So, Sekiro was not than hard at the end... Nothing compared with Ninja Gaiden.

But, for me personally, from the moment i played it (10 years old), and still today, its greatest quality and gift to the gaming world is its atmosphere. No game for me has ever captured the feeling the journey throughout Tairon, with the soundtrack and its uncompromising alleys gave. ⚡
I've played this game back on high school 2011 and here's the fun part....I had exam next week instead studying I was playing it th whole week and couldn't finish it because it was soo hard and fun but I managed to finish the game later after soo many times attempts totally worth it.
I remember buying Ninja Gaiden (didn't play/buy Black Edition lol) this day 1 in 2004 when I was a sophmore in college, was so refreshing to have a "hard" game like I remembered from the late 80's/early 90's.

I have too say Black was outstanding. Also as a seasoned player to begin the black journey through the combat or tower(its been awhile lol) that was tough. I played and beat the game on the hardest difficulty which took forever and yet playing the tournament mode was insanely tough. I'd it though.
The game takes a dip in quality during those underground levels where it almost feels like you're Indiana Jones. Mostly because of the zombie type enemies. A game with a fast paced combat system needs fast paced enemies to keep it engaging. Those damage sponge zombie types basically put me to sleep lol

I’ve watched my dad play this game when I was a little kid and he would always tell me to play the hard mode Bc that’s the one he always beat it on but I couldn’t do it I could only do normal and I’ve beat it at least 30 times in my life
The fact that dark souls is the norm for difficult games nowadays disgusts me tbh Bc ninja gaiden, dmc3 and god of war were much harder better yet much more enjoyable They encouraged skill than “git gud” Now its all about that stamina mechanic and everyone acts like this is the pinnacle of hardness in gaming Hell no, not for me
Jesus Christ I was so fucking stupid. The puzzle at 1:38:48 made me so frustrated as a kid that I cried and I never got past it. Just as well though, the difficulty later on probably would have put me in a coma.
I swear to god this verison of game is so much harder than sigma version, which was first verison i played of ninja gaiden, when version came up in xbox one store i gave it try and said fuck this, sigma was hard enough.
I finished it years ago. I tried revisiting it now and got stuck on chapter 12 the annoying bit with the levers and the big long jumps that you had to do. I had to look at this video to figure what I was supposed to do and still couldn't do it because I couldn't do the damn jumps. It's so ridiculous because in all of the game there are no long jumps then all of a sudden they decide to throw in an extremely annoying lever puzzle and nearly impossible to do jumps. The camera is so bad it makes it impossible to know where the hell to jump from because you can't even see the edge of the ledge and the jump controls are so awkward you end up going backwards and having to restart again. I absolutely hate that. I'm glad they don't make games like this anymore. It absolutely ruined the pacing of the game. Those stupid annoying puzzles.

I played the Ninja Gaiden Sigma for PS3. It doesn't have the same feel as NG B. The graphics looks deteriorated in some areas.

I never understood the first part where the house burns and Ryu dies. The Bird brings him back to life right?
And what happens to Ryu in the last scene? Why he doesn't stay with Rachel? That's why I am convinced that NG2 and NG3 are prequels to this story.
