that sound of the drum is like a heartbeat to me. Pow wows mean a lot to me and I will never stop going to Powwows. Not even to have everything I ever wanted. There is no words to describe how I feel about Powwows. God bless the native people
These music and dances generate so many emotions in me, this is truly the earth's heartbeat. Even if I am not native myself I've been interested in this culture since when I was a little child, thanks to my grandma for making me listen to native songs while I was growing up. Love and admiration from Italy, this rhythm and singing is pure magic
I feel the same. I’m blessed to be of Cherokee decent and feel so close to it when I see these. I think this is why I love nature so much, I would probably live outside if it wasn’t for my family lol
Pow Wows are so freakin cool. If you are Native you are so lucky to have such a RICH history and culture. Absolutely incredible. Side note, anyone else cry watching these videos? I have no explanation for it. Super weird I always get emotional when I watch videos like this.
This is amazing!! My great grandfather's grandfather was full blooded Chippewa!! I have some native American in me!! But when I hear native American music I get emotional cause it's wonderful! I get a lot of people asking me if I have native American in me!! I want to learn more about this!! My dad looks more native American! It makes me feel happy when hearing native American music!! It's beautiful!!
2017 was the very first Pow-wow my husband and I attended there. We have already made our Reservations for 2018. Love everything about the dances and the people. Caring, Loving and Friendly and Beautiful people.
The last couple years I have found out that I'm half Cherokee on my biological mother side. Even though I have never met any of my family. Hoping to one day watching these powwows makes me feel closer to my people even though I never grew up around any of it much love from Arizona
I went to one of these when I was 8, and it was a purely spiritual experience. I watch this now at 32, and it is a purely spiritual experience. The regalia they have on is insanely intricate and beautiful. Call me racist, but Native Americans are the most wonderful "part" of our species.

I attended a powwow in my area recently, it was sublime. The music was wonderful and everyone was nice and even though I was a little confused about all the rules at the end I planned to go back next year. Celebrating culture is a great way to teach people new things.
This is absolutely beautiful! I love seeing individuals coming together to embrace their heritage and their culture. I have Cherokee heritage but my blood quantum does not label me as such. I take great pride in knowing where I come from and learning about my family's culture and background.
There's nothing better than dancing to the beat of the drum. Getting out there and having a dang good time. I dance Jingle, as well as Fancy shawl. XD It's great to be Native American! Haho!
grass dance, the original shuffling. Everyday the natives are shuffling. I'm from the Philippines and the outfits they have here reminds me of the aboriginals back home and the dances reminded me of why I love our own traditional dances and why I fell i love doing tahitian and hula. There's something about dances and chants peformed for the world around us that tugs at the heart. Like, a welcome home kinda feeling.
+Seventh Era Production THANK YOU, out here in navajo land, tried the pow wows don't feel like I belong, the beat was never right to me, I found it, just cleansed my soul, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very proud to have Cherokee blood running through my veins , I never feel truly close to anything until I hear the music the songs and the stories and see the dance. It lifts my spirit and swells my heart
I can relate to the bellow's note concerning his deep feelings concerning the drums and singing of the above natives, how wonderful they still are 'active' and these shows prove it!
I like the fact that this is something for young and old. It certainly would draw a family, community, culture together. Good way to instill pride, confidence and a sense of belonging into the young ones growing up.
For some of the comments say they want to know more about Indian Native American. . . you can watch video of [500 Nations ~ The native ametican] it tells about (every) Indian Nation in USA. This Cherokee Pow Wow is my first watching. Thanks for sharing
I've never been able to make it to any of the pow wows my family has invited me to because I live in Connecticut ☹️. I can't wait to go this year, love being Cherokee ❤️
I loved that! It's awesome that they are welcoming to other races too. I saw a lot of white people in the crowd at the very beginning, plus the black and white girls who danced at the very end.
Nice story and so beautiful to see. Just a note... the crane is North America´s highest flying bird. Griffon vulture is World´s highest but those would not have been in the U.S. The eagle is the largest bird of prey. Thanks for the video.

Dedicated to those that walked the Trail of tears ---
The demons became real
many a years ago
many a moons past
with an degree
that sent them to march
march from their home
march from their land
with nothing in hand
certain to nothing
the greed for land
the power to desecrate
they marched to oblivion
they left a trail
the trail of their souls
a trail upon mother earth
feeding it with tears and blood
we now recall them only
in small memory
the brave of the past
songs have been written
history has been told
they where proud
they where bold
and yet they died so cold
we remember them only in movies
we hear not their souls cry
the plea to face the truth
we dont walk the trail
to honor their might nor their plight
for me they are living
in my dreams
for me they are
the trail of tears
for me they are so real
