Could you please share which other boards you've had? I am thiking of getting this board too, even though in general it seems like many budget foam stuffed boards, somehow this one sounds exactly the way I would like, at least over the video. I have NEO65 btw.
@@Harambe8 I have a Keychron Q1 max. I did tape mod, new switches, and tape in a few areas where there was metal on metal and now it sounds close to this one. But straight out of the box it seems the gem80 from nuphy sounds soo similar.
I'm a die hard milky yellow pro's fan. I've used them in my last 5 keyboards. I've been wanting to switch to the Oil kings, but I'm just gonna stick with my milky yellows edit: I now have Gateron Oil Kings and they are my new favorite.
@@nielashleycapili4379as far as I’m concerned, both are very stable. However the oil kings have a slightly higher actuation and bottom-out force compared to the milky yellows.
Got both right now. I prefer the Milky Yellow, but I do have an urge to swap back to Oil Kings. Maybe I'll change my mind again. I will say my favourite is the WS Morandis.
I have both, my first one was the milky yellows that i use on a daily basis for about 3 years now…..i just got a new keychron v3 with knob - i then installed the oil king v2………maybe im not use to it but i tend to go back to my old keyboard with the milky yellows. I guess the oil king is just a tad harder or milkier to press and its hard to daily for 8hrs causing finger fatigue…the oil king is very pricey and the feel doesn’t warrant the price. They should be priced the same really
Thanks for sharing your experience. The oil king is indeed a slightly heavier switch, although I have to admit that they are relatively more well factory lubed.
im using a rainy75 too, considering of opting for one or of these switches after your video. But quick question, were there any mods done on yours rainy75, thanks alot
Just the milky yellows. In theory Gateron milky yellow pros should be better, but how much better and whether it's worth the upgrade is a big question mark.
Does the oil king kill rgb and if so can you please make a vid with oil king on white colored rgb and then the milky yellows with white colored rgb (btw awesome vid u earned a new sub)
Wanted to know if there is a switch in between the hmx zeiwei and the milky yellows like not as deep as the yellows but not too clacky as the hmx any options?
Im one of those who has both lol even paid extra to get the oil kings diamond polished xD but honestly cant quite get into them. They're smooth af but it just isnt my style. Preferring the morandis and yellows
XD interesting. I guess it’s a reminder to all of us that more expensive doesn’t mean it will fit us better, in the context of switches and keyboards :)
Out of all keyboards, this is the best sounding one I’ve ever heard. Either switch.

Considering that the oil kings are 3x the price of the milky yellows, which one would you choose?
milky yellow ofc. I barely notice the difference in sound, unlike that 3x price.
How about the feel? Which is more stable?

Am I crazy or are the milkies slightly deeper on this?
I’m also surprised at how the milky yellows are able to sound so close to the oil kings and even deeper while being so much cheaper
You are not alone. I noticed that also! Now I feel like shit for spending triple the amount lol.
The Rainy75 is also now available for preorder on KeebsForAll: keebsforall.com/products/rainy75-keyboard (not sponsored)
Nice video! Looking forward to use oil king for my next board. Also thats a really nice looking keycaps, may I know what are those sir?
Thank you! Those are stock keycaps which came with the keyboard :D

Nope there weren’t any mods done to this keyboard, you can say it’s stock with the plate foam, pe foam and case foam inside.
I tried epsilon and oil king switch, but sound no same this video bro. I think this video use any mod or sound effect microphone?
@@NpNp24165 the same switch is gonna sound different on different keyboards
@@MechWhisper I use rainy75 same board !!!
@@NpNp24165 did u use a table mat?
Are these yellow pros or just milky? Which one do you prefer? I have the oil kings and thinking of getting milky yellow pro.

MMD Princess Linear V2 could be in that spot
also when i click on the link for milky yellows it says on aliexpress milky PRO yellow. does that mean that its the milky yellow pros?
Yes milky yellow pro :)
@@MechWhisper so is this one milky yellow or milky yellow pro cuz I want this exact sound, thanks
@@MechWhisper cuz it says KS-3X1 Pro V2 Milky Yellow, and, KS-3X47 Milky Yellow so which ones in this vid? thanks again
i like the oil king but i love rgb aswell, and alternative for the oil king but that can still diffuse RGB?
maybe gateron smoothie?
did you lube the milky yellows or do they sound this well with the factory lube? if they're factory lubed, are they scratchy?
factory lubed, they are pretty smooth out of the box
Is the milky yellow pro better than WS morandi? Which one will you choose for thocky build or creamy build?
Milky yellow if I want a softer bottom out and Morandi if I want a louder thock
considering the price, milky yellow pro wins this imo
Milky yellow is more value for money :)
