Thank you Becca for that! I was curious since your last video. ☺️ I was a YL ‘consultant’ (don’t know what they’re called 😅) 15 years ago and love that brand to this date!!! Such good quality! Unfortunately a bit pricy but when I pick up oils and want quality, it’s still YL 😊 And would you believe it, I still have the diffusers from back then!! One is starting to get loud, but wow 😉 Thanks for the book and blending suggestions, will have to look into that - xoxo ❤
Generally feet & spine are a great area because of the amount of nerve endings there! If I really am using the oil for the smell than I'll apply it where I can smell it - chest, behind ears, wrists etc!
Love this video! Thank you for sharing. My experience, when I first purchased the starter kit (which IS the way to go, honestly) there were really like (2) oils I didn't like. I experimented a little with combining them with citrus sometimes and that helped, when it came to diffusing the oils. Just because I wanted the true benefit of that oil. The one oil I didn't like that became one of my FAVORITES was Joy! I just didn't know what to do with it and decided to apply topically and OMG. I loved it. It seriously made me feel great. The power of oils.
I have heard so many people say that about joy!! That they didn't like it at all at first and then it became their favorite lol! I also love wearing joy, it's so so uplifting!
Perfect timing! I’ve been into essential oils but now that I’m pregnant I’m getting even more into them for labor/birth and postpartum support. The Pavlov’s dog theory is essentially how I’m using my oils in preparation for labor and I think it’s sooo fascinating
Hey mama! Love your videos!! I have to say I’ve used the solly wrap with all my babies for years and I love it! You look like you have a great fit, however I would definitely recommend you turn babes head to one side and then pull over one of the flaps of fabrics on the side of the cheek/face which opens up babes airway and supports the head :) also, you can pull the sides down over your shoulders which takes the pressure off your neck and allows your shoulders to support!
Thank you! I hear you, I try but for whatever reason she likes to burrow her head in and not turn it to the side most of the time. I can hear her breathing the entire time I'm wearing her, she's safe I can assure you! And it actually feel it's way more supportive when I wear it pulled up on my shoulders instead of pulled down. After 4 babies I think I've got it down ;)
Hi Becca, do you know if YL ships to FL? Because I read that shipping can be a problem because these oils are considered “dangerous” during transport? Please advise. Ty ❤
My mom still uses Tide powder and if she washes my kids clothes ever, it takes multiple cycles for the smell to dissipate- kind of scary! I only use dryer balls with EOs and country save detergent (too busy to make my own at this stage). It works wonders with my husband’s stinky logging and sugaring clothes!
I love eos ☺️ I have to ask, your hair is so gorgeous, can you share what you use to wash and care for it? Especially postpartum 😅 (I’m 6 wks pp with baby #9 and dreading the hair loss phase…)
I can't say for sure! Everyone's body is different. Although I have seen posts in our FB groups about women using it while being treated for thyroid stuff & it helping
For static - dryer balls speed drying time because they keep the clothes from balling up in the dryer, so you just need to dry them for less time and that should take cxare of the static issue
I see you add water to your diffuser- I thought I needed to empty it everyday (which is a pain) how often do you completely dump and refill? And if your not dumping, do you just add some water and do the normal amount of oil or a little less??
I just fill it to the line (not over) and then run it for the longest run time and the water gets used up! Every once in a while some water may be left but I don't dump it I just add more oils & refill to the line again
Hii becca! Was just wondering your opinion on Vit A. I realize it doesn't relate to this video but what did you take during pregnancy? Did your prenatal have vit A or beta carotene? Please help as I'm not sure what to take as my prenatal doesn't have vit A! Thnx ❤
Vertigo can have various causes, some of which can be addressed with essential oils, such as alleviating congestion or relieving tension that impacts the jaw and ear. Peppermint, lavender, helichrysum or frankincense could help in an inhaler or topical blend. There are also factors beyond what essential oils can prevent, like inner ear disorders or structural issues. Essential oils can still be beneficial in managing certain symptoms and emotions related to vertigo, such as nausea and anxiety. Do you know the cause for your vertigo? Understanding this could help to explore potential options. You might find it helpful to consult a physiotherapist who specialises in treating vertigo caused by inner ear issues. Acupuncture could also be a valuable complementary therapy, as it has been known to help with vertigo by addressing underlying imbalances.
I appreciate your enthusiasm, beautiful family etc… but I am amazed by the cost of these essential oils. I just wonder how quickly you burn through them, how often you have to repurchase, etc., with food, priority of eating well , general life expenses increasing sadly I don’t see it becoming part of my daily life.
I was just about to post something similar. Was about to jump on the bandwagon until I see the prices of all, for someone who works only part time this isn’t even an option unfortunately as much as I would have loved to incorporate it into my lifestyle.
I feel you… I recently switched to Plant Therapy EO! I do like YL but I just found it was too much money and I was burning through them so quickly… I think plant therapy and even revive have excellent quality and show their testing results for half the price!
I hear ya! First, you get what you pay for. There are def other companies out there (oils have become more mainstream which I think is awesome!) but no one goes to the length that YL does, and if I'm gonna invest at all in oils at all I want them to be the most effective if that makes sense. You can also DIY a lot of stuff if you have oils & save costs that way. Also if you watch my monthly hauls you'll see I rarely order oils lol we get SO many for free - they are super generous with freebies with their customers. Probably half or more than half of my oil collection I got for free

