What are the implications of pairing with the GT VTX and a large S6 battery? Any extra surge protection and or cooling required?

Looking forward to flying with it! Having lots of trouble updating the VRX- the Moonlight went easier. Any suggestions? It would be nice if VRX could access menus without powering on the Moonlight- it gets super hot very fast.

is it possible to record without vtx?
I have 2 v3 vtxs and i know there smaller but the hole patern is still the same,
1, is there a lead for the v3 vtx
2, will it work with the v3 vtx
3, what about that lead, it only pushs in the v3 and v2 vtx, it will shake loose?
so why it need different power source for the dvr board? can i just parallel it with the vtx source (9v)?
These instructions didn’t work with my v1 vtx. I had to install the latest beta firmware first on my vtx separately then copy the Moonlight fw with the txt file for Moonlight only update.
Hello, I just bought this model of camera and it is getting extremely hot. It gets up to 90 degrees when it's on the table and shuts down. Does your camera get hot? How can I cool the camera?
It's normal for the Moonlight VTX to get hot quickly when it's on Standby mode. When you fly a drone equipped with Moonlight VTX, the temperature is usually ok because of the airflow. You can use a vortex flow fan to cool down the VTX.

When will you finally get proper cooling in your new glasses? I’m now choosing a digital system for myself and for now I’m leaning more towards DJI because I don’t want my 400 bucks glasses to burn out the matrix from overheating like my friends
Believe that has been updated and fixed through firmware? not experiencing any heating issues on my end. You can go DJI but expect to drop much much more than $400 long term...if you have no issue with being locked in to a brand go for it.
@@Hotahseh all caddx needs to do is make a good cooling system and I will consider their system perfect for me ;)

I only have a positive experience so far. Even flying tiny whoops which are more prone to overheating issues
@@Hotahseh I haven't spent any money yet, but one of my friends has already replaced two Goggles X because of this problem.
Never had issues with Goggles X overheating. They fixed that a long time ago.
I accidentally bought this instead of the kit ... oh, well. more work for me :(
