Thanks for the video! Can I add it over decals that have already been placed? Also can I just cut a square to place over the decal instead of doing an offset? I have some mugs that I want to make dishwasher safe but don't want to go through the struggle of removing the decal.
I tried cutting this shield on the Cricut using the Premium outdoor vinyl setting with MORE pressure and it won't miss all the way, what is the setting to use in CRICUT to cut this protective shield?
I use "glitter iron on, more pressure" for everything thick and it cuts great. I cut some of this out a few days ago on that setting and didn't have any issues
Is it possible to put the vinyl shield over the piece of vinyl before cutting on the Cricut? that way it can cut both vinyl and shield at the same time? without having to do the offset on the design?
Your table is glitter, your nails are glitter, and your design is glitter. You are my bling soul sister,😁
yesss! I love anything that shimmers 😄
I’m a year late, but Thanks for the vinyl shield share! Great tutorial

Th vinyl sheild having an offset that is greater than the design is part of what helps id protect the vinyl :)
thanks, I read that in another comment after my question! lol @@SimplySarah_MadeEasy
That's ok! I paid someone in a destash group to make me one.
Did you cut it as an offset?
Yup. I added an offset. :)
Thank you for Tutorials
Glad they are helpful :)
Is this design available for purchase?
This is the script font I used. I didn't ever list this design :) #ad fontbundles.net/irf-lab-studio/1246830-family-holiday?ref=HYukK4
Have you tried applying the clear shield on top of the vinyl and cutting them together as one? Is that possible?
They need to be cut separate so that the shield has an offset :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy Are you serious? So the clear shield needs an offset? Oh geez!! What a headache!! How much of an offset do you recommend?
@@gasmith7486 without an offset water would get to your edges. Its super easy though.
Hi could you please do a video on how to use this font in brother canvas workspace? , thanks, Tina
Sure. I can put that on my list of videos to make :)
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy thank you.
Has anyone actually tried this? I'd love to know if it really holds in the dishwasher
