to the team that only third partys at the last 5 seconds of the cash out
For me it’s all just like if you don’t wanna play the mode don’t play it. However they should have ranked for every mode and separate ladders.
I honestly just consider world tour as ranked and terminal attack as a gamemode as popular as bank it.
Great quality video, but "You're not gonna quit playing, I know this, you know this..." idk about that one, bold statement. I recently moved on from the game personally, and I'm seeing a lot of people follow suit. I had like 700+ hours in it in total so definitely want the game to do well, but WT and it's non-existent long-term progression couldn't carry my attention indefinitely. TA on the other hand, I just don't think it has enough for me to choose it over games like CS that perfected the formula.

And I hear you I was mainly poking fun at the subreddit where I see the same people post day in and day out about how much they hate the change but in the same hour will post a highlight clip. If people wanna take a break this season because of the ranked change I get it. Always good to give games a break every now and then anyway.
@@GoTTABEFR3SH Of course, if you're poking fun then I agree with idea underlying the joke, I see a lot of people being super dramatic about the game, when if you look at it objectively, it's a free game which you can come back to any time. They literally said they put TA in ranked so they can work on 3rd partying in cashout.
Itd be better if healing is allowed. No revives. Or make the defib single use. Mediums can be more useful rather than just placing turrets everywhere
I can get behind the Defib having limited charges, maybe 1 per round but it's only brings the revived back to 75hp or something alone those lines to prevent spam

Instead of team death match in our fun chaos shooter we get fake counter strike with reduced chaos. They want this to be that clip game like call of duty byt also want it ultra tactical somehow like counter strike? This game just needs to embrace chaos remove SBMM and add a team death match and free for all it will instantly get more success.
I remember them having a free for all and it not being very good, but a 5v5 deathmatch on a small map would bang

I just want a 10 man free for all. Be nice to see chaos while trying to also cause your own. I dont get why they restricted the loadouts if they let you swap in these kinda modes would add alot of playback.(
the free for all was an event that had pre made meduim loadouts if i remember right wasn't a fun loadout either. A normal TDM 5v5 sounds like what this game is made for. Find it odd its not an ootion atleast doesnt have to be the focus but would make sense for how your contestant earning fame. Give kills more meaning and slow the game down naturally but not in a negative way.

You gotta understand that quick cash can not ever be truly competitive when the overall meta is 3rd partying, it became very clear why quick cash shouldn't be the ranked game mode during twitch rivals

I hate the fact that you spend all this time doing two seasons of ranked, to then get fingered with TA. I think their problem is the fact that they change the game TOO much. The consistency of other big games is good, thats why updates take so long to come out with big games, its because big changes ruin the game. I want to play light and not have to worry about the fact that they will destroy it a month later. I want to play the same light as I did in season 1, but they keep nerfing everything.
Terminal attack is ok…. For sure not a game mode id play ranked….They limit the gadgets you can use. They should have a revive system like cyber attack from cod. If I wanted to play search and destroy I’d play cod, Csgo, or siege. TA feels like off brand search and destroy not like a staple for the game.. that being said all the other game modes are way more fun than terminal attack. It just terminal attack should not be ranked it should be LTMrs

If this gamemode is the future i gonna leave. They created a game which cant be compared to any other game yet they copy the gamemode from other popular ranked shooter games. It doesnt work. It isnt strategic att all. its random and boring.

Why R6 CS or SnD player want to play in gamemode that not properly balanced, don't have maps made for gamemode when they have R6 CS SnD already that have polished those modes for many years?
Well because finals is just cool. Movement and destruction combained on simple well known bomb game mode is just fun. Cs, rainbow six and finals are completly diferent games. I came back to the finals after like half a year brake and I have same fun as I hade in early R6 times but on completly diferent level. Cashout is great to, defenitly less sweaty but i love "simplicity" and less random aspect of terminal atack.

Cashout is less sweaty because its not ranked mode anymore and nothing major changed in this mode excit 3 rounds instead of 4. You literally casual player and you should not talk about ranked related stuff when your place in casual gamemodes because you are just straight up lying or don't know what you are talking about because there was an unranked version of cashout in s1 without sweats

Cashout is less sweaty because of construction of this game mode with respawns, healing, and more open and random structure of map. Terminal attack just makes you take a more tactical approach, and that's ok. Grow up, cos this gatekeeping talk of yours is crazy.

I just said that the game is cool, and I like its implementation of this classic game mode of SnD in the finals formula and how it's not 1:1 of any other game on the market, so players probably won't go back to other titles.
