Donnie Shatz can flat out drive a sprint car period. It is awesome when you do these videos with all the stars. I would like to see a stats comparison between Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Doug Wolfgang and Donnie Shatz 🤔 thanks for all you do for us sprint car fans. Was Shane Stewart with Larson-marks racing in 2015? That is of interest to me, Kyle and Justin marks of Trackhouse used to be joint team owners,, how amazing would it be to see the LMR # 2 car back in High Limit for 2025…the idea leaves me giddy..!!!

Awesome that you put this up. Me & my kids were at Tulare Thunderbowl Saturday. There was a table with all the top drivers signing pictures & talking to the fans. My 11 year old son told Donny that he really likes his car. He really seemed to like that. We bought my son some of his merch. I’ll have to show him this video when he gets out of school.

He won his last title at 42 and will most likely never win another. He hasn't won more than 5 races since 2020. He will probably retire within 2-3 years. It's really not even close.
I think it is very close. The time when Donny did it everyone on the Outlaw tour had equipment that was very equal. Steve did it when he had equipment that was FAR superior to his competition. I’m new to the sport and find myself filled with questions? FLOracing did a short video in 2020 titled “ Kyle Larson, the greatest dirt track season ever”, so they must have made a mistake then, it should have been Donny schatz in 2015?
Steve Kinser’s 1987 season is one to consider. Steve won 46 of the 69 WoO A-mains. That year he won 24 of the last 26. When the season ended he had a won a total of 56 sprint car features.

Steve Kinser has won at least 5 straight on 10 different occasions, including 3 times in 1987 alone.
