    Finally, someone does this comparison! I have the exact board shown with the Crescent AKA New Moon switches. Honestly, in person it sounds more like the Ice Vein switches sound in the video. Or maybe in between the Ice Vein and Crescent. They have a pretty pleasant sound to me. A little thock, a little click, not scratchy. I think the Reaper switches sound the worst of the bunch, but still good. I think if anyone wants a heavier switch, they should go with the reaper. If they want a lighter switch and the most thock, Crescent. If they want a lighter switch and a little more click, the Crescent. All are good switches and the Aula F75 itself is amazing!

      Any change of thoughts on the Crescent switches? Im confused between either going with this or the Reaper.

    • @802Garage
      @802Garage 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@humayunmir7530 It took me a bit to get used to not resting my fingers on the board as heavily as I used to, as I would find myself accidentally holding down a key or two occasionally. Otherwise, the switches don't feel too light to me anymore and they are holding up great to a ton of typing and gaming. I'd say they sound slightly scratchier as the lube has been worked away, but still great overall and pretty creamy. I think if you want a slightly louder and heavier switch then go Reaper. Closer to typical for a gaming keyboard. I think the Crescent are better overall for less fatigue and a creamier sound. That said, I don't have the Reapers in front of me to compare, and I think they are quite similar. If you can get one or the other for a much better price, go that way. I hunted deals until I got a great price on mine.

I don’t really use the software to mod buttons so I didn’t really try it. But honestly I think for what I paid (40€) it has nothing less to some expensive keyboard brand . Probably only an aluminum case one could be better .

      Don’t worry about the switch lube wearing off, typically a thin layer of lube is sufficient

    Hello, i can’t choose between the graywood v4 and ice vein. On your perspective, which one will you choose?

    • @MechWhisper
      @MechWhisper  6 месяцев назад +1

      Ice vein feels lighter than the graywood v4, the graywood feels more “bouncy” and requires more force when typing which could mean it’s less prone to typing errors. Both are very well factory lubed, buttery smooth.

    • @MechWhisper
      @MechWhisper  4 месяца назад

      It’s not tactile for sure, I prefer the ice vein for the deeper sound. It’s also slightly better for gaming theoretically if you compare the specs. Reaper would be better if you prefer clack, and it’s cheaper if I’m not wrong.
