- Paint a Happy Spring Flower Easter Egg with me! This is a full tutorial for beginners. In this video I'll channel Bob Ross, discuss COVID 19 for a bit, realize it's April, and make a cheerful dotted spring flower Easter Egg.
The biggest tip with painting eggs is to be patient and "let it dry" in sections so you don't smear the paint when you hold it. I use one stylus tool and one applicator bottle, but you can use brushes if you'd like. I hope you all have fun with this one.

How utterly delightful the video has been. I am just about to start dotting for the first time. I wish I had looked at more videos to choose the best materials, however as you would say a mistake can be turned round to a positive.

I really like the makeup brushes for this kind of project. I have a set that I purchased from either the $ Store or at Walmart they are so soft.and spread the paint smoothly and evenly !

what tool do you use for the dots
Do you have to use a silicone to do this? If so, what can you use in replacement.
You don’t need silicone tools. Stylus tools will also work. If you want to try dotting with toothpicks, q tips, skewers, and pencils you can do that too 😊 Upgrade when you love it 👍✨
Can you use the paintable cardboard eggs for this?
Oh yeah cardboard eggs will work for this : )
