I have both I am returning the pro if you set them both up corectly there is very little difference between the two the pro is better but not enough to pay what they are asking this is just my opinion

Thank you for an informative video! Focal length has nothing to do whether the camera is full frame or not. It has only to do with the sensor size.

"21mm which is basically a full frame" Nah you didn't understand the spec sheet they sent you.
21mm is the full frame equivalence of the field of view of the webcam. which is 90° diagonally.
I honestly think for the Casual person who watches youtube. They don't care what the resolution is as long as the video is clear. Most people I know just click on a RUclips video from their phone and they don't change the setting from 360 P to 4k. What do I think it's good to record in 4k absolutely. We all got to remember nowadays most people are consuming content on the smartphone I don't know too many people who are watching RUclips from their TV or from their computer like a desktop

At the start of the video when I Saw the image I already knew it was filmed with a facecam pro cuz the video was about it And the quality didn’t look like a dslr camera, But the mk.2 it’s just much better, in my opinion it looks more natural than the pro, And Even tho it’s not 4k, it’s half of the price
I actually have the regular Facecam and I really like it!
But once it's time for an upgrade, I'm definitely getting the Pro, and, I'm using your code too 🙂
How long have you had Facecam for? It's a great camera, but FCP takes it to the next level and honestly is one of the BEST - if not the BEST - webcam out there. Thanks! I currently have the Sony ZVE10 with a Sigma 16mm lens (although like I said in this video, the talking to camera pieces were filmed on the Facecam Pro. The B roll was my Sony)
Thank you so much for this great review and what the big thing is about 4K, plus Facecam Pro. Also looked like you may have been using a remote to control the camera, but I'll find those things out later, You've got me sold. Do to space considerations I'm limited to using a Webcam. Found that my old Logitech was better than the new ones, but Elgato has caught my eye, and soon my wallet. Thanks again have a super 2024 💖
I tried. I really tried. The Facecam Pro is hot garbage. No way to eliminate grain. I'm sticking with the insta360 link. Picture quality is miles above the FP Pro.

I do mainly higher resolution stuff on here so I've kept my eye on the Facecam Pro for some time. I do research other 4K camera technologies(especially ones that include HDR, as I've been experimenting with HDR Livestreams thanks to the recent OBS Beta update which does just that using NVENC HEVC, with moderate success)so I appreciate this comparison(although I came to see you in delightful 4K awesomeness-cause why not? 😊.) Hope you are doing well otherwise, and enjoying good games and whatever other awesome you are doing in your life!! I'm in the process of looking for another apartment, I'll be calling one for availability next month! I'm hopeful! (And it has fiber gigabit internet too hehe!)
