- Let's build a demo Finance application using ChatGPT! In this video, we'll use ChatGPT to build a cross platform mobile app that connects to a users bank transaction history and analyzes which potential tax savings could be made into a report. This is a 5 step tutorial to build a template that uses test data on an end to end pipeline using Plaid, Firebase, GPT-3, and Flutter. This is not ready for actual sales yet, again it's only using test data, but i hope you can use this as a template to build your own finance startup. Make some profit and come back here and tell us about it!

On your complete version on colab. I get an error when trying to run it
great vid.i watched till the end but no rap video ;) . I'm just not sure how this platform scales by using 3rd party API. Or any platforms in general. Also, how would this "stacked" codebase affect debugging or scaling of backend ie redesigning of database or directing traffic using CDNs etc. Would it be a mess to access using solely Dart or go into Xcode or Java? I probably could stackoverflow these shit, but just some thoughts while watching.
Also, I suppose one has to pay some sort of business fees (to OpenAI or plaid) or regulate the "pinging period" for the free API access?

Thanks! Lots of saas businesses are built on 3rd party APIs. The idea is to start there, get users, then roll our own version eventually. Debugging is hell for very platform specific features like iOS 14 camera but if it’s straightforward dart is ideal

@@SirajRaval Let me try to explain it. [Let's say we did a marketing campaign and we collected leads. Now we need to get in contact with those leads in order to close deals. (through chat or calls but I'd prefer chat since it's AI) So that the bot can help to close deals automatically with the prospect and we can assist only with some documents if the prospects ask for it..] I mean something like that 🤔

Good point. Plaid is heavily regulated though. DeFi is still better, tutorial on that soon
@Siraj Raval "regulation" covers some things but not other things people would object to if they knew. No transparency means guaranteed abuse of information.

Not secure: with this app, the secret key could be extracted from the client and basically anyone could have free unlimited access to our paid GPT API.
Better security is needed, will keep in mind for next videos

0:19 Firebase isn't a database. It is a BAAS (Backend as a service). Man how do people say wrong things so confidentially? Firestore and Realtime-Databases are the databases provided by Firebase.
Why are you so sarcastic in your comment. Can't you just appreciate his video. Backend as a service vs. database, why do you care so much to correct. Chill out
FIrebase does offer more than just a database. good feedback, will do better next week!
Firebase's first product was the Firebase Realtime Database. Most old timers still call it Firebase and that's fine. When you're explaining things to a young or learning audience you want to keep things simple and in this context it's fine to refer it as a database
