You know, there was a time when the very idea of computers with tempered glass side panels and colored lighting would elicit that same sort of derision. Today, those sort of PC mods are commonplace and a booming industry. 3d printing is a makers hobby and our printers are often personalized and customized for our individual needs. You might not see a need an underglow mod, but I assure you that there is someone who is using the idea and making their own personalized version.
Thanks for the informative video. Where are the Thingiverse links? Looking for the switch and buck converter stls. Thanks
Yes, not appeared as mentioned in the video.
For the 24->12v converter search aliexpress for " LM2596 step down small", the little green ones. That's more than enough for a small led strip.
Thank you for the video, been looking for a way to add some light to the printer.
I like the underglow idea... I think I need to copy that!
Is there and STL to the V Slot LED Strip mounts for the underglow?
Hey great video. Do you have the link to get the STL files for the rocker switch boxes?
Hello, thank you for the video, please where are the Thingiverse links? Looking for the buck converter stls. Please helpme. Thank
Cheers for the video mate!
Just install 24 volts led.
Nice work! I think I'd use vandal switches, but that's just because I'm anal.
Love the clean sleeved cabling!