Becca, would you please do an in depth video of how and where to apply oils - and why?
Generally feet & spine are a great area because of the amount of nerve endings there! If I really am using the oil for the smell than I'll apply it where I can smell it - chest, behind ears, wrists etc!
would love to see how you budget and survive taking care of your household and running your business:) you’re amazing!!

I swear valor is the only thing that helps my restless legs at night, couple drops on each knee and it stops I swear by it!!!

Yess I liked to do this too! I always tried to use the same calming oil when doing hypnobabies practice!!

Just curious the paint color in your kitchen. Thanks!
Thanks for all the info! I'd love hear how you use & which oils you use during pregnancy, birth, & labor😄
Good to know thanks!!

I see you roll on the endoflex. Does it come as a roller or did you have to make the roller?

Gosh it's so strong isn't it?? Vinegar and digize oil (oddly enough lol) is great for stripping clothes!
I love eos ☺️ I have to ask, your hair is so gorgeous, can you share what you use to wash and care for it? Especially postpartum 😅 (I’m 6 wks pp with baby #9 and dreading the hair loss phase…)
Thank you!! I have a video all about my hair routine! ruclips.net/video/ojAH08QVf4E/видео.html
Does YL say which of their oils are safe for cats and toddlers?
Completely off topic but that little lamp in your kitchen on your counter next to the diffuser is so cute!!! Where did you find that 😊
Antique shop! :)
Would the thyroid oil effect me if I am taking a thyroid medication?
I can't say for sure! Everyone's body is different. Although I have seen posts in our FB groups about women using it while being treated for thyroid stuff & it helping
What washing machine detergent and softener do you use please? X
I dob't really use a softener but you can use vinegar for that! We use the thieves laundry soap
I tried the oil of the dryer ball and my clothes got oil stains 😢
We tried dryer balls too and made a dilute spray...and it held zero smell and we had horrible static cling :(
What oils were you using? If it was diluted with something/not totally pure that can happen. I've never had that happen with our clothes
For static - dryer balls speed drying time because they keep the clothes from balling up in the dryer, so you just need to dry them for less time and that should take cxare of the static issue
Hey Becca, thanks for your video! Can you use the progesterone oil if you are trying to conceive? And when pregnant?
I see you add water to your diffuser- I thought I needed to empty it everyday (which is a pain) how often do you completely dump and refill? And if your not dumping, do you just add some water and do the normal amount of oil or a little less??

Is there an oil that helps with vertigo by chance?
If you have health symptoms, you likely are lacking a nutrient. I would talk to a dr.

What brand baby wrap is that? It looks thin and soft!
Solly baby!
