I am unable to fall asleep. I'm stuck w/2mg Xanax to rely on. They don't always work. After 3 days out, the walls are melting, the room is breathing, and the neon eye worms block reliable sight. By day 5 I am totally dysfunctional and have to have someone take me to the ER where they instantly assume I'm on drugs. I am not. I wish I were. Then I could just not take them and be OK. I've been stuck in this time loop for 20 years. I can't live this way, and apparently can't even die this way.
I really feel for you and just wish I could talk to you as you sound on the same page as me and it is so bad the way your normal NHS treat you mental health that is behind closed doors and without a secret camera I have no proof and tried for Dr Aly but in reality unless you are a celebrity (me talking about just me here) unless you a celebrity you will not get the treatment and genuine medication you need.@@kimsteed9401 Money talks and fame does too but who am I - just Worthless - yes mental health services are extremely busy but come on 31 years of feeling absolutely no better and to be told you need these medications but NHS costs you need to seek a private doctor basically tells you they cant be arsed to prescribe as they have a kitty which is theirs but what they do not understand is my general health doctors kitty maybe bigger (so mental health they say)but the general health are not sanctioned to prescribe the mental health without their authorization - sorry about the rant and was not directed at you but Dr Aly has had months to reply and are private service this busy too - and some phycologist at the mental health assured me I will not get another psychotic episode until I am 90 so how on earth does he know I will be alive at 90 - and take Sertraline for at least the next 10 years - now I am on 30mg Escitalopram only to be told that was the doctors discretion as 20mg is the maximum - I am treated like little black boy just like when I was bullied at school - they don't give a toss about my health - now is what I need is a drug called Alprazolam but it needs to come from a private doctor - and Lithium too - been used as a human guinea pig for 31 years but EU Meds sell for £85 for 28 days and have no idea what dosage I require hence wanting an assessment - really hope you are not annoyed at me blurting out like this but every day I hope Dr Aly will have responded but again I am not wealthy am I -better off dead.

You can get hallucinations and illusions from not sleeping for a few days, this will happen to anyone if they go on long enough without sleep.
