ഒരു സംരംഭക കുടുംബത്തിലായിരുന്നു ബിനുവിന്റെ ജനനം. മെഡിക്കൽ എൻജിനീയറിങ് പഠിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പിതാവിന്റെ സുഹൃത്തിനുണ്ടായ അപകടവും അതിന് വേണ്ടിവന്ന മെഡിക്കൽ ഉപകരണത്തിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങളാണ് സംരംഭക എന്ന നിലയിലേക്ക് എത്തിച്ചത്. അസംസ്‌കൃത വസ്തുക്കൾ നൽകി മറ്റൊരു സ്ഥാപനത്തെക്കൊണ്ടാണ് ഉൽപന്നങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്നത്. പിന്നീട് കൂടുതൽ മെഡിക്കൽ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ മാർക്കറ്റിൽ എത്തിക്കാൻ ആരംഭിച്ചു. പത്ത് ജീവനക്കാരായിരുന്നു ഒപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.
