- I gave ChatGPT $2000 to invest in cryptocurrencies with and in this video i'll explain how we built the trading algorithm and what the returns looked like after 24 hours of live trading. First, a disclaimer - Do NOT invest any money in any type of trading bot or algorithmic engine that you are not willing to lose. I gave this trading bot $2000 because I was willing to lose $2000 to make a great video for my AI Wizards out there. Prompt Engineering techniques like sequence prompting and few shot prompting are becoming more and more relevant, as we can use them to feed multiple data sources into a single prompt with the right prompt tuning. I'll use snscrape for twitter data, coingecko for price data, pinecone for database storage, openai for prediction, and presearch to reinvest my earnings and support Decentralized Search. I've worked in a huge hedgefund and I can tell you that the challenge of retail trades is that we're up against huge institutions huge banks who have the brightest data analysts, biggest and most super computers and super technologies and can even buy retail traders data and know what exactly orders the market is made of and we the retailers are just here with our basic laptops 😂 and we're trying to understand the market without knowing that by default we can never beat the makers of the market.

I've always thought the idea was to buy something when it's cheapest, wait 10 months or whatever and sell it. ATI stock would be most expensive just before it releases a new tech and it drops off quickly from there. You would wait for that, and then buy it and sell it just before it releases its next tech. You can make money short time like this?
The idea is to own €100M worth of bitcoin, sell it all and dump the value. Buy etherum increase the value, dump etherum, buy bitcoin cheaper. Rinse repeat. Basically literally stock manipulation.

The point is that its still unclear whether prompt tuning can fully replace model tuning for improving predictive performance of machine learning systems, but i'm hopeful that it will with bigger LLMs.
