Wow! Erudite, interesting and just such a great player... The first 2 Suede albums are just so different from everything else that was out there at the time and you only have to compare anything they've written since to appreciate how unique and special Bernard's contributions were... His first solo album also really summed it up. Still sounding amazing.

So true, the first 2 Suede albums were in my personal opinion the best.

Still one of the most underrated cats from that golden time in the 90’s.
    Thanks for everything.
Keep doing your thing BB, don’t go anywhere, please stay.

Yes. It's not just The Two Of Us that understand this.

Agree, but I think its an American oversight, In England, he was voted guitarist of the century by NME I believe, and he heads or instructs at Abbey Road studios. Probably because he is low key. Youll find alot if his stuff if you look, like Aimee Manns im with stupid and Mark Eitzel, Ben Watts, all lovely guitar work.

Anyone remember the inner lp sleeve that said ‘Home recording is killing music - and it’s illegal!’ ? They used the silhouette of a cassette as the skull in a skull and crossbones.
