Can we just appreciate the fact that we have a hero shooter with ACTUAL BRAWLERS!!! Like I love the fact that most of the non projectile characters like Hulk, Black Panther, and Wolverine are actually using their fists and blades to rather than just giving everyone a gun and calling it a day. Really makes the characters feel more unique.
I agree I know the genre is techincally a hero shooter, but the game honestly feels more like marvel characters just fighting it out rather than a shooting game.
Yaaaas, and they are the most fun characters imo. They are not easy to master but are extremely deadly. Hulk is more safe due to being a tank, but many underestimated Black Panther until they actually started fighting the ones that knew what they were doing with him, especially when the supports get targeted! High risk/skill, high reward. He's one of my mains Duelists and I know that both Iron Fist (he looks so good) and Wolverine will be too.
Dont forget Ironfist lol. It's great but I would separate duelists into brawlers and shooters or something like that, Wolverine and Widow in the same role feels weird
That is so sad. The term " hero shooter" was a Gearbox term for their game Battleborn. They actual had brawlers in their game. So this concept is not really new.

The amount of effort and though they have already done with the community and the road maps make me finally feel for the first time in years, I'm cared about as a player and my opinion's mean something. And its crazy to think if u can make a game that's good and take care of your player base you will have a crazy popular game. Oof, I know people were hoping he would be a vanguard. So many duelest already. But it looks like he could be an off tank after watching him tank 2 ults lol. A healing regen tank going on a rampage like Junker queen would have been very fitting for his kit.

Small detail I haven’t seen anybody else talk abt is how he has claws covers (not sure what else to call them lol) without gloves. His claw covers being a part of his actual body has been retconned a few times. It’s cool they decided to go with that design.
Those are claw holes stuck between the openings to stop the skin from healing every time he pulls his claws back in and out. This design was inspired from the old 90's x men show.
It's actually crazy how they let all melee characters look so dominant and unique! His abilities are just like I want them to be like for ma boy Wolverine, he looks tuff!

@@Dr4kiZaR the next five characters are pretty much confirmed to be 2 tanks, 2 strategists and 1 dps. every game like this has way more duelists than supports or tanks since its way easier to make them and they dont impact the game as much. making tanks or supports that feel different is really hard and takes tons of time if you want them to be balanced. every role in the game already has a great roster with lots of choices so its not that big of a deal. also, dont forget that people have expectations of these characters. a slow wolverine that protects his team doesnt really work, the same goes for all the other recent releases. just enjoy your free game with amazing characters instead of being negative before the game even releases.

Venom is probably the most fun tank i have seen in any game, especially with that web swing ability. if ultron really is the next support i hope they take their time and make him as awesome as possible. im just so hyped for this game, been a long time since a free game looked this fun and i dont understand people who are already complaining like this before the game even releases. im glad most people are like us and are just excited!
I like that his design is kinda reminiscent of the way Logan looked in that early 2000s X-Men anime not a lot of people watched, by making his costume into a jacket. That way fans of grounded Wolverine can be happy, and fans of comic Wolverine can also be happy. The two can shake hands at this design.

Even now, they’re still creating characters from those concepts - I believe Hazard was repurposed from an old concept called “Phreak”. The real reason OW fell behind is because for 3 years they put the game on life support. From 2019 - 2022 there was no new content while they tried to work on its failed PvE / Story Mode. In that time they could have put out 9 new heroes, but that’s not how it went.

I think in this clip we see two things, his e skill, which seems to be a massive damage reduction for a 15 second cd, and his possible passive, that indeed seems like a second health pool that transform missing health into shields (and then into health again?) before dying. *Now that I see it again, the two things maybe are just part of the same e skill. His passive could easily be regeneration outside of combat, I would not be surprised.

I was saying this too, for him to be a vanguard. Like hitting enemies with abilities gives stacks of rage, causing increased health regen overtime, something like a rampaging Junker queen. His healing factor is what he's known for besides his claws.

Idk; They said that the roles don't work like they do in Overwatch Like some duelists can work as off-tanks, and some strategists can work as healing DPS. Basically, despite going into one role, a lot of characters can be hybrids.
Not the biggest fan of the default design. It's not terrible, but not something I'd see as a *main* Wolverine look. Maybe if he was being added to Street Fighter 6 as a guest, this design would make more sense. And hey, at least the more traditional Deadpool & Wolverine suit is an alt. we Chinese cummunity just find there are 9 hero not release，that means marvel rivals has 42 heroes now ，more than overwatch （41）a game with 8 years history. Truly insane！

To be fair it’s a lot easier for to adapt an already created character into a game then create an entire character from scratch
@@alexthegod5307 Yeah its like a goldmine of characters and lore that they can simply adapt into the game which speeds up the process incredibly.
@@alexthegod5307 Overwatch wasn’t really “starting from scratch”, Most of the characters were carried over from their failed MMO project “Titan”. Even now, they’re still creating characters from those concepts - I believe Hazard was repurposed from an old concept called “Phreak”.
The real reason OW fell behind is because for 3 years they put the game on life support. From 2019 - 2022 there was no new content while they tried to work on its failed PvE / Story Mode. In that time they could have put out 9 new heroes, but that’s not how it went.

I think in this clip we see two things, his e skill, which seems to be a massive damage reduction for a 15 second cd, and his possible passive, that indeed seems like a second health pool that transform missing health into shields (and then into health again?) before dying.
*Now that I see it again, the two things maybe are just part of the same e skill. His passive could easily be regeneration outside of combat, I would not be surprised.
@@pixavier9746 He got his passive active at the moment he recieve the second ult, so probably is a not die passive until the timer finish

Wolverine is such a strange looking creature in this game, and I absolutely love it.
Whoever's idea it was to have Logan's hair spike up in its classic style like a super saiyan when he goes "Beserker Rage" deserves a raise.
Or have it raised up at all times? Because that's why his mask is in that shape? Why tf do you want girly hair on Logan at all? Just make it spiked.

i’ve been saying this in so many games
I was saying this too, for him to be a vanguard. Like hitting enemies with abilities gives stacks of rage, causing increased health regen overtime, something like a rampaging Junker queen. His healing factor is what he's known for besides his claws.

Idk; They said that the roles don't work like they do in Overwatch
Like some duelists can work as off-tanks, and some strategists can work as healing DPS. Basically, despite going into one role, a lot of characters can be hybrids.
Not the biggest fan of the default design. It's not terrible, but not something I'd see as a *main* Wolverine look. Maybe if he was being added to Street Fighter 6 as a guest, this design would make more sense. And hey, at least the more traditional Deadpool & Wolverine suit is an alt.
