I just unboxed this plant! I ordered online and it arrived in 3 days on a cold January day. Yours is a lot bigger than mine and so pretty. I found your video while searching for care tips 😊 Thx for sharing your knowledge. Glad you suggested watering less. I’m notorious for frequent waterings.
Thank you for the video! I've had my Black Pagoda for almost 5 years, and it is my darling. My hubby left it outside 2 years ago, and almost killed it when the temp dipped below freezing overnight, but with some TLC, it has come back beautifully. I've been trying to find out what variety of lipstick plant it was this entire time, so I was so happy to find your video containing the answer.
ive had this plant for 5 years now and its now blooming twice a year. im in canada. my plant flowers in summer and also between november and january. i was surprised to see it bloom in winter. also, my flowers looks green but the inside is orange and purple. love it !!
Christina Kara Yes they are!! I really thought the flowers were gonna be red but then I saw they were green so was a little bummed but the leaves make up for it!!
I purchased a similar plant, initially thinking it's a Hoya. Still, I'm satisfied with the plant and took cuttings. I'm curious how the flowers will look like. It's good to know there are more varieties.
Christmas Snow Yeah I thought maybe it would have red flowers at first but after research saw what they look like. Mine still hasn’t bloomed yet but the leaves are so neat!!
Hi can you please help me? I just ordered a black pagoda and got it in the mail a week ago. It arrived with the leaves very soft, wilted, shriveled and lack of color and some leaves with no color on the bottom of the leaves. Do you have thoughts on this?
A year later and still helping out plant noobs hehe this is my 3rd plant and I’m excited to see it progress thanks for the info

It’s probably severely dehydrated. If I could see a picture I could probably figure it out but I don’t think there is a way
